I needed an inspection for my vehicle as it was really due. I drove to this location figuring that all I need is an inspection, and I don't think they can mess that up, and the prices are regulated by the State, so I don't think I will get overcharged. I pulled up and informed the nice lady outside that I needed a state inspection. The associate responded with, "We don't have any stickers, so we can't do an inspection. You can go over to Atlantic Ave. They have stickers over there." This is not my first vehicle, nor my first inspection. I know that in the State of North Carolina they stopped using inspection stickers a long time ago. They timed the vehicle inspection with the vehicle registration, so that when your registration is due, so is your inspection. I don't understand why they would like to me. If they didn't want to do the inspection, they could have just said so, but they didn't have to treat me like an 16 year old girl and this was my first time out on the road by myself ever. I don't think I can recommend this place, not even for something like an inspection, a task that if virtually foolproof. read more

I have to give a shout out to the folks over at Jiffy Lube today. I've visited this location several times for State Inspections and oil changes over the years. Today, I was able to get an oil change before the Saturday morning rush. After leaving, I went on my way running Saturday errands... so now I'm across town when I noticed smoke coming out from under my hood. I immediately called back the Jiffy Lube store and told them what was going on. Geez, I felt like the Damsel in Distressed... they sent out the calvary and checked out my car on the spot. Turns out a little oil was spilled on the engine, and when it got hot, it started to burn off and smoke pretty badly. They apologized for the inconvenience, cleaned up the oil, check the levels and sent me on my way. I was truly impressed with the level of customer service I received from everyone I encountered. I needed a oil change so i found this jiffy lube, 2 other customers had came in at the same time I arrived. The one worker asked me what oil type i needed so i told him 5w-20 then he asked if it needed synthetic i said yes. Manager (i assume) told us something about an invoice if we used a card. Then he had told us a 5000 mile oil change was $79, a 10,000 mile oil change was $120 well i got the 5k mile oil change. Came to paying and i owed $107 for the oil change. Ive been to places like this where i only had to pay $$60-70 max. Then when i asked "i thought it was like $80" the manager skip over what i said and told me to fill my info out on the sheet. Terrible and slow. I went for my state inspection and had to come back 3 times because they either wrote the appointment down wrong or couldn't find me in their system(even though I've come for tires before). 3rd try getting my inspection, the place is empty, and they tell me it'll be an hour wait. I'm usually in and out in 15-20 minutes max for a state inspection. Never coming here again and never recommending. Need to improve speed and service. Sad because it's right by my house. read more

This is the worst Jiffy Lube experience I have ever had and I will not return here, even though it's the closest to where I live. When I arrived, I was greeted by a not-too-happy representative who asked me what I wanted; when I began to tell him all the services I was looking for, he asked me to wait inside and someone would call me to ask what I wanted. As I waited, someone stuck his head inside and asked me what services I wanted: I wanted the platinum synthetic oil change, a tire rotation (and they usually ensure the tires are properly inflated), and that's all I remembered at the time. About 10 minutes later, I was called out to the bay by a very somber looking man. He told me the recently replaced cabin air filter ($16, replaced about 6 months ago) was no good because he couldn't see light through it(!). I told him I purchased this because it was a micro-filter that would filter out 99.5% of all dust, dirt, etc. that could travel through the filter. Nevertheless, he insisted I didn't have a proper filter, that this filter would block the air circulating in the cabin, that it could damage the fan, and that I needed to purchase a new $55.99 cabin filter. About 15 minutes later, I was handed my FOB and told my car was ready. I was really surprised. No one consulted with me, asked me about any additional services I might want (like Rain-X on all the windows, which I forgot to mention), or any fluid replacements, or anything! Instead, there was an elderly gentleman who started ringing up another customer whose car wasn't ready, never finished her order, and never attended me, even though it was my car that was ready. He eventually left the desk, went into the bay, and never returned, and I was left standing there without paying. I waited another ten minutes for someone else to come in and someone finally did attend to closing my sale. During the close, he didn't offer me any of the typical discounts on services I usually received, such as a discount on the top-of-the-line oil change and a discount on the tire rotation. When I asked, he said there were no discounts, but as he scrolled through the list, I saw a AAA discount, which I am a member, and he gave me that discount (10%). I saw the $5 off the tire rotation discount, and he added that, and I pointed out the discount for the platinum oil change, which he refused to give me pointing out that I already had two discounts. I paid the bill and left. Here's what I found when I got back to my car: 1) When I got to the car, it looked like someone with oily hands had pressed his hands onto the seat of the the faux leather driver's seat cushion; the passenger's seat cushion was also dirty. (See photos.) 2) I also noticed significant stains on the driver's side door handle and the side of the car. (See photos.) 3) As soon as I turned the car on, I was nearly blasted out of it because someone raised the volume to 75% of total volume (I keep it at 20% of total) and he also changed my radio's settings from Media to an FM station I would NEVER listen to! 4) Someone also turned off the auto-airconditioning mode, set it to manual, and turned the AC fan on high. 5) At the stop light, waiting to turn onto Capital Blvd, I noticed that the front windshield hadn't been cleaned. 6) I then looked at the oil change reminder sticker to see when my next oil change was going to be, and they hadn't replaced it: it was the old sticker! 7) I noticed last night that the oil change indicator (Maint Required) light hadn't been reset. (See photo.) 8) The receipt says my next oil change is due in 5,000 miles, but for my car, a 2014 Prius, the oil change interval is actually 10,000 miles. With all that went wrong, I now wonder if they properly filled my tires and actually changed the oil and oil filter! I can attest that they rotated the tires as I could see them working through the window of the door leading into the shop, but that's all I can personally attest to. Went today for a slightly overdue oil change. The worker remembered me from a previous visit (more accurately the Hooters polo shirt I was wearing jogged his memory). He mentioned a special where I could get the high mileage oil for the same price as the standard oil. I gladly accepted. It had also been some time since I replaced the air filter and agreed to that service as well. I also mentioned I still had the coupon book from a previous visit and he mentioned it included a 25% discount for the air filter. As I presented the coupon book before payment, he politely (and quietly) mentioned that the coupon book was expired. He then promptly gave me a new coupon book and those discounts, plus my AAA membership discount. The result was a $94 service cost me $54. All of the employees I encountered were polite, friendly, and professional. read more

Nice people on the surface but VERY chaotic for a Quick lune place. No one seemed to know what we needed to fill out just to get the oil changed.. When they finally figured that out they told us they would call us when the car was ready. We went and grabbed a bite at the local WhattaBurger . 45 mins passed (they told us 20-30) we walked back. Car was out of the garage and parked. Two guys let us into the office but the lady in the office was not there. We waited for a few minutes then started looking around for her. Finally made eye contact with her as she was in the middle bay vacuuming a car. She CONTINUED vacuuming HER car not a customer's! We made eye contact again and asked one of the guys if someone was working by the office. Waited a couple more minutes then someone told her there were people in the office. She finally came in after we were waiting 10 minutes for her to finish cleaning out HER own car. When she came in I asked her "Were you seriously just vacuuming your personal car for the last 10 mins while we waited?" Her response..."I didn't know you were in here!" I bit my tongue and just left. I will not be back here nor will I be referring anyone to this Jiffy lube. We came to this one because it had 4 stars on yelp! I'm surprised to see the good reviews below, I've been here on multiple occasions. $70 for an oil change supposed to clean windows and other items. Pay and go outside first thing I see Is a greasy hand print on the hood of my white vehicle. Then on the inside of my door and all over the steering wheel. So I go in and let the manager know be he comes out with a dry paper towel and smears the grease al around. I love jiffy lube. Literally every jiffy lube I've been to has been a GREAT experience and today was just that. I wish I had the names of everyone that was there when they did service to my Mazda. I had an awful experience at a snappy lube where they confused my transmission fluid with my oil and I knew the only sticker I'll ever have on my windshield will be a jiffy lube sticker. At jiffy lube I can fully 110% trust these guys with my car and leave with a big smile on my face and say thank you to the people who work on my car! read more

Another person waiting offered to help, then the lady at the counter finally listened and said yes to my question after I asked again, and pointed at the door. 56 dollars for an oil change, and charged me for anti freeze. No filter changes. Just way overpriced and rude. Didn't look too much into it before I went, since it's a jiffy lube. But since there are probably a million other places to pick from, I would avoid this one. Definitely won't be getting any other service from them again. On a Friday afternoon, my dealership said, "we can do your oil change. The wait will be a couple hours." I was on my way out of town a waited to the last minute. My oil gauge was at 10 %. I drove past here and they said, "we can get you out of here in 15 minutes." What a relief! The staff was all so friendly. I was really impressed with the cashier. I think his name was Devonte. He was very pleasant and didn't try to upsell me. The waiting room and bathroom were okay-- small but okay. The small waiting area worked quite well because people were in and out. They cleaned my car windows and vacuumed the carpet. I had a special request for them not to check my tire pressure because I just had them done. Coming to Jiffy Lube was a last minute decision and I was even able to use a $10 off coupon I found online while waiting. I paid $38. In past experiences with places offering fast service, they have tracked oil in my car, left oil finger prints, and messed with items in my car. I was worried but this did not happen here. They were respectful of my car's beige interior. Everything was as I left it. read more

I received excelllent service here in the past so I drove the 35 minutes just to return to this location; however, I soon regretted it. An oil change and tire rotation ended up costing me $180 !!!! Long story short, during the service a piece was broken off my car and after going back in forth with the manager, Patrice, it was eventually replaced that day. After being there stranded for 3 hours, I was told my car was fixed so off I go. A few miles down the road, I discover that my car still won't go in park and wouldn't turn off so it was not fixed....Mind you, it went in all gears just fine before I brought the car to be serviced. I returned to the store and the manager and a tech tinkered with my car again before announcing that they were unable to fix it( didn't know they were certified mechanics so don't know why they tried)and to take it to a mechanic and I would be reimbursed if it was their fault. I went straight to Leith and ended up having to pay a diagnostic fee to find out that the part had been installed incorrectly(mind you the car was in the bay the entire time and I remained in the waiting area sooo I obviously didn't install it). I contacted Ryan R. from Corporate and ensured that the documentation was sent over for reimbursement. He returned my call the following week, was very defensive and unwilling to investigate the issue further. He offered to only return the money in Jiffy Lube credit while denying the company installed the part wrong....so you're offering the credit just because your nice like that? Did I pay Leith Honda with a Jiffy Lube Credit? Who would want to come back to this establishment in order to use the credit? You've already shown me your strips......When I declined, he refused to discuss the case any further or allow me to speak to anyone else that could help me. Stay clear of this Jiffy Lube at all cost or it will cost!The manager, Patrice, is unprofessional and will lie to cover up her and her staff's negligence. Each location is individually owned so their isn't any uniformity or accountability. NEVER AGAIN!! I have used this Jiffy Lube location multiple times for annual emissions inspections and they've always been quick. Last week I discovered a nail in my tire as I picked my 4 kids up from school nearby. I chose to have JL patch my tire because of the short wait time... turned out to be the most expensive $30 I've ever spent. Yes, they patched my tire. However, the next morning when I went to set all my tire pressures and I cleaned all the brake dust off my rims, I discovered not just a scratch or two on my previously pristine rim. There were multiple HUGE scratches and nicks and even deep gouges in the rim that JL had worked on. It looked like someone had taken a screwdriver to parts of it! I was so mad I drove back to JL that morning after I dropped my kids off at school. While the assistant manager was polite, and correctly stated that she had not been there the previous day, all she would tell me was that the technician who worked on my tire told her that "he couldn't say whether the damage was there yesterday or not." I responded that I wished I had known I would need to photograph my car prior to letting them work on it. The assistant manager suggested I speak to Corporate, but I don't ever want anything else to do with JL. I thanked her for being polite with me and for listening when I knew the damage was not personally her fault, but I just wanted her to know that this is what is going on in her store. So I went here on Wednesday, June 28 to get my oil changed, state inspection, and my headlight bulb replaced. I had a Groupon for the oil change, so the total at the end was $95 and some change. When I got home, I realized my headlight wasn't replaced (even though I passed my inspection, so clearly they didn't even look). I called them and they told me to come back. I went back and waited and waited and waited and waited - not to sound snobby, but shouldn't their screw up be their first priority? Well, come to find out, my headlight is "dealer only" and they couldn't replace it. So the plan was to refund me my $95, then charge me again minus the $27 for the headlight. When they went to refund me my money, something happened and the transaction was declined. Another 20-30 minutes passed, they called someone at corporate who told me the reason the transaction was being declined is because it was still pending and shouldn't go through at all. I checked my bank account this morning and sure enough, $95 has been taken out. Also, the manager told me should would give me a call yesterday to see if everything had been worked out, I haven't heard from her. read more

We got there and was greeted by one of the workers who was pleasant and escorted us to the seating area. There was only one seat available so my fiancé and I decided to lean on the counter. This guy comes in and just goes off about how we came in at the last hour and how he needs to take care of everyone else first. We literally said ok, not sure why he is freaking out on us, and slide to the other of the counter to move away as much as possible from the register and the guy is still going on and about us coming in an hour before they closed. A few minutes later another gentleman who asked us about what oil who's was also incredibly pleasant! ( I felt like this should be noted) The same rude was the guy who rings us out, we give are coupon he rolls his eyes and continues ringing us out. This man was so incredibly rude for no reason.
