I wanted to have some mods installed on my M235i - replacement charge pipe, boost pipe, high performance intercooler and catted high flow downpipe. Their work was perfect, done on time and works perfectly. I found their service style to be easygoing and friendly, and it was quite simple really. They also paid attention to the charges because replacing an intercooler means you're already disconnecting the charge and boost pipes, so that was all taken care of correctly in the bill. They are better value than dealers, but don't expect them to be cheap - they're just cheaper. BMWs aren't cheap so no surprises there. I recently bought a '98 E36 Convertible that looked promising and in good condition from a private seller, but within 3 hours of ownership I had a blown head gasket and messed up cooling system and ended up stranded on the median of I-40. This was my first BMW and I'd researched Indy BMW shops prior to purchase to have a go-to spot, and while a lot sooner than planned, I called BPC and had my new purchase towed to their lot. They essentially did a PPI and diagnosed everything they could find without being able to start the engine. Windows were also locked up and stuck rolled down, so they very kindly rolled my car in and out of the garage every night to prevent further damage and keep my car safe until I could bring a cover over (my car sat on their lot for about 2 weeks). Jackson Blackwell is f'ing amazing and kept in communication with me and was always happy to chat with me extensively about my options and offered friendly advice in an otherwise unpleasant, stressful situation. Also worth noting that as a relatively inexperienced car enthusiast, Jackson never once was condescending or impatient like I've experienced at other shops before and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable asking lots of questions. I had a full estimate and inspection report within 48 hours even with an unexpected appointment dropped on them, and they explained everything in detail and also were incredibly helpful working with my insurance to see if anything would be covered--Jackson even offered to start calling my unresponsive insurance agent himself to get this headache off my plate when I still had trouble getting in touch with them after a week. Unfortunately, I decided to have the car towed to my house because the extensive repairs (unsurprisingly) far surpassed the purchase price of and will attempt them myself with a more experienced friend. That being said, if I could've, I would've had them do all the repairs without a second thought! I will most definitely bring the car in and any future BMWs in for service and any other work, and would HIGHLY recommend BPC for anything BMW-related. They clearly know their stuff and are passionate about BMWs, and are just good people (even the tow truck driver said they're great when I told him where we were taking it)! Went there for brake service today. Brought my parts in early in the AM and they had me out the door in a jiffy. Not sure how quickly things work when you're depending on their parts (I brought my brakes to them and just had them put them on) but I'm sure they'd do a great job. I liked that the shop was clean, there's a little sitting area/office and they actually have a computer that they let you use if you need it but had wifi for me to use as well with my laptop. The waiting area is right next to the shop so I could peek in to see how my car was progressing. It was different from the hustle and bustle of the dealership and it felt more personal since there weren't 100 million cars there. The work they were doing wasn't the most difficult (new brakes) but I appreciated having people who are used to servicing BMWs (just take a look at the parking lot and you'll see all the BMWs waiting there) working on it, especially considering the price was totally fair and not "stealership" level. I'll definitely be returning in the future to get work done on my car. Hopefully not so soon though! read more

I purchased a tune for my car on their website, it said I would receive a specific device " BPC iFlash Cable" that would upload the tune to my car along with other features such as reading and resetting fault codes. They shipped the first package and the day it arrived I got an email saying that the tool was not programmed correctly, and they would send another one. Received the new one several days later and what I received was a "myGenius" tool which does not have those extra capabilities. No one from BPC told me that I was going to get a different tool, or make sure that I was ok with the change to the order. To make matters worse when I uploaded the tune to my car it does not even work right, and the car barley drives and there are several new fault codes that were not there before. I place the order on 4/25 and finally received all the equipment and uploaded the disappointment of a tune on 5/7. Staff is slow to respond to emails and generally unconcerned about the experience of their customers. Not upfront and had a lot of excuses when things went wrong, at least they agree to refund my purchase. read more

I took him to pick up his pride and joy and the only thing he has to look forward to these days after his radiation treatment since he's battling cancer and the asshole who drove his car out, parked it and my father asked for the keys he told my father "I have no idea who you are I'm not giving you the keys you need to go inside to get them, which I turned around and did. Great group of guys! I had some strange light come on - explained it to Dan and he knew immediately what it was. I was able to bring the car in next day and they immediately took it in to start work! They diagnosed the issue (Dan was right about the problem) and were able to have everything completed in 3 hours. Best experience I ever had at a auto shop!!! Very up front about the problems with my BMW and the cost. Dropped the Key off on Thursday and was called on Friday to come get it... drives better now than when I bought it... they definitely have my business when it comes to BMWs. Dan's the Man! If you're looking for a BMW mechanic look no further. I like to tinker on my cars; its just one of my hobbies. But when there's a problem that's beyond my skills thats when I turn to the Pros. I apologize beforehand for this lengthy review but i just want to make sure what really happened and hope this will help other people when looking for a good & trustworthy mechanic. Few months ago my 745 started leaking oil. I went to this OTHER Bmw mechanic and had them fixed the problem. The following day I noticed that my car was still leaking oil and the check engine light was on. I knew there's something wrong cause the engine and the car starts to shake when it's on idle. To make the story short, after replacing my Valve cover gaskets, Mass Air meter, timing cover gasket & alternator housing gasket changed they still could not figure out why the engine light is still coming on. I was very frustrated. So started searching on the web & that's when Dan (the owner) & his crew came to save the day! After Dan inspected and did a thorough test on my car he knew exactly what was going on. The way he explained and showed me why the check engine light keeps coming on and why the engine shakes made sense. His ability, knowledge for these cars and sophisticated equipments are far more impressive that I've seen in any garage. So Dan told me to take it back to the OTHER mechanic and tell them what Dan said. And when I did, the owner of the OTHER mechanic felt so embarrassed because he knew that Dan was right it's just they didn't have the right equipment and skills that Dan has. So to make me feel a little better he reimbursed me on some of the fees that they previously had charged me :) and so through Dan's advise they were able to fix the problem :) Lesson learned - not all Bmw mechanic are the same. Having these sophisticated cars needs the right sophisticated equipments. And Dan's got em! As long as I have this Bimmer - Bimmer Performance will always have my back :) read more

I needed a quick repair Friday when my 330 broke down with a blown out coolant reservoir suddenly late Thursday. The guys squeezed me into the schedule for Friday so I could have my car back for the weekend. The pricing for the repair including parts and labor was excellent. The service was excellent and completed as promised. The staff are all great. On top of all that, I swear I got the best car wash my car has seen in a very long time; even the wheels were spotless! Extremely disappointed and can not recommend to anyone. I am writing this review as we used the reviews written in deciding to take my husband's X5 to Bimmer Performance. My husband had his front axles replaced by Bimmer Performance. One month and one week later, we had to have his vehicle towed due to c-clip on axis popped off. One week later, the vehicle had to be towed again due to the same problem. Bimmer Performance replaced the axles again. We also had them replace the valve cover gasket due to a leak. We still noticed oil leaks so we took it back. They said they could not find a leak. We have now taken the vehicle to a dealer who notes the valve cover gasket is still leaking and needs to be replaced. We have 3 BMWs and have owned 5 and good maintenance and upkeep is essential. read more

The guy in the front is a nice guy but that is about all I can say that is good about this place. I brought my BMW 2003 325i in for an oil leak and the fact that my car hesitates on acceleration. I think they fixed the oil leak but the hesitation continues to be a problem. They charged me $90 for the diagnostic and replaced the spark plugs and the cyclone separator. I brought it home and experienced the hesitation again. I brought it back to them and this time, they reprogrammed my car and again charged me for another diagnostic fee of $90 which I reluctantly paid. I shouldn't have to pay for the second diagnostic fee but they insist that it was not the same problem. How can it not be? So whatever they replaced the first time may not have needed replacing. When I paid the second diagnostic fee, I asked whether they are going to charge me for another diagnostic fee if the car is not fixed and the guy said probably not. So a few months passed and I called them about the same issue, he said that he will have to charge me again for the diagnostic fee (WTF). I dropped almost $1900 at this shop and still got the same damn problem. They can't seem to fix my car but want to keep on charging me for diagnostic fee and replace parts that I may not need. He even told me that he will have to continuously throw parts at my car until it is fixed. This is ridiculous. Needless to say, I am bringing my car to another shop. This shop not only does not have the expertise but is greedy. After spending $1900 at the shop, they still want the diagnostic fee for a problem which they should have fixed the first time. My experience with Bimmer Performance Center was very negative. When I dropped off my car, I clearly indicated the problem I was having with it, and the technician assisting me wrote it down to make sure they knew what to work on. I was given assurance that the car would be ready in a couple of days, but I had to call after a week to see whether they had done anything to it. The answer was no. The following day, I received a call from Dan, who initially apologized for the delay, then proceeded to tell me that it had taken a great deal of time to find the problem which was located within the component I had specified when the car had been dropped off. He also said that it would have been much easier to fix the problem had he had known where the issue was in the first place, this despite the fact that I had clearly indicated the source of the problem the day I took the car to them. Cost-wise, the fix was cheap, but I ended up getting charged with a ton of labor which I thought was a rip off. On top of it, the front seats, the dashboard, and the console between the seats were all covered with grease smudges, and the central air vent was broken as one the plastic clips that holds it in place had broken while the car was being repaired. Next time, I'll make sure to take my car to a more reputable place where I know I can count on service and professionalism. read more
