They hold that right as business owners, which I understand completely. One of their staff members was not aware of this and it was not until after a $120 diagnostic that I was notified they don't accept payments from insurance/warranty companies. I explained to the owner that I had multiple phone calls with this staff member about using my warranty company as payment. Staff is not educated on the shops policy and client is bitting the bullet! No refund.

I have till Thursday with covered insurance car rental and there's no way my car will be out by then. I have talked to them and said understood my situation but how when your lying straight to me over the phone. Financially after March 2 I will no longer have a car rental and I can't afford to pay on my own. I have a job I also need to get to. If this accident would've been my fault I wouldn't be posting but it is not and how long the car is taking is ridiculous. My insurance will not do more extensions I have done everything in my reach. I stopped on the exit to check the oil levels and hopefully add a little oil in order to get back on the road, but the engine was making a loud ticking noise. There was smoke coming from the engine bay and oil sprayed all the way up the back window of the car. That's when I decided that it was best to leave it there and have it towed to the nearest automotive shop. Thankfully, JT&AS was no more than 7 miles away from where I was stranded. Not only was I in the right place at the right time, but JT&AS is a shop that I'll begin going to regardless of the other shops that are closer to my home in Raleigh. The service was impeccable.
