Fast, friendly. No pressure to buy anything, just informed me what I needed and the expected cost. They are a bit pricey. I am a first time customer and I'll go back. read more

It was quick easy and enjoyable like all the other times I go. They are very reliable and love the complementary water and love how you stay in the car! read more

I don't think I would refer them. It was almost $100 for an oil change. And it wasn't the best quality oil that they had. I thought that was kind of crazy. The young man kept stripping my screw first he tried to drill and it kept making that awful noise. Then he tried a screwdriver and that didn't work. Then he tried the drill again. I asked him just to bring it to me so I could know that it was in good shape when he finished with it. I don't know it out refer them. It wasn't a great experience. read more

Take 5 Oil Change - They left a mess under the hood - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

Was not quick for the $130 charge for an oil change. Staff was sitting around talking the majority of the time. Very disappointed. Will not be returning. Please visit other establishments. read more

Came in for an oil change after work and they not only didn't "take 5" but they "took" my dignity.. horrible service just sub par quality, and DONT get me started on value. Think critically about why these reviews are what they are and just stay safe from this place. It's personal. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The customer service is horrible and rude and if you think you are going to be here for only 5 minutes think again. read more

Messed up a simple oil change. Gasket was letting air in and had to get another oil change in less than 1000 miles. Would not recommend

Take 5 Oil Change - Capital Blvd Location (Raleigh, NC) Key Issues Experienced * Went in on Saturday for a routine oil change. * Skid plate was reinstalled incorrectly, with a screw placed in the wrong location. * Returned on Sunday due to noise and improper installation. * Manager on duty showed little concern and removed the skid plate entirely instead of fixing it. * Manager claimed it was "fine to drive without it," but the car made air‑pressure sucking sounds and scraping noises above 60 mph. * Called on Monday to check on the part; the general manager had no knowledge of the issue. * GM repeated that the car could be driven without the skid plate, despite the unsafe condition. * Returned on Wednesday to have the skid plate addressed. * Waited over 30 minutes in the lane with no acknowledgment from the manager on duty. * Manager looked directly at the car but made no effort to assist. * Another employee eventually approached and redirected the car to a different lane. * Overall experience was unprofessional, dismissive, and unsafe, leaving the vehicle in worse condition than when it arrived. read more

On 11/16 @9:00am I just had the best experience with the young lady and man at this location. They were both very pleasant and professional, which is something read more

Great experience here! Every employee very friendly and very professional. I've never been to a Take 5, but it was great to not have to get out of the car. I chose the high mileage oil and used an online coupon, total was $83 after coupon (my car takes 5 3/4 quarts). True to their word, once I was in the bay, it was about 10 minutes! Checked air pressure, washed windshield and reset my car reminder for me. Definitely recommend! read more

Won't go here again. While passing through Raleigh I stopped here. I'm always reluctant to go to these places but I was due for an oil change. They were nice enough and I assume they changed my filter and added the synthetic oil i requested; however, they neglected to put 2 bolts back into my skid plate (it has to be removed to do the filter change). Unfortunately I didn't realize it until I was back in Virginia. I called to advise of the mix-up. The manager Marcus said I was wrong and he's confident. Said I must not have had bolts on my skid plate when I came in??? What? I advised I'm quite confident I would have noticed this as the whole thing was hanging off. Also, why would they not have advised me that it was off when I came in? It's a 2023 Bronco that I take great care of. He then states he'd watch the video to verify he was correct and call me back. Never got a call - shocker. Just a payhetic experience and a manager who takes zero accountability. Don't waste your time and money here. read more

Best experience ever for my first time !!!! They were quick to greet me and offered water lol who does that? They do I felt welcomed and safe ! Good laughs and all. Will be coming here for my oil change since I moved to the Raleigh area!!! read more

I needed an oil change before work started and it went by quickly and smoothly. I was told to stay in my car during the whole thing. One young man was running the whole thing by himself and was able to do two lanes at a time and kept things moving reasonably quickly. He was nice and respectful and did a great job. Wish I would have gotten his name. I was there at about 8:30am and the wait was not bad. read more

Great service you stayed in your car and they service your vehicle for oil change! Did a basic inspections and said some recommendation but I was satisfied with my service from them read more

Take 5 puts a sticker on your car and resets your maintenance for 3000 miles so you get an unnecessary oil change because of this trickery. I didn't realize it untill they gave me a new sticker and said oh 3000 is to top off the fluids. Funny at 4000 miles they made no mention of this when they charged me $100 for another synthetic oil change !! Said how people get taken advantage of, also took 45 minutes and was misquoted over the phone. Overall poor experience too bad for the men that work there that there company probably wants them to sell more than do the right thing !!! Most synthetic oil last 7500 miles expecially lower mileage cars. read more

Very quick and great service, the young men did a great job explaining what I needed, and getting me in and out. I recommend this place because you don't have to get out of the car at all, they do everything right when you pull in, which I love you don't have to get out and sit in a cold waiting room. Just sit back and take 5 read more

As a woman, I am picky about where I go! Today is my second oil change I've had since moving to Raleigh and just as last time all workers on duty were wonderful, fast and efficient! Great customer service. friendly staff. they were passing out cold waters car to car to everyone waiting. they seemed super under staffed but all had smiles. One angry customer was crying and screaming over prices that were already explained to him. I watched the manager, Bri and her employee Wanya handle him with so much grace, when they were within their rights to react. stand up shop, stand up people. they have earned my business read more

ADVICE- Do Not Go Here . Being VERY Generous with giving them 1 stars, Started off Bad, Course they said they were OUT of the Economy Oil change which is already $55, Next level up is $89. No Excuse for being out of oil. Next, the 3 employees I saw were walking around like zombies so much so I even texted my wife saying the same. They did change the filter and thats about it -Period. They , at least to my understanding are supposed to check ALL fluid levels. I finally asked if they could refill the washer fluid in which he did do that but I HAD to ask for it. Nothing else under the hood was checked at all. ( all on video) . No tire Air/Wipers checked. I simply could not wait just to get out of there as I will check everything else myself in just a few minutes now that I am back home. This WAS SUPPOSED to be a service industry . Its anything But that here for sure. This location used to be an Old School Diner Restaurant back in the day before it was converted to this Take 5. I wish the restaurant was still there, They had much better service then. read more

It's really really gone down hill the last few years. Only two guys working. Whole time was about 45 mins. They only changed my oil. No other fluids checked, no tires checked, no windows cleaned, they don't offer water anymore, the dudes working barely talked to you, they were unhappy and looked miserable about having to be there. Really disappointed about the service. I'm surprised they could even change my oil properly. read more

They need more help here! I've been sitting in my car for 40 and still not in the garage yet! Super frustrating! Pay your employees more and get more help!!!!!!!! Nobody is honking here today! read more

Highly recommend this location. Wanya, the assistant manager, went out of his way to help me today, even when they didn't have the stock to perform my oil change. I will be back in a few days when they get my air filter in, and for all future oil changes! read more

I usually love this place. But today the person that came to the car just started talking no greeting nothing. Then no one in here is wearing a mask!!' I'm concerned I don't think I will be back and this is normally my go to place. read more

I was charged for the most expensive oil change when I didn't need it. They used to have a teacher discount but apparently not anymore. Oil changes are over priced for the service and what you get. Will not use again. read more

Tried the "drive thru" oil change and it was really convenient the guys in the shop are nice, efficient and will take time to explain what they are doing to you! It's nice to be able to watch them do the work and now what you asked for actually got done and not wonder if they charged you and never actually changed your oil! There could be a line so go when you have extra time just in case! read more

Not really impressed. Even though 3 bays were operational when I pulled in (1 car in each bay), it still took 25 minutes before I was able to pull into the garage. It was another 15 minutes before they started working on my car. There were about 6-8 techs walking around the shop but NOT ONE of them seemed like they were interested in doing any work today. It's disappointing that a drive thru oil change concept is executed so poorly here. If management stepped in to create a little more urgency and customer-focus, I would consider coming back here for an overpriced oil change. Unfortunately, this is not a 5-minute oil change, and it's expensive in relation to the service I received here. I'll try Valvoline Instant Oil Change next time. read more

they'll pop your hood and make you wait forever. asked for topoff and got an oil change unfortunatley since the work was already done i had to pay even though all i needed was a top off. very slow workers, they do not check tire pressure or anything else anymore. use to use them often but service deff has gotten worse. very disappointed. will not be going back to take 5 read more

If you value your money and car, do NOT go here. Sloppy oil change with oil spilled on my engine, leaving a putrid smell that had to be fixed elsewhere. Technician involved me in fraud. Go to an independent shop where they actually care about your car and they're professional. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Staff is clueless, broke my air filter and came back 3 times and each time they acknowledged they messed it up but no one there knew how to fix it. They shouldn't have even touched it because I told them OIL CHANGE ONLY. Called because my check engine light Cane back in after leaving the second time and they said "just drive around it'll go off" BRAND NEW CAR never had any issues until they messed it up. read more

These guys left the oil filter loose on my 2022 Suburban . I was lucky I saw oil spots in my driveway . I crawled under and checked and the oilfilter was less than hand tight and dripping . This would have blown the engine if the filter had came off and would not have been covered by GM warranty ... The engine replacement would have been over 10,000 dollars . This place is a blown engine waiting to happen . I caught this but most people would have not been so lucky ... I would not take anything here ! Had to pressure wash driveway but I'm lucky they didn't destroy a brand new truck . Went here because of location but beware you could loose an engine here . read more

These guys are typically efficient with the whole process. It also appears they have very good quality checks to insure things are done properly. I like the wait in the car system as opposed to greasy waiting room where subjected to uncomfortable chairs and more than likely a TV set to some liberal chat bull crap. The one thing that needs help is the system of who is doing what. The other bonuses are you are always offered a free drink, air fresheners and coupons can always be found online. read more
