What a great experience. This place was clean, the employees very nice and professional and the service outstanding. I went in for a synthetic blend oil change, and while there decided to rotate my tires. They have 3 bays so where able to get me in and out fast! They even topped off my fluids! This is a great place if you are looking for a fast, professional job I have been to location twice now and they have been prompt, courteous and professional. These guys have my business hands down. I visited the Grease Monkey location on Chapel Hill Road in Morrisville for an oil and filter service on my Mercedes-Benz GLC 300. After pulling my vehicle into the bay, the technician removed the oil cap and then discovered they did not have the correct oil or filter needed to perform the service. My vehicle was returned to me, and I left the location. A few miles later, I noticed the vehicle was idling rough and driving abnormally. After stopping to inspect the engine, I discovered the oil cap was missing. When I called the Morrisville location, the employee who answered immediately recognized the seriousness of the situation and transferred me to the technician, who instructed me to drive to another Grease Monkey location in Cary. The Cary team discovered engine oil throughout the engine compartment and eventually found the missing oil cap lodged inside the engine bay. They cleaned the engine, completed the oil change, and inspected the vehicle. My concern is that a vehicle was released after a technician removed a critical engine component and failed to ensure it was properly reinstalled before returning the vehicle to the customer. Given the potential risk of engine damage, this was a serious oversight and needs to be addressed. read more

Came in for an oil change! They did a good job of getting me right in.. The looked fast and efficient. I was quoted one price in the beginning and i didn't like the fact that by the time i went to ring out it was almost $65 more! Even with coupon... They really tried to over charge me $150 for an oil change!! Crazy If this is customer service, I don't want it!! They lowered it down to $90. Still crazy when i was quoted $75. read more

So, I have been coming to Fast Lube for inspections and oil changes for over 10 years. They have always provided me with good service, so I thought today would be the same. Got there this morning at 8:10 AM. Waited 30 minutes for them to inform me that they do not carry 10W 30 oil for my 2004 Pacifica. I agree with the other customers that have commented. The level of service has declined. I am not sure what happened to the crew that was there 3 years ago, but this crew here . . . Geez. I guess my business has to go elsewhere. I get my car inspected here. Can't really screw that up. Only complaint I have is it is slow. Most of time only two people working. Plan to wait up words of 1-2 hours. I've used this location on and off for years and I have never had a negative interaction. They're hidden behind a CVS and school/bank of some sort. Next to Park West Village, which is a nice shopping center to cruise around when in the area. Not necessarily overly-friendly, but kind, hardworking folks at this place. I've had an oil change or two, inspections, and bulb/wiper replacements, etc. Each time, they were courteous, helpful, and honest. Sometimes they will try to upsell you other fixes via a printout, but that was years ago and they don't pressure you, they simply ask if you'd like any of those services done during your visit. They answer any questions you may have. The issue with the card reader is simply that you need to hold the card to the verifone reader for longer than most readers. I've enjoyed using this location. They've surprised me with their reliability over the years, since I've used Jiffy Lubes and other local/highly rated repair/service shops in the past and Fast Lube Plus has been the best at staying mostly consistent in their ability to serve. Will, Kristopher, and one other guy were great for my State Inspection and brake light replacement today. Will was super helpful over the phone the day before. read more

So it's a Saturday afternoon and getting mechanical work done on your vehicle on a Saturday...well, we all know that's usually not the business (aka it can be a pain in the a$$) & understandably because that's when most people get their car serviced. However, if you go to Fast Lube Plus, you will not be singing that same old sad Saturday at the mechanics shop, song. No. You will be very pleased with not only the length of time you have to wait (with free WiFi) but with the amazing service. Dear FLP, I will be a customer as long as I live in this great state of North Carolina. I say this because the moment I stepped out of my car and walked towards the entrance, Aaron greeted me & I was immediately made aware of his professionalism, hospitality, relatability & no BS way of breaking things down for you when it comes to your car and what is necessary versus what's not necessary (very important). I was so impressed (AND Grateful!) I felt so good about the decision that I made to come to this location (thanks to Yelp!) because right before I came here I went to a Just Tires location (bc it was closer to my home & they provided some free car checks/coupons). I walked in the door and after 7 minutes of not being greeted or acknowledged...it got worse when I got to the counter. I felt like it was not the place that I would like my car to be serviced, or that I would like to be. My intuition told me to leave so I declined the service I scheduled online, got back in my car, got on yelp and came straight here...and I'm so glad I did. I work for a company with a fleet of vehicles that were in need of state inspections. Tried to have Fast lube take care of this matter for my company but they denied servicing of our vehicles for a simple state inspection claiming that they can't lift a van to check the tires and brakes. In previous years my company has taken all of our vehicles to Fast lube and they were able to handle every one of our inspections. I talked with "SEAN" at Fast Lube and he was not helpful with my situation at all. I would NEVER recommend this location to anybody for Fast Lube to work on their car. read more

This has completely made me lose faith in this location and the company as a whole. I'm posting and sharing this every and anywhere you can leave a review. Technicians were friendly and knowledgeable, but here was NO HEAT in the lobby. It's below freezing today (January 17, 2024), why on earth is there no heat? I had to take my business to somewhere where I wouldn't freeze to death waiting for my oil change. When I asked the employees why it was cold, they said they've been told for MONTHS that the heat would be fixed and it still isn't. Not sure I would return if a company thinks that little of their customers to not even provide heat in the middle of January! Considering they removed the review talking about the lack of heat, it seems they have zero plans to remedy that situation. So bundle up if you go for an oil change, you'll need all the layers you can get. read more

Took us right in on a Saturday @ 11:30am! Fast lube had great customer service, provided more services than other automotive places and follows manufacture recommended guidelines for auto maintenance. Our new place for all basic auto care options. We will be back for sure. ***The only draw back we have is that your going to want to have your younger techs not focus on the cell phone calls and music. As well as practice their pitch to customers. Doesn't matter how multi task capable people are. Customers notice things. We would of gladly of spent more money with a little bit more professionalism. You can't sell me a cabin air filter, fuel injection upgrade or other expensive maintenance services if headphones are bobbing from the head or the word um comes out after every sentence. Do more training and increase your morality in the workspace. Your doing business in a community of educated consumers. Cater to them. Went in for a simple inspection on a 2016 vehicle. I would avoid this place. They Upsell Upsell Upsell....they try to force you to buy wipers in order to let you pass inspection. I don't know where to begin. I brought my Audi in for a routine oil change. I had done so several times at this location. It seemed though that the personnel had changed, perhaps a change in management? The man next to me was upset because once again two times in a row they had forgotten to rotate his tires as asked. My problem was a little bit more complex and costly. While I was waiting, a technician came out and told me that a mistake had been made. they had drained my transmission oil instead of my regular engine oil. This was not easy to fix. They had to go over an hour away to get this transmission fluid. To make things worse they didn't even have the oil filter on hand to change my oil. A day later I got my car back. Apparently they had to call in a specialist to fill and check the transmission oil level of my Audi. A couple weeks later while driving down the freeway, my belly pan or scratch pad came off and was dragging underneath my car. I had to wait two hours on the side of the road until the tow truck towed me back to their facility. Once again, an overnight stay for my car. Since they were unable to replace the scratch pad, they told me to go to an Audi dealership and have them. replace it and put it back on and they would file a claim. Two weeks later nothing had happened. Approximately a month after that while driving without one scratch pad the other scratchpad came off and was dragging underneath my car. Miscommunication was prevalent. I finally had to go to the district manager to get my claim put in. needless to say, I spent a lot of money at the Audi dealership. They even found a transmission leak that was not present before. My car had never had a problem prior to this experience. My advice. Never go there if you have a foreign car. I myself , I'm calling it a day with this company, Therefore, putting an end to this nightmare. read more

I went in today because I've had problems with one of my tires losing air--culminating in a flat this morning. I had put some Fix-A-Flat in it this morning to get to work, and went to Fast Lube after work to have them plug the tire, and go ahead and change the oil since it was almost due. I sat down while they looked over the car. When the gentleman came in to discuss the work with me he said I needed a new air filter ($20), a transmission fluid flush ($50), and a new battery ($100) and didn't say ONE WORD about my tire. When I tried to ask about it, all I got was excuses: Me: What about my tire? Them: Well, they look pretty new, sometimes they don't get the seal right. Take it back to where you bought them and have them reseal it. Me: But they aren't new--I've had them for two years and this is the first time it's happened. Them: Well the Fix-A-Flat must have fixed it. Me: But the Fix-A-Flat is just supposed to be temporary, the can says to have it professionally fixed in 100 miles or 3 days. Them: Well we can't see anything, if it happens again bring it back. --they bring the car out-- Me: Did you put air in the tires? That one still looks low. Them: Well sometimes the weight of the engine will make it look that way. Me: ??? Needless to say I will be taking the tire elsewhere to be checked. Look, I get that you are required to try to up-sell, but please address the $20 problem I came in for before trying to sell me another $200 of work. PROS: The oil change was quick & inexpensive. UPDATE: I just received a call back from the new shop I took my car to, they told me that a previous plug on the tire (which had been done by this Fast Lube!) was done improperly & was leaking, which was causing my problem. UPDATE 2: I called Fast Lube & spoke with the manager, Dan, who was very polite & promised to take care of any services I need done next time, which was kind of him. I will return to Fast Lube for future oil changes & for State Inspections, because they are quick & inexpensive, but I will leave other repairs (especially tires) to more specialized shops. read more

I originally went across the street to Meineke for my state inspection and witnessed the man behind the counter speaking to the young lady in front of me in a disrespectful/condescending manner. I immediately got a bad vibe about the place. When it was my turn he had the same disrespectful/condescending attitude with me to the point that I turned around and walked out the door. I had the exact opposite experience at Fast Lube Plus. I pulled right up and was taken care of immediately. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and treated me with respect. The state inspection took 20 minutes. Don't waste your time with Meineke and go across the street to Fast Lube Plus. Since demise of Southern States I have been reluctant to get oil changes at any of the "fast" locations, but I found Fast Lube to be very knowledgeable of my VW Jetta. In fact after 100K of services at Southern States, today was the first time anyone suggested I change my cabin filter. It was completely clogged. Purchased a Battery from the Garner location 13 months ago and it went bad before the warranty was up. Went to get my warranty honored and had to deal with a bunch of red tape concerning the purchase of the battery and what not. It clearly was still a pretty new battery with no battery acid, no scuffs, no marks, & with all applicable stickers for them to know it was purchased from their store and now I'm having to take it to Interstate Batteries to see if THEY will honor the warranty that Fast Lube Plus was SUPPOSED to honor...pretty peeved at the moment and would NEVER recommend ANYBODY to purchase their batteries.
