I had a used tire put on about 2 days ago. No issues driving home, however, I noticed a humming/ vibrating noise coming from my steering wheel which I had never heard before. I kindly asked the mechanics at Murray's to take a look at the issue but instead they had me wait an hour just for them to say "yeah sounds like a humming noise which is a mechanic issue we can't help you". As if that's not why I came to have my looked at the first place. I'm very disappointed with their services and feel like something was done to my vehicle. read more

Highly recommended. I needed one tire to replace a damaged 18-incher on my Pilot, high prices for a new one, up to $200 in a lot of places. Murray's sold me a nice Michelin with about half of the tread life remaining, even wear, no cupping or feathering, for $55, mounted and balanced, a bargain. The staff was helpful, efficient, impressive workflow, knowledgable folks, great service. I was shown the tire before it was mounted. Can't say enough good about these folks. read more

I have been a customer for probably eight+ years, same 2005 Honda Element. Everything, every time, every repair, etc. is always a phenomenal, courteous, professional experience. I've had new tires, inspections, tire patches, alignments and most recently a serious suspension system repair. My car has never driven smoother. I wish I took it in sooner. All members of the "team" that helped me were very attentive, able and polite. I had a leak in on tire which turned out to be a screw. They fixed that, and checked the rest of the tires as well. When they did so, a nail was found in the side wall of another of my tires! As that kind of breach cannot be fixed, I had to replace the tire. They were able to prorate the new replacement with about 45% off. I love the attentiveness of this place! read more

Had a slow leak after driving from Florida to Raleigh NC. Anyone who drives i95 in South Carolina knows how bad the roads are. Hit a bunch of worrisome potholes so I thought I might have bent the rim or damaged the wheel. Inside of wheel had dirt and water in it, corrosion had set in so damage had begun far before the trip. They grinded the inside to fix it, and the tire so it was adjusted to the change in the wheel. Price? $35. Jesus the tech brought me out to see the issue and explained everything. He also completed the fix. I appreciated their honesty and approach, and I'm thrilled as it could have been far worse. I'll update after the drive back, but so far I'm very impressed. The service at Murray's is amazing from anyone that works there and especially Gary the owner, Ashley & Gary's daughter in the office, and the mechanic that worked on my car. The tires on my 2010 Toyota Venza AWD had ~34,500 miles and plenty of tread left for a car only used for short trips around town. The right rear tire picked up 3 nails in less than 6 months due to the high volume of home construction in our area. 2 nail holes were repaired but the third on the inner sidewall was not repairable. There's mixed advice on how many tires to replace (1, both rear, or all 4) for AWD vehicles. I wanted to avoid replacing all 4 tires due to the high cost & possibility of picking up another nail. Murray's sells new tires however, after checking my tires Gary offered a great option to replace the damaged tire with a comparable used tire for ~1/3 of the cost of a new tire mounted, balanced, and installed. I drove by 6+ tire places to try Murray's for the first time. This experience at Murray's has earned them a customer for life! 20-year Navy Veteran! read more

My daughter just got her Level I Driver's License (that's a learner's permit for all the old fogies like me that didn't have a graduated license as a teen). She hit a curb...hard. Upon inspecting the tire, I saw that the impact had caused a pretty big bubble to form. Got the spare put on and did some research on where to get a used tire quickly. Went to Murrays later that week and I am so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, all the staff were helpful and made sure I had plenty of information at every step. The technician who did my work made sure I understood pricing due to having 18" tires and AWD & explained the process for me. He checked their inventory of used tires and located a good option with lots of tread left. He had me take a look before he installed and everything went wonderfully. He even added air to all the tires and my spare before putting my spare back in the trunk for me. I have zero complaints about the price and service I received and I won't hesitate to use Murray's again, if the need arises. read more

Got four new tires. I went back the next day because the front passenger side tire had a slow leak. Now I'm back because the rear passenger side tire has a even slower leak. The first visit was two and a half hours. Now I've wasted another two hours on top of that. Everyone is very friendly and nice but I don't like wasting my time on something that should've been done right the first time. read more

I had been a former customer and was a fan of Murray's. However, my most recent experience involved waiting more than 30 minutes to be shown a tire that turned out to be badly worn. Frustrating as the visit could have been much faster, but not wasting my time didn't seem to be a priority for the staff on premises during this visit. I Nc went to Murrays to get a full size tire I didn't notice want t pay for a new one so they happily found me a decent used tire The tire guy mounted and balanced it and when the lights were still on he called over the electronics guy. He used 2 different meters to reset them all i left there better than I started (a tire pressure light was also gone). I surpassed many tire shops on the way here, but I'd rather come to Murray's any day. Somewhere I trust and give my money to a company who values their customers. They are worth the trip! Very friendly customer service. Very reasonably priced. I felt respected, and they seemed to genuinely care about each customer that walked in the door. I got four tires, so it took almost 2 hours. At the end there was a truck being serviced, blocking the door to the bay where my car was, so I couldn't retrieve it right away after the work was complete. This was very minor though, in the grand scheme of things. I would come back here again, and recommend it to friends, based on the great customer service, quality work, and friendly mechanic who took care of my tires.
