We began using Peak Auto when we were tired of the dealer pricing for service on our older Mercedes. Our experience with Peak has been outstanding so far. Excellent pricing and honest service. After a long trip in my company vehicle, I was coming off of the highway when I noticed steam excaping from under the hood. I pull off and discovered a coolant spray in the engine compartment. With no elevated temprature and a 3 mile drive to Peak, I decided to limp my Tahoe there and have them take a look at the issue. This was later in the evening. I utilized the key drop. By 1030 am the following day, Matt called me with the diagnosis and a fair quote. He has also gone through my vehicle and provided a list of services that it was due for. The truck literally just left the dealer after a 5k transmission replacement at a Chevrolet dealer (it is a 2018 with 110k miles) and they did not check or suggest any of the service it had been due for. These guys are one of two BMW shops in the Raleigh area that I trust to do good work and take care of my cars. Their oil changes always come with a 25 point inspection of your vehicle to find all that may be wrong with your car and give you a quote on the work if you don't get done then. The oil changes also come with with a great car wash cleaning of your vehicle, so your car back looking great. My wife took our X5 in for service this past week and appreciate that they don't try to pile on problems to increase the repairs. Great shop if you're in the western Raleigh/Cary/Apex/Holly Springs area. My other preferred shop is in North Raleigh and they do good work as well but give loaners while they have yours, which is great for the longer term repairs so I'm not down a vehicle. Give Peak Auto a try and let them earn your business as they did with my 330 and X5. read more

They are very nice...kind of, they do not stand behind their vehicle and will ignore you after the sale. Haven't had the vehicle for 30 days and issues have came up and they ignored text and calls. If you buy a vehicle have it checked by a certified dealer to save headaches. read more

Took my BMW in to get my power steering pump and window regulator replaced in Jan. Around 4 months later I took it back because I noticed my power steering was empty due to a leak and the same window stopped working. They did nothing to fix the mistakes that were from a previous repair they did. They quoted me at $500 to replace two power steering hoses which I ended up replacing myself in less than 30 minutes and $100 in parts. Not sure why they wanted $500 for that. I thought peak auto would be my new goto place to fix my car in Apex but lack of customer service has changed that. I guess i'll just start taking it to the dealership so I know i'll get good customer service. read more

I have a European car, and when a headlight went out the dealersgip,quoted me $800 while these guys quoted $150. I was very impressed with my service at Peak auto. I went in for an oil change. They recommended only two minor things that could be worked on in addition to the oil change. Are usually find auto mechanics that have a laundry list of work they suggest to be done.I was even more pleased to find that my car had been washed and completely vacuumed out and the interior wiped down when I picked it up. read more

Had my Infiniti QX4 towed there to to be fixed to the tune of $2500.00 and some change. I bought it earlier in the month from a scam car dealer in Fuquay Varina. Peak said they did a thorough diagnosis, replaced my battery, mass air flow sensor, radiator, computer and had my key coded to new computer. Before any work was done I asked John to put all the parts they took off my car in the back so it can be used as evidence. I was charged $2500.00 and the only parts the tech found in the boxes was a radiator a couple of elbow joints and an empty computer casing. Which raises the question where are the parts I specifically told them to put in the back of my car? Where is the mass air flow sensor, where is the battery, where is the computer? I called them the other day and the guy tells me he was going to see if they were in the back and call me back, It's been 5 days and I haven't got that return call yet I paid them $2500 count em $2500.00 and was singing their praises until I didn't get the parts they said they replaced. I paid them all my savings and the car is doing the exact same thing it was doing before, not starting. read more

I had just moved to the area and I knew I needed a few things done with my car. I had thought that MAYBE there were a few other things that could use some looking at, but I didn't bother to mention it at the time. John took care of me really well. My only complaint was that he didn't provide updates. I think I called 2x to get updates over the period of 2 days (one to find out pricing, another to see if it was done). That was fine, because he was responsive quickly. The BIG perk of this place for me was the loaner car. Very helpful since I had only been living in the area a few days and was starting my new job while my car was here. Anyway, John explained everything well and my car was checked out so well that they discovered the things I thought might have issues- very impressive. He even took the time to explain one fix in detail for me. I had no idea they were cleaning my car, so that was a huge surprise. Looked so nice, inside and out. I will be back to fix up those other things very soon! SO happy to find a good place to take my loved car!!! Edit 9/7 I brought my car back and will continue doing so. They do a FANTASTIC job and wash/vacuumthe car after just an oil change and checking my cigg lighters that aren't working. Worth it. I took my M3 into Peak to have the convertible top repaired and for a tire sensor issue. Neither were repaired. Their customer service is what I am most disappointed in. I called at 9:15 am to report that the convertible top was stuck in a 1/2 open condition and I did not feel comfortable driving it until I heard back from them. I was told I would get a call right back. After sitting in a parking lot for about an hour, I realized I would not get a call. At 11:45, I was called and told to go to the trunk and crank the top down and that my husband had done this early. Why would I call them if my husband had a solution, really/ I explain that the car had been in the shop for over a week and they should be aware that there was no crank. Then I enquired why it took two and half hours to return my call and offer no helpful information. I was told he called the wrong number and did not realize it until the woman called back and said she did not have a BMW. Think about this for a moment, you would think he may have called my husband's number or email us. I guess I was not worth the effort as I waited for his call. He was extremely agitate that I questioned his lack of consideration for me and my time. Then, I basically got hung up on. Busy Mom's and working gals, I would avoid Peak Auto for anything but oil changes and believe it would be best to send your husband. They do not appear to be condensing to their male customers. There was no apology, just "anyone can make a human error" and a hang up. Poor quality work, Average auto detailing, Poor customer service. read more

I have used Peak Auto for 10 years. I took my 2008 Mercedes ML320 to have the oil checked over and an overall inspection. John advised that the front struts were leaking. $2,400 estimate. I thought it was high but I thought I had air shocks on front. John came back and said that it would only cost $1,700. After I got the car back, I noticed the front shocks seemed to be a lot stiffer. Upon inspection I found out that they put on after market Bilstein shocks. I went to the MB dealer and asked what two shocks for my car would cost. They gave me a quote of $810 total. Upon reviewing the receipt, John had charged me $1,143 for the Bilsteins. I went back to PA and asked John why he put after market. No good excuse. He him hahed around. Said he would order MB parts and he could get them for $700. He refunded me $475. I went on line and found the Bilesteins for $230 each or $460. He charged $1,143. Moral of the story. Things are not always more expensive at the dealer. Always double check your estimates from John and even call your dealer. John did a disservice to me and I will not bring back any of my cars. I have three MB's and John lost all my business. So sad. read more
