Mr. Ted knows his stuff. I brought in my 2008 Versa because the transmission was leaking. I was worried I was going to have to replace it. I took my 2010 ford ranger to Ted's automatic transmission to get my automatic transmission filter and fluid changed. Before I took the ford ranger to them, I spoke to Ted and he gave me a quote of $125.00 and he said he is very busy and did not know when he could change the fluid and filter in the vehicle. I told him he could keep the vehicle as long as needed. So, I dropped off the vehicle and I expected it would take a week, to 3 weeks get to my vehicle back. So, I called him on Monday the next day, just to check on the vehicle. And to my pleasant surprise he already changed the fluid and filter. But, when I asked him how much money I owed him, he said $160.00. And when I told him he quoted me $125.00 he said that the ford recommends using synthetic transmission fluid. He only charged me a extra $25.00 the rest is because of taxes. Somebody in the office should have called me and told me that Ted's transmission needed to charge me extra. I appreciate that the fluid and filter on the 2010 Ford ranger was changed very fast. But, I should have been called. read more

I have a 19 year old car that would not shift out of park. I spoke with Marvin at Ted's by telephone and described the problem. He promptly and correctly diagnosed the issue and said it would most likely be an easy fix, but that I would need to wait a few days to have the car towed over because they were very busy. I called him on the day he said to call back and he said to have the car towed over. The car arrived at their shop at about 5:15 PM. By the next morning it was fixed at a very reasonable price. The entire staff was friendly and I was really impressed by Marvin's honesty. I would definitely recommend them and if I ever have a transmission problem I will certainly use them again. read more
