Inspection done, everything checked and passed, very cheap inspection but also high quality for the money spent. I got everything I asked for. I when to get state inspection and they broke off my gas cap holder. They didn't apologized worker and manager told me what's the big deal. I told them big deal is you broke off so, I want you to put original way it was then he try to puy zip tie. I told them you broke off you fixed. They told me car is worth 10k or 80k we will treat them equal and never apologize until I told l told them you broke. Then they told me i make big issue out of $1or $2. I told them issue is you broke someone else property without apologized. This place is dishonesty. They do not deserve even one star. read more

I had low air in my back right tire and saw this jiffy lube on the way home and decided to stop in. I pulled into the back and Darryl came out and kindly greeted me, he made me aware of them being closed for lunch and then proceeded to take me in the garage and filled my tires with air no charge! Such a sweet person and recommended me to a discount tire to help inspect possible valve malfunction and replacement. This jiffy lube is just like all the others I have been to, GREAT! I came in to get my break lights replaced because I realized I couldn't do it myself, I asked them if they could use the bulbs I had gotten to do them with and they said I got the wrong ones but did a trade with me for the right ones, they checked to see if I needed an oil change and were honest with me and told me I didn't and they topped me off with some coolant! Pulled in to get an inspection, great, no wait as there was not another car in sight. After waiting several minutes an employee strolled out, still staring at his cell phone. I told him I needed a car inspection. He replied " I don't have an inspector here right now". I asked why there wasn't a sign out front stating that, so I didn't waste my time. He just replied "sorry" then turned and walked away. Poor customer service. I will not return. I found a much cleaner, more polite inspection station just North of these guys. read more

Several coils and spark plugs broke in my car, and I was desperate to have it fixed, and fast. Every other auto shop would have made me drop my car off and wait, or schedule an appointment days in advance. But the crew down here at Jiffy Lube got me, finished my car that day, and had me on my way. They figured out the problem was more than just a single cylinder misfiring, and barely charged me extra for the extra parts and effort that went into to fixing my car. I needed to have my car inspected and the guys pulled up my Vin number and found that it was time for the oil change. I looked at my sticker and they were absolutely right. They also showed me my air filter, which was extremely dirty. The friendliness and knowledge of the guys at Cedar Park was refreshing. Jr and Ben were especially great! Do not take your car to this place. I took my car to this place to have an oil change and since my car is already at 75000 miles they recommended that I change the transmission fluid, so I did. This was on Saturday (2-5-22) on Sunday I did not move the car more than 4 miles, I just went to put gas and go to church. But today when I was returning from work, I noticed that the car had smoke coming out of the hood, so I checked it and noticed that the transmission was leaking fluid. When I saw the dripping, I still wasn't worried, I thought maybe it was just a loose nut or something that hadn't been tightened. But when I got there, the man that was there, almost immediately told me that it was the transmission and that they couldn't do anything, so he recommended to take my car to a mechanic. When I asked him if they were going to pay for the mechanic's services, his answer was "Of course not, other people have brought us cars with transmission problems and they wanted to blame us." I could not believe I was getting this kind of service. The man did not even recap my transmission fluid. I called someone who is suppose to be the supervisor, but he never answered his phone. At this point, I don't know if they are going to fix the problem they created, or if I will have to sue them. read more

Note to self: Never, ever let my mother drag me out of bed, with five minutes to get ready, and make me get my oil changed. It's just a bad idea. This being said, I wound up at this Jiffy Lube one recent sunday morning looking a lot like Ke$ha, which, translated, means I looked like I hadn't showered in days, the hangover was slightly overbearing, and I had actually forgotten my shoes. MY SHOES! I never realized how absent-minded I could be until this trip. So, Starbucks in hand, and as barefooted as I was, I gave Jiffy Lube a go. I was delighted to see that the manager looked just as disoriented as I did, he had obviously been woken up by his mother five minutes before his shift started as well. Or maybe it was just a bad hair day, eh. But, despite this, he seemed like he knew his bearings. He got right in there and switched out my oil with little upselling. For the record, I hate upselling. It's my biggest pet peeve. This man only mentioned that my air filter could need replacing, and me, not in the mood to spend any more money then I already had, politely declined, and he left it alone after that. Now that, is my kind of mechanic. I got out having only spent around $40, and I feel like that's a reasonable price. It was a good experience, I'll definitely be back. Do not go here, unless you don't care. I went in for a oil change on my dually, and before arriving I spoke to them on the phone about social distancing. It sounded good, I stay in car they do oil change and then I take off. So I show up, ready to do the oil change, first things, guy is not wearing a mask, so I begin to take my own precautions, then he starts coughing indefinitely around my vehicle, so I roll my window all the way up and decide this isn't the place to do my oil change. He had no care, he would cough then walk up to my window and try and talk to me like he didn't. He coughed in the air, didn't even cover his mouth or anything. Stay Safe People. read more

Worst experience. I went for inspection and inspection fail. After I fixed that issue and went for re-inspection they refused me to take my car for inspection. I am trying last three days they say some reason and not doing inspection. Worst place don't go there for any reason. I think all 5 star ratings are payed ratings. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I tried to call so avoid wasting time and gas going there but no one answered. I drove down and was met by a pretty friendly guy who let me know that unfortunately the service I needed (registration inspection) couldn't be accomplished that day because the inspector doesn't come in on T/TH but that if I showed up 10am sharp the very next day I could be first in line. I showed up at 9:45 to make sure I would be there as directed. I was in a very small office that no one was servicing as a front desk person and 2 other people were there. One man was actually scaring me because he was talking incoherently but several things I heard were about being homeless and something about some kind of people (unintelligible specific as the voice was going high and low) should be shot and killed etc. He went out into the garage and paced and kept talking to himself. The other man was apparently there for a job interview as I found out by a worker (seemed to be manager) came inside finally and seemed to purposely ignore my attempt of eye contact and I received zero welcome or acknowledgement- he proceeded to invite the man waiting near me to go sit with him behind the desk and then I could hear the job interview take place! I waited for about 20 minutes and kept getting ignored when I tried to speak. I saw an employee in the garage so I went out and politely got his attention and luckily it was the man from the day before- he apologized for the man's behavior inside and told me that unfortunately the inspector is having personal drama and they didn't know when he would be in but I could wait for him- on this hot day NO WAY- but I did tell him no thanks and have a good day and thanked him for his help. I immediately looked on the government website for for alternative inspection places and called up Austin Automotive and received the most excellent care. It was a complete 180 from this place. I hate leaving negative reviews and how the world has been lately times are tough on businesses but times are hard for ALL of us right now and some basic human decency is the least we can provide each other. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE- and I won't be returning any time soon. Go check out Austin Automotive. read more
