Wonderful experience coming in to get my car inspected! kind staff, quick and inexpensive!

Had to put air in the front passenger tire three times in a week, finally got a day off and brought my car in to see if they could patch the leak in the tire, and they said there was none. I told them there's no way there's not a leak in the tire, and they responded with the fact that it's cold out, that tires deflate. I wasn't born yesterday, and in fact I was born in New England where that happens often, but if that were the case, all of the tires would be affected equally however the only one that kept going to near flat was just the front passenger. It was a complete waste of time. I took the car to a Discount Tire on another day off after making an appointment and they patched it in less than half an hour for a decent price. Don't waste your money at this Jiffy Lube, they have no idea what they're doing. read more

Will never go back here - recommend the Jiffy Lube around the corner on Newton Rd instead. Very unfriendly with bad communication. I wound up leaving while waiting an inexplicably long time for my oil change despite there not being many cars ahead of me. read more

I went to the Jiffy Lube on Six Forks Rd to have my vechile inspected. I was told to park my SUV behind a car that was in front of the inspection lane and put my registration on the dash board. And without a please or thank you. I waited in the lobby for 15 or 20 minutes. The car was pulled up but no one was inspecting it. 1 car was finished and drove off, another car owner had questions that did not make sense and one of the workers was in the garage explaining to her why the tires did not need to be rotated. My SUV did not move at all and it looked it would be another 2 vechicles would be in line before mine. I waited another five minutes and then walked to my SUV and some guy asked me if I was taking off and I said yes. So I drove off. The lady in charge should have told me how long it would be before they could inspect my SUV, not knowing and not being respected as a customer just made it uncomfortable. read more

Will have to bump these guys up! It was time for a NC state inspection again, as well as an oil change. (Ssshhh, don't tell my dad that I went here for an oil change...) They were quick with the oil change and the inspection, and they honored my request to see the oil bottle first (my German machine requires specific oil). I was happy with the service and the time. I'm not sure that I'd go with the whole Signature Service...they left streaks on my windows and they don't know how to reset the "Service Now!" reminder...as many cars as they change oil for, I'd think that's something they should know. I looked it up online and was able to reset it myself. read more

Initial impression was the staff was friendly. There was no wait and I was surprised to have my car back in less than 10 minutes. As I got into my car I could see that they didn't take the time to vacuume and clean windows as it states on my service check list was completed. That's one of my deciding factors when choosing jiffy lube over other competitors is the perks of their guaranteed complementary services. I used to come here and the service was quick and reliable. This time came for oil change and tire rotation. Only 2 people working so could only do 1 car at a time and for 10 minutes the 2 employees argued in the waiting area about time off while no one was working on cars. Person who came after me left. At the end told me could not do tire rotation because lever was broken. So there for over an hour with only 1 car in front of me and all they did was an oil change and AC filter change. Unfortunately will not be returning to this location that was once really good. read more

So disappointed in this location. We visited them about 6 months ago, and they were wonderful. Returned for an oil change and asked them to check our brakes, and we were informed the brakes all needed to be replaced, and the rotors should be replaced because it would be easier on the mechanic to just do it all at once. They quoted us around $600. We decided to get a second opinion, and thank goodness we did. We were in and out of our second opinion in about 20 minutes because the shop found that the pads were only 1/2 worn, and had plenty of life left in them. Please use caution when asking for the opinion of this shop on a repair that will benefit them financially. read more

On 11/15/21 at approximately 3:45pm I went to the Jiffy Lube on 7210 Six Forks Rd Raleigh, NC 27615-6159. I asked the worker if I could get my front brakes serviced today. He said, "Yes but it would be cheaper for you to go to AutoZone to buy the brakes and have us put them on for you." I told him I didn't really care how much they cost, I just needed them done today if possible. He then said, "We would have to order the parts which can take a couple of days and then you'd be paying for the ordering plus the parts plus the labor. You'd be saving $200. Besides we get off in an hour...actually 2 hours. So if you want them done today that's what you have to do." So I went to the AutoZone and bought the brake pads that I needed. It literally took me less than 15 minutes. When I returned the workers started to pull me forward because they remembered me. Suddenly, an older man that I didn't see earlier started yelling at the workers that they couldn't put someone else's parts on. He then walked up to my window and told me that his worker had misinformed me and that they would not be able to put on the brakes. He then told me that the guy that does brakes isn't even working right now and that I would have had to come back tomorrow anyways. He didn't apologize at all. All I said to him after being told this was, "Alright. It's fine. Thank you." Then I left. I just felt like so much of my time was wasted on whatever shady practices this Jiffy Lube does. If they don't work with parts not bought through them then why was the worker so confident when telling me exactly what to do? Why didn't the other workers question what was being told to me when I first arrived? I honestly would not have went out of my way to buy new brakes from the AutoZone if I thought there was any chance at all that I would not be able to get them put on at this Jiffy Lube. The worst part is that the older man (who I assume is the manager) basically treated me like I was attempting to do something shady or underhanded. He basically told me that he didn't care that I was acting on what was told to me by HIS employee and that I was out of luck. He then told me to take my brakes to one of the many shops on Fall of Neuse Rd and have one of them put them on for me because there was nothing they could do for me now. I called my husband and explained the situation. He then called the Jiffy Lube as spoke to the manager. The manager told him that I could just return the new brakes to the AutoZone and then bring the car in tomorrow and they could order the parts and put them on for me in about 2 hours. Why didn't he tell me that? It made me feel like he just didn't want to help. I don't understand why because I only spoke 5 words to him and I didn't show my frustration at all and was extremely polite. This has really hurt my view of Jiffy Lube and I will be writing reviews wherever I can and telling all of my family and friends to avoid this place. They don't care about their customers at all and don't can't even take accountability for their mistakes. They just make you feel like a criminal for doing what you were told. read more

For oil changes this place is great. I went to have my front brakes replaced in September and they were great until January when I started to get this awful sound when braking. Ended up taking it to a dealer to have it looked at and it turned out they used cheap brakes. They ended up loosening my calipers and now I have to pay $300 for everything to be fixed. Basically took my money. Tl;dr- only get an oil change here and even then you need to be careful. read more

My husband and I went to get oil changes for both of our cars and I have to admit I thought it was going to take a long time because it looked like they were on break but then Dra came out and greeted us and walked us into waiting room and I could tell he said something to his co workers to get them in gear. Both cars were completed quickly and Dra explained to us what was done and a few things he saw that we needed in the future...Great customer service...My husband thanked him and said he was an awesome manager and he just smiled and informed us that he wasn't the manager he was just doing his job...Great guy...He should be a manager!!! read more

Took my car into Jiffy Lube after driving into Raleigh from Charlotte. I was leaving to go out of town the next day so i was uneasy about leaving it. The service I received was very professional and extremely helpful. Dylan went above and beyond to keep me updated on the status of my car while I was away. He was so nice and really made sure I was properly informed and taken care of. Although Jiffy Lube was not equipped to fix the issue of my car, they gave me a diagnosis and provided me with numbers and services of other places that could. Do not go to this Jiffy Lube. I needed inspection on my vehicle. Two clowns were working at the Six Forks Road location. They pulled my vehicle in, hit the accelerator a few times with the emergency brake on, (the car didn't move), pulled my vehicle out and told me I would have to get Meineke to fix my emergency brake. I was shocked at all of it! I took my car around the corner to a different Jiffy Lube and passed inspection. read more

I took my car in for an NC State inspection. The first time it failed, and I was told I had to pay $23. 75 and when I came back for a re-inspection, the cost would be $6.25. I had the issues fixed and brought it back. They then charged me $16.25 for window tinting. I have owned this car 7 years and have never paid $10 for window tinting. I tried to have the gentleman take the charge off, but he insisted he had to charge me for it. Then as I was leaving he handed me the inspection form, which stated that they didn't even enter the information into the state database. On top of that, after the initial inspection, they left greasy footprints on my floor mats. I would not recommend going here. read more

I drove in and had extremely low expectations. My other experience with other locations were okayish as they constantly tried to offer service that I don't need (basically, sucking money out of the customer). I went to the Jiffy Lube on Newton Rd in Raleigh today to get my car inspected. They were incredibly fast, efficient, and polite. They vacuumed the front seat area and washed the outside of my windows. They opened doors for me and said thank you a bunch of times. The inspection was finished in no time. I realized when I got in my car that I'd left my water in the waiting room and they brought it to me in my car. All exemplary service for a car inspection. read more

I always come here. Not only because I work at Vertical Urge right next to it, but because I always get quality work done. They are fast, reliable, and always have tips for me and my VW. But my last visit is what really made me want to leave a review... The manager, James Jones, went above and beyond to help me during my visit. I only went in for an oil change, but he took the time to fix my sun visor that was loose and also told me what to do about my leaking washer fluid. Went in to get service done Sunday while in service I was asked if I wanted to buy wiper blades I told them no I have wipers already and they didn't push the issue. After I left the next morning I went out to my car and started it up. I wiped the windows and the driver side would not clear after some time I noticed the rubber price was missing from my blade I called the jiffy lube not even looking for them to replace the blade I just wanted to hear I apologize. I talked with a zack he said he was the manger and once I told him I called about a missing rubber piece off my wiper blade the manger got very defensive and started to argue with me. Extremely disappointed in the customer service at this location. Was quoted an hour and a half for new break pads. I received no phone call to let me know they didn't have the right parts. Tried calling for 2 hours from a restaurant up the street where I was waiting, but the phone was off the hook. When I showed up at closing my car was still up in the garage with no parts. I had to get a ride home (30 minutes away). I was still not contacted the next day to be informed my car was done. They refused my request for any type of discount and offered no remedy to smooth over the situation. read more

Great customer service! Even though I'm vehicle-ignorant they explained everything in terms I could understand and did not take advantage of my unfamiliarity with vehicles. They were fast and more importantly efficient. I had an oil change, tire rotation, and window treatment finished in less than 15 minutes. I will be coming back here for my auto needs. read more
