Terrible place. Zero Customer Service with Corporate No Help at all. On 11/5/2025 I took my 2024 new leases vehicle for a simple oil change. This is what I ended up with. The crew stripped the screw. Zip tied the bottom oil pan over because they lost the screws! I wasn't aware until the next day when the cover was scraping the road and I was pulled over. I called the location they ignored me. I called corporate and they said it's a franchise and they can't do anything about it, but they will email them. Well folks I ended up taking it to Precision Tune auto Care in Wake Forest. They're WHOLE management team is amazing. They were fast communicative, responsible, honest and patient. Maddie was the person taking care of me her and the amazing support of her management team discovered several other issues other than just my oil in my car everyone had good energy. Everyone was respectful. How this is a 5 star place is beyond me. Bout. Week or so ago my oldest son took his truck here to get an oil change. He has a 2003 ford ranger they charged 112.00 to change his oil. I don't even pay that on brand new cars. He is having issues with his car so I was looking at it when I noticed the oil filter seems a bit dirty to have been just changed. I got down and looked and sure enough they didn't change his oil or filter and instead charged him and sent him on his why. I followed him back to the establishment where there were about 5/6 ppl working including the "manager" he was nice and I believe he said 23 years old. I told him he has to do better watching his employees if he indeed was the manager. I called Raleigh police to let them know of the deceit bc I'm sure my son is not the first or last to go to one of these quick oil change places that have children working who could care less about the damage they are causing to peoples vehicles. I am in the process of trying to locate the owners information and filing complaints with the bbb and wake county government. Buyer beware read more

My husband took my car to Take 5 to get an oil change on a Sunday. They changed my oil but stripped the bolt on my oil pan. This caused a major oil leak! I was traveling with my young children to Charlotte the next day and I noticed the leak when I arrived in Charlotte. When I took my car back to Take 5, when I returned the on that Monday, they said I needed to call to speak with the shop manager, Marcus. I did that and Marcus never returned my call. I received a call from someone named Xavier and few days later who told me to bring my car back so that they could look at it. At this point my husband fixed the bolt in the oil pan because it was unsafe to drive. When I took my vehicle back up there for the second time, Marcus informed me that they couldn't refund me my money because someone else worked on my vehicle. If they had looked and fixed the problem the first time I returned then my husband wouldn't have had to work on my vehicle! Also, if Ruddy would have informed my husband that the bolt was stripped then I wouldn't have had a major oil leak! Do not go to this place! They will mess up your vehicle and take no accountability for their actions! I will never return. read more

I needed a tire pressure check...when I arrived I was met with a complimentary bottle of water and a positive attitude! Additionally, the tech went out of his way to do a thorough job of checking the tire pressure, and even took the extra step of cleaning my window. I had the best experience with top notch service with Joey and his team at Take 5 Oil Change! The team was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. I am not used to taking our vehicles to get serviced but our Suburban was in much need of an oil change. As I pulled into the garage I was very apprehensive but I was greeted with waves and lots of smiles. I was immediately approached by Joey and his team ready to help in any way. Joey then asked what kind of oil I would like and if I would like my air filter changed? I immediately informed him of my lack of knowledge and explained I normally do not have our vehicles serviced. Joey didn't skip a step he immediately explained the different options of oil and his recommendation as well as explaining the need to get my air filter changed and why you get your air filter changed. At no time did he seem agitated or bothered in fact the opposite he was incredibly eager to help. I was incredibly impressed with the attentiveness and level of knowledge the staff displayed! First time getting an oil change at an Take 5 location, I can say this was a great experience, I love that I don't have to get out of my car for the service to be completed, the staff was very helpful and explained to me what was needed and what will be done during my service. What I liked most was the safety check that they do as a team to ensure that they put everything back in its place and they do where we as a customer can hear, that is a very good practice to put into place. My go-to oil change / minor service place changed hours and it's no longer convenient for me to use them. I tried out Take 5 this weekend and was thoroughly impressed! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING- exact words from my BOYFRIEND who prides himself on making sure he can do everything car related for me. We were completely out of oil due to a mistake we made playing around and couldn't find the oil we needed at Lowe's foods so we came here.
