Aamco took it for a drive and tested the transmission fluid and found that the fluid was very deteriorated but nothing else wrong. Changing the transmission fluid worked wonders-the car is now running smoother and much more responsive and powerful, even then the highway goes uphill (where it was sometimes having problems before- now it's maintaining speed and power and shifting to a higher gear as it should). They even offer local transportation when you drop off/pick up. Thank You Aamco! Highly recommend, will come here for all maintenance.

The surprising part is even if my engine air filter needs replacing, they never carry it. Put it in the notes and either stock it or don't pull it next time. They provide tire rotation, but always make excuses why they can't do it or tell me the treads are wearing evenly. They are wearing evenly BECAUSE THEY GET ROTATED! I have no words. Since the last Dr. Appointment was in the vicinity of Mr. Tire in Garner I decided to stop by to see if I could get someone to check my tire. I went in and a nice young man came to the counter and wrote up a ticket for the check up. Then another gentleman came very quickly and took the vehicle in back and checked the tire. Fortunately for me it only need some air added which the gentleman added plus checked the other tires for problems. I was willing to pay just to make sure all was safe on my vehicle. I showed them the corrosion before the work had even began and they said they would give it a try. (Battery is under seat which is just peachy). They said they were busy, so they might not get to it Monday. I asked when on Tuesday would be good, suggesting 3PM and that was "plenty of time." I called at 2:30 for an update and they said the technician wouldn't be able to work on it due to it being a safety issue. If the seat is unscrewed, obviously it would be dangerous. I told them to just remove the front two screws and it tips back (how I've changed the battery before). They said they would give it a try. I called back AGAIN at 6PM and they said, "Nope, still a safety issue and the tech was afraid he would bust the screw head off if he tried any harder." So, they jumped the car and I got it going. I went and bought the 10mm triple square bit and all the fixins to drill and reverse that screw out. Guess what? The screws came out easy, no issues. I think the real safety issue is they have someone working on vehicles who doesn't possess the strength to turn a ratchet. I would suggest that management require the person to perform a company mandated physical or an investigation. I'm concerned for the safety of an individual who is unable to provide a slight torque on a ratchet without fear of injury. This could be a sign of a serious medical condition, and I think Firestone needs to investigate the wrist and arm strength of this technician before they break their thin birdlike bones.
