I strongly believe that if you are going to spend the money on a nice car, you should also have a reliable institution to count on when things go wrong. When I purchased my Land Rover Discovery Sport I drove it around for a couple of weeks without any problems. Then, one day I started having problems with the car's break fluid system. I reached out to many friends for recommendations on where to take my car, and Creech's was a common response. I showed up with full confidence that they would be able to "fix everything and more" but I unfortunately left completely distraught. When I picked up my car I assumed everything was ok and I was pleasantly surprised that the price for this procedure was under $100. Shortly after, I was exiting the parking lot on a hill and when I tried to come to a stop, the car failed. All of a sudden I was speeding down a hill into quickly moving traffic where I sadly proceeded to hit a doctor, a woman with a child in a shopping cart, and a family of local Canadian geese. Luckily, only the geese were killed and everyone else escaped with minor injuries. After explaining my situation, all of the victims decided not to press charges but I had to pay a hefty fine for interfering and killing wildlife. All of this goes to say I am incredibly disappointed with Creech's attempt at providing me with a solution to my car's problems. Now I not only have a poorly functioning brake fluid system, but one that is completely impractical and is responsible for murdering geese, and nearly taking three lives. My experience at other shops of being condescended to or attempts to outright scam me because I'm a woman do not carry over at Creech. The gentlemen I've worked with do not try to upsell me, they talk to me like they talk to any other customer, and their pricing is reasonable. I should ding them more for selling my information to CarFax without my knowledge or consent. CarFax apparently "knows" my driving habits. It emails telling me how many miles I've driven and when I'm due for an oil change, and until recently it was eerily accurate. I'm supposed to run to Creech to get service when CarFax says so that my car has a good service record for resale. I'm not a fan of this tactic. I'm a grown up, perfectly capable of getting my car serviced when due. Other than this breach of my privacy, Creech is great. read more
