Every time I have been impressed with their professionalism and their quality work. When I needed both catalytic converters replaced on my car, I called several auto repair and muffler shops. Most said they wouldn't do the work on my car, and many quoted prices just slightly under what my dealer would charge. I finally called JR and they quoted me a much more reasonable price. I wanted to make sure they fully understood what I needed, as the other places made it seem like replacing the catalytic converters was some daunting task, but they told me it was no big deal and to bring it in. I bought my cats online, and they were happy to replace the parts and only charged me for labor. Afterwards, my check engine light went off, and all was good with my car. I've brought mine and my wife's car to JR's a few other times, and I've always been happy with the work. They are very welcoming, and do not pressure you into doing any unnecessary work. I would recommend JR Auto Repair to anyone who wants great customer service, quality work, and fair prices.

The guy on the phone told me they keep the same tires in front & the same in back. well, I just got another rotation elsewhere, & they told me my tires were terrible & had not been rotated in a WHILE. Very disappointing this company lied to my face & charged me for a service they didn't even provide. Will not be returning, very disappointing. Adding more since I just removed my cabin air filter. I also paid for my filters to be replaced, & judging by these pictures taken TODAY, these were not changed when I came in. I'm in absolute utter disbelief. Wish I could give a negative star review. I got to meet the owner, Steve, along with my car's new bff Pablo, who went above and beyond during what was scheduled as a simple service visit. He affixed my front license plate, cleaned the inside of my windshield (!), let me tag along on the test drive, and even brought me into the shop to see my car's underside once it was up in the air. How did he know I would absolutely love that? Little things mattered too: the waiting area was comfortable, clean, sunny, and quiet, with a thoughtfully planned garden out front. When I was looking to purchase a spare tire being these big rigs come without one) I certainly couldn't settle for anything less than what came on my rig. After speaking with a number of my fellow RVers who's opinions differ than mine, being it's just a spare and there are much cheaper options and it's likely that once you get to a service center you can have the original tire with the issue repaired or replaced so a spare is just a spare so save some money - to each his own I guess my mind doesn't work like that. I'll carry this tire unmounted being I would never attempt to change a tire of this size anyways, for one I don't have the equipment to do the work even if I wanted too and this spare tire can be mounted on any axel by the roadside assistance technician. This 275/80R 22.5 weighs about 114 pound off the rim and is about 40" in diameter and holds up to 120 psi (pounds per square inch) of compressed air, I run about 36 psi in my Jeep tires, these big rig tires requirement a professional. These tire aren't inexpensive but it's all relative - with Michelin's 700,000 mile or 7 year tread warranty it likely these tires will date code out long before they show much wear, at least in this application. There are lots of options out there but in my experience these guys are the industry's leader so I'll save my money and when it come time to replace all of my rig's tires I'll ante up and buy these again - for me it's all about trust, confidence and most importantly it's about safety and I'm not prepared to put a price on that...

I went to the another shop, one recommended to me for their integrity, who stated they would look for free and fix whatever they found. Turns out, there was no leak in the first place, and that the dripping had other explanations not requiring any expensive intervention. Chapel Hill Tire has lost my trust. Do not give these fearmongerers and scammers your business. Their shiny new interior is paid for by your dollars, once they scare you into paying for things you don't need. If anything, get a second opinion and a quote from another place.
