Aamco took it for a drive and tested the transmission fluid and found that the fluid was very deteriorated but nothing else wrong. Changing the transmission fluid worked wonders-the car is now running smoother and much more responsive and powerful, even then the highway goes uphill (where it was sometimes having problems before- now it's maintaining speed and power and shifting to a higher gear as it should). They even offer local transportation when you drop off/pick up. Thank You Aamco! Highly recommend, will come here for all maintenance.

They hold that right as business owners, which I understand completely. One of their staff members was not aware of this and it was not until after a $120 diagnostic that I was notified they don't accept payments from insurance/warranty companies. I explained to the owner that I had multiple phone calls with this staff member about using my warranty company as payment. Staff is not educated on the shops policy and client is bitting the bullet! I stopped on the exit to check the oil levels and hopefully add a little oil in order to get back on the road, but the engine was making a loud ticking noise. There was smoke coming from the engine bay and oil sprayed all the way up the back window of the car. That's when I decided that it was best to leave it there and have it towed to the nearest automotive shop. Thankfully, JT&AS was no more than 7 miles away from where I was stranded.
