Seth and his team are great! They are friendly and do excellent work for a fair price. They consistently exceed my expectations! North Hills Tire Pros have been servicing my cars for 5 years. When I got new tires, Seth actually gave me a price on 60K warranty tires that was lower than I had estimated it would be! When my 2008 Mazda3 blew a head gasket, Seth inspected the car, and advised me to get another car. He did not charge for that inspection. He offered to also inspect my new-to-me 2016 Mazda3 for free before I purchased it! I brought it by on the test drive and he fit me in to his schedule. Tried to make an appointment on a Thursday afternoon using their reservation system. Was given an option of contact back by text or email. Selected text contact back. Received an email confirmation of my request. I was never contacted--it's been 4 days now. Drove by the place Saturday morning after 45 hours had passed since my request, and I put on my best "I looked lost and need help face." No one greeted me, just walked past me, so I left. It looked like they had more business than they could handle, which for them I guess is a good thing. I realize North Hills is exploding with people now, but I drove to a discount tire place in Pleasant Valley, and I got really good service there. read more

The employees here are all friendly and go above and beyond to ensure a good experience. I ran into some issues with my synchrony car care card and they problem solved and realized it had to be ran on the back computer and not at the front register. They do allow appointments and walk-ins. The service really fast but there's several of stores you can walk to if you have errands, coffee shops, and restaurants to go to while you wait. read more

This business in the heart of North Hills Raleigh is not just a gas station. The folks that operate this store are amazing. Car repairs, tire fixes and replacements are done quickly, correctly, and inexpensively. You can't go wrong when you need work done on your vehicle. They may not be the cure all for any repair but I have lived in N H for three years and they are my first line of defense. My Audi SQ5 is fun but it eats tires like they were cupcakes. Hats off to Seth and Chrissy for this great business and saving me more times than I can count. read more

Used to be a good place and would get good service here, recently took my truck in to get the AC fixed. Told the shop the ac condenser fan isn't running while in idle as it should be, they tell me it's belt driven and doesn't have a fuse (which is totally incorrect) and tell me they pumped it with Freon to the correct level and that it is fixed, go to pick the truck up and it isn't fixed. Absolute waste of time, told the shop what I thought was wrong, and they told me my diagnosis was wrong. Terrible customer service, I hate that you have to interface with a gas station clerk that knows NOTHING. Will not be returning here. read more

Don't waster your time and money and don't set your foot in this horrible service shop. Seth, the service manager, is totally rude, uncaring, unprofessional and arrogant. After talking with Spencer at the service shop last week and after describing him my car symptoms and problems, he asked me to make an appointment and told me that he would put the car on the lift and test drive it at no charge to see how bad the problems are and advise accordingly. So I showed up today per my appointment and the service manager Seth refused to do anything that Spencer stated without first paying him $98 plus tax. I told him what Spencer said and he said he does not care what Spencer said. I told him he wasted my time and effort of driving there and back for half an hour each one way. Seth refused to acknowledge that it is his responsibility to train his staff, including Spencer, as to how and what to communicated to the customer so that customers do not waste their time based on false statements made by his employees. I pointed out to Seth that he and Spencer are being paid for their time and I did not get paid for the my wasted hour. Seth was totally rude, unprofessional and arrogant, and he continuously kept talking/shouting over me, and told me never to come back again. I requested him to pass the message to the owner Mike to call me so that I can talk with Mike who hofully would understand customer's point of view. Cars are SO not my thing. So it's hard to get me excited enough about getting my car serviced that I would say "Yay I'm a fan," which is why I would give this place 3.5 stars. But these guys do solid work every time I bring in my car. The people are really friendly, and I don't ever leave feeling like I got ripped off or taken advantage of due to my lack of car knowledge. I did have one experience at this location about 3 years ago where they forgot to put the oil cap back on after an oil change, but they made up for it by fixing and paying for the issues that it caused. I also love its convenience! Since it is located at North Hills, instead of waiting in a boring waiting room, I have the freedom to shop, eat, or run errands. They do have a TV in their waiting room for those who don't want to venture out. I brought my car in on a Friday after work for a state inspection, oil change, tire rotation, and to get my windshield wipers replaced. I dropped off my car and went home expecting it to take at least a couple hours for everything to be completed. I was pleasantly surprised to find it only took an hour! I will continue to return to this location for my car needs, because the service is great and the people are friendly! read more

I was honestly prepared to wait an hour or more, like you would at any other Maintenance shop. After all, I called in right after 5 o'clock when rush-hour was starting to pick up. The girl at the front desk was really nice and definitely made my day better seeing that it was going downhill. The guy that repaired my tire was incredibly fast, easy to talk with, and very knowledgeable. This shop blew away all my expectations and definitely has become a place that I will recommend to any and all in need of tire repair/services. The whole process took around 16 minutes, and this was not during a slow time.. they were busy and had people coming in with appointments already scheduled. Meanwhile, I walked out from my workplace to a completely flat tire, called a place I've never been to, and ended up finding a new favorite maintenance shop. read more

I recently called about an inquiry regarding oil change, however, staff (female) at the front desk who answered was extremely rude and abrupt when asked about the exact price for a full synthetic oil change service. Costumer Service is extremely terrible. Sounds like they don't need us. Stay aware and clear from this place. You describe better. You're not a cookie cutter. Other places are much more deserving of your attention and money. I can definitely promise that. read more

This is by far the best service station. Absolutely spotless. Welcoming. Dallas and Amanda were so kind!! While waiting for my daughters boyfriend to return with the vehicle they let us sit in the wait area instead of out in the 93 degree heat. This Exxon station is conveniently located. Prices are right about in the middle to high end for brand name gas stations throughout Raleigh. However, if you're in North Hills and low on fuel, it's the only option and pretty conveniently located. Enter/exit from Six Forks Rd. instead of Lassiter Mill Rd. if you're in a vehicle with low ground clearance (if you can). The Lassiter Mill Rd. entrance is a bit steeper and has about 2 or 3 inch uneven bump. The great thing about this station is the air pump. Unlike most gas stations that have a pump that takes coins and it's a race against the clock to get to all your wheels, this one is always on and runs continuously. They charge $1 but it doesn't shut off on your until you're done and it's high pressure so filling your tires takes no time at all. read more

As a single girl in Raleigh I have always been very pleased with the guys here at North Hills Exxon. They are always friendly and never make me feel like I'm an idiot because I don't know much about cars. They take the time to explain to me what's going on with my car and they always make sure to answer my questions thoroughly. I've never felt rushed. I always feel like they tell me like it is and never beat around the bush or charge me before telling me what they are going to do. My last visit my car needed brake work so they let me use their loaner car so I didn't have to sit at the shop for a few hours. I recommend them to everyone. read more

This is the most horrible service station i have ever been to. I went to North Hills Exxon for a simple state inspection. I was previously at my mechanics shop which my family has known for over 25 years. Their inspection machine was not communicating correctly with the DMV that day so they could not send my information on to the DMV to fully pass the inspection. Everything was fine with the car. So i went to North Hills Exxon for the inspection. They told me that my front right brake caliper was leaking brake fluid. HMm. Thats funny i just left another shop and everything was fine. The mechanic then went on to tell me it would be ONLY $55 to fix it, said he could order that part and it would be here in an hour. Me being smart i called that a lie, paid my 24 dollars and took it back to my familys shop. Left the car there told them that exxon said the front right caliper was leaking. They called me back the next day after their inspection machine was fixed AND TOLD ME THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH THE BREAK AND THEY TAMPERED WITH IT. YES THATS RIGHT EXXON SABOTAGED MY BREAK CALIPER TO TRY AND CHARGE ME AN EXTRA $55 BUCKS FOR A "PROBLEM". Exxon said they needed to order a part, that was aCOMPLETE LIE. THE CAR WAS FINE. EXXON IS OUT THERE ROBBING PEOPLE AND CREATING PROBLEMS ON CARS THAT NEVER EXISTED. DONT BE A VICTIM. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES read more

I left my BMW 535i yesterday with them, they only had to take a flat tire off and install the spare tire (with the right tools a 15 minute job...), he told me it could take 1 hour to an hour and a half.. I said ok and left the car. I came back 1 hour and 40 minutes later to find my car just as I left it... when I asked what happened he said; oh we where going to call you when it was "ready"... I told him I had to be some where, that I would do it my self then, he answered; ok and brought me the keys. I changed the tire with out any power tools like the ones they have in under 20 minutes... worst customer service I've experienced in years and extremely unprofessional manager. Even doy I live in north hill will never go to that gas station/car shop again... read more

So it's Tuesday of the NC gas shortage 2016 and I'm running low. Called around all morning, no gas anywhere until I called this particular station, "We're almost out, come quick." I quickly drove over and when I pulled in, the manager came over to let me know they were shutting down the pumps. Now I was in a jam. He saw the look on my face and told me to pull around to fill up. I was the 2nd to last customer (he let another desperate looking soul in behind me). I made sure to shake his hand afterwards. A small kind gesture from this man helped me out a lot. I'm going to make this my new regular gas stop once the shortage is over. read more
