I was at my car's registration deadline and needed to get an inspection so last-minute I decided I'd just hop over here to get the inspection done. There were a couple of cars ahead of me so I didn't expect it to be as efficient as it was. Immediately had a guy come out to greet me and confirm what I needed help with. So while I waited I chose to organize my car rather than go into the typical automotive waiting room. It was time well spent! So when it was my turn they took my car in for the inspection and I went to the waiting room. It was mediocre, but not dirty. The chairs could be improved and the tv turned down. It was so loud. Maybe choose programming that is neutral and not some reality drama show rerun? I wish I got his name, but the guy who worked there (who also greeted me) was most pleasant. While he didn't greet me with a smile at first (I don't necessarily care about that), he made up for in conversation. He loved basketball and has a daughter he provides for. He was professional with the other patrons as well and seemed to show appreciation for our business. I'd recommend this location for sure! read more

Leesville location: TERRIBLE WORK and APATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE: I had an oil change performed, and the next day all of the oil leaked all over my garage floor and also covered the bottom of my car in the process. i had to put three quarts of my own oil in the car to safely drive it back up there. They cleaned the oil off the bottom of my car, but the manager was unapologetic and told me the oil change would not be reimbursed since it "had been performed." Laughable. Don't go here unless you're ok with incompetence and begging for basic customer service. read more

I can only speak to this location for completing inspections, not any other types of service, but 5/5 stars for required state inspection. Due to life and some family emergencies, I put my inspection off until the last minute. This was the only shop I found in the area that had an inspector available after 5pm. Super fast! Super friendly! Would definitely return for inspections. Prices for other services appear fair in light of inflation. Shop was clean and waiting area was no frills but comfortable. read more

I had been waiting for an oil change for some time. I asked the service manager if there was a problem as the vehicle was just sitting with hood up in bay. His reply was " Do you want me to drive it out with no oil ?" Excuse me... just RUDE He said it takes time it's not like washing dishes ‍. Never answered my question just continued to be a smart ass. Snappy Lube is certainly not Jiffy Lube. I had to wait an inordinate amount of time while the five crew members stood around watching one guy working some other customer's lights. Time is money and I just wasted mine waiting for these guys. Recommend you find someone else. read more

I have only gone to Snappy Lube for vehicle inspection and the occasional oil change. Never had any issues. They get my truck inspected and/or change my oil in a reasonable amount of time. Downside is that they only have 2 bays and little waiting space. The customer waiting area is also pretty weak. read more

I just returned from my local Snappy Lube service center and was charged $109.40 for 4.5 qts of synthetic oil, a filter and 15 minutes of work to replace it even though my receipt showed 13 different services that they claimed they performed but did not. I was standing there watching and none of these services were performed although I was charged the full amount. They did change the oil and filter but to charge for services that were NOT performed is outrageous! read more

My experience here was A-OK! I went to a Mr. Tire to get my yearly inspection and they said that while my brakes passed, the front brake pads really needed to be replaced. And they were going to charge $300 to do it. No thank you! I heard through a family friend that Snappy Lube was the most reasonably priced at $130, so I took my business there instead. I dropped my car off at around 9AM on Saturday morning and there was about a 45 minute wait until they could work on my car. So I told them what I needed done and left my car with them in line. I left them my phone number and went to do some other errands, because I hate wasting my weekend sitting in waiting rooms. They called me about an hour and a half later saying it was done. Simple and easy! Also, loved that they didn't try to get me to do anything extra to my car, because it is a bit of a beater and I'm sure they could have found something else to suggest. read more

Went for inspection and they would not pass it because of bogus made up reason (OBO plug "not secure") Reported to DMV, went to another NC inspection station and got a clean inspection 15 minutes later. read more

I've had my oil changed and cars inspected here for all our cars for about 15 years. Never had an issue. Like most oil change vendors they do up sell services. I turn them down and that's that. Multiple times they have accommodated special requests and they are OK with me bringing my own oil. They have failed my inspection on occasion but never when they shouldn't have. read more

Had my brake work done here. Afterwards there was a loud noise coming from the right tire when I drove. I took it back and they checked it out. Said everything looked good. Told me they couldn't do anything else. They really didn't care. Save yourself some trouble and go elsewhere. read more

Would not recommend. Way overpriced- about double the price of dealership pricing ($89.27 for a basic oil change) and you will be asked/told about thing that your car "needs" which range from $89 & up in pricing. The upscale tactics are ridiculous. read more

Would not recommend this place. Save yourself some time and go to a real mechanic. Took my car in for a quick inspection, there were two other people in the room waiting on the same thing, they failed every one of us for complete BS reasons. I paid $23 for them to fail my car. Took it to a REAL mechanic and guess what? Passed with flying colors. Go somewhere else. read more

If you want to be upsold on EVERYTHING when you only ask for "just an oil change" come to this location! My engine started ticking (carbon build up) and I was just coming to get my oil done to see if it could possibly be low oil or maybe an actual rod knock and it wasn't. Engine was still ticking. I was fine with that. What I wasn't fine with was being told I need to redo all my fluids and that my oil is sludgy and that my transmission fluid is bad. I'm not a paid mechanic with any certifications but I do a lot of my own work to my own car. What was embarrassing was that the idiot who tried to upsell everything to me confused the tranny oil with the engine and showed me the tranny oil and said "your car runs synthetic not conventional and you'll destroy your engine" I had to get out and prove to him he was wrong and all of his buddies that they didn't know what they were doing. After that I stood outside and made sure they didn't mess anything else up. This place is a poor excuse. And also 70+ for a oil change is absurd. This place is ridiculous. Awful staff. The only good thing was the fact that they had a good movie playing. That was it. The tv did a better job than the 3 stooges working on my car. read more

I've been taking my 5 cars/truck and my 2 motorcycles there for 10 years+, for inspections and the fluid changes I am too lazy or busy to do. I am pretty particular and knowledgeable, so can attest that the services performed were done right and fairly priced. I always go for the premium synthetic oils, and bring my own premium filters. They have been very courteous, and thorough (maybe a bit more thorough on the inspections than I would have preferred at the time, but they follow the state regulations and keep me honest. read more

I get my oil changed here regularly and I have never had any issue. And I think its really nice when they point out things that need my attention like new brakes or what have you. It shows the extra effort in my books because they aren't forcing me to buy something, just making a recommendation. I also bring my car here for inspections and if something is off, I get their recommendation, get the fix on my own terms or through them, come back and boom, passed for the year. They can get very busy and the guesstimate for how long an apt can be is usually reasonable based on your placement and any work they may already be doing. And for a place run by guys, the lobby and bathrooms are always clean and never seem raggedy to me. read more

I took my car here once and it was fine. The second time, I had oil dripping all over my driveway. I took it back with cell phone pictures of the oil stains and they said they "tightened things up". It still dripped. I took it back to the dealer and they said there was no washer installed and they used the wrong bolt for the car. I will never go back. Buyer beware! read more
