Went Firestone to get an oil change at 6:15pm. the guy working the bay told me to pull around and go inside and I'd be taken care, there was a couple cars in the bays but no one waiting it was a complete ghost town, so I get to the counter as a paying customer... I was met by a preppy looking 20 something kid, who tells me that they aren't taking anymore cars today, I'd have to come back in the mornings or on Monday morning... felt a bit prejudice to me, I definitely won't be spending money with Firestone and I'll friends and family know to avoid them as well. read more

Hands down the best tire shop I have been to!! I was working in Austin and my car got a flat tire - I thought my day was shot as I also had to drive back to San Antonio later in the day - but this place turned my day around. They were very busy and told me expect 2/3 hours but took the car back immediately to check it out. I called an Uber but before the Uber could arrive / the tire was repaired!! The service was amazing and as my team all drive company cars - I immediately recommended this shop to them all as it was such a great experience! The staff was kind, and applied an online discount that I had missed out on by calling, without me asking! My two services took about an hour, and the waiting room was comfortable and had good wifi. Just left Firestone-very disappointed. I'm a frequent customer-I've been going to this Firestone location for several years-other locations for even longer-(I'm loyal). I even wrote a glowing review not too long ago. Today I took my wife's car to get an oil change and inspection. I was told about the amazing special on full synthetic (usually just get the standard or blend) but $25 for a full synthetic oil change was too good to pass up! I asked a couple times to confirm-must've been a misunderstanding and poor communication b/c I was charged over $100! The young lady helping me was very nice and recognized the error-so she spoke to her supervisor to see if there was a discount (I didn't ask) to make it right. The supervisor refused and offered nothing. Any discount would have been appreciated-not how I would treat a very long term customer. read more

I had an issue with one of my tires today, 4/8/25. I called them up and spoke to Enrique. He was pleasant and professional. I told him my issue and despite being full with appointments, I was allowed to bring my vehicle in to be serviced. Thankfully, it was a fix instead of a replacement. My positive review is not solely based on service of my vehicle, but the overall experience starting with the first phone call. I expressed how grateful I was when I went to pick up my car and the person behind the counter (I wish I knew his name!), spoke highly of management. I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 1:00pm, arrived 5 minutes early, and was told that they are starting on my car just now at 1:45pm. I understand it's not any one workers fault in particular or anything, but it is frustrating when there's a scheduling process that is clearly overbooked, if I wanted them to start on my car at 1:45 I would've just come in at 1:45. read more

I am writing with compliments for Priscilla. We recently had our car brought in as it would not start. As the Firestone staff dug into it more and more issues were discovered to the extent that we just could not afford to pay for it and buy a new car which was obviously what we needed to do. Priscilla worked with us, was patient, understanding and personable throughout the process. I've taken my cars to Firestone since the 90s and as a couple we've done so since the early 2000s. It is because of people like Priscilla and others there that make us come back through the years and moves. Thank you Firestone and Priscilla for understanding and treating us like humans. I got an oil change. I should have asked for the quote before I left after dropping off my car. That's on me. But when I was given the price I was fairly shocked by how much it was. When I went to pick up my car, I believe it was the manager, helped drop the rate down. It sounded like it was a misunderstanding of synthetic blend or not a blend. I know nothing about cars so I wasn't even aware that was a thing. I just needed an oil change! I appreciate the manager being understanding of where I was coming from, because my card would have certainly declined at the first rate. I could not have been happier with the service and the quality of the alignment. Right from the first phone call to the completion of the job the staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. They explained the different options, provided good advice, and post job, reviewed with me the modifications made to bring my truck into alignment. Although my truck was almost new, with less than 9,000 miles on it, the difference in handling was noticeable and I feel that it will definitely increase tire life and safety. My tire had low pressure. Brought it in, was told no issues with the tire. I told them repeatedly it was down right flat and I had to fill air. But they disagreed. Now I am back because the tire went flat as soon as I got home. Staff was nice upon my first visit. But this time around the same guy was extremely rude; slamming paper work, etc. Began to charge me for the tire, I told him I have warranty, he goes "what are you even talking about". I informed him I had purchased warranty, this should be covered, he checked the system and boom. He got annoyed further, goes "well you will have to wait for a very long time". Now I understand I came 45 mins prior to closing but I was asked to come in at anytime since the replacement tire was there from the warehouse. read more

However, the service I received today was so outstanding that price is not really on my mind. Team got my service issues resolved fully and timely. The store manage also took care of me on price and I really appreciate that gesture. He knew nothing of my previous experience or price concerns. They were fast and thorough. No up sales. Went in recently for the annual inspection. The men working the desk were very nice and got us all set in the system. They also suggested we go to Red Horn nearby while we wait. They gave us a call reasonably quick to let us know the cars were ready to go. We also thought pricing was reasonable (also got an oil change). The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was the check out process. The man who checked me out walked me through part of the inspection in relation to my tires. He started rattling off tire measurement numbers which meant nothing to me because I know NOTHING when it comes to cars. When I asked him if he could please explain to me he just said 'I guess just keep an eye on your tires'. Keep an eye on what about them!? I had to call my dad and have him tell me it was the tread wearing thin and how to tell when I needed new tires. Seemed like something the man could've easily explained to me? read more

It's a fairly new auto place behind goodwill. I had a flat tire on Sunday. Most auto place was closed on Sunday. I know Firestone opens every day. So I gave them the flat tire and don't know how much will cost me. Surprised to me, they only charged me $20 to fix the tire and also put it back on my car. Even remember to put more air to my spare tire without me asking them. Most auto place tried to trick female customers. They could say I need a new tire. But Firestone didn't trick me. Staff and technicians are transparent with work they are performing on vehicles, quick to answer calls and questions, and have applied coupons for me that I didn't know were available. I rarely make appointments due to my crazy work schedule but usually they are able to squeeze me in and have me out the door under 2 hours. The best review I can give this place is to tell you to stop reading and just come in and talk to Justin and his crew and let them wow you with their expertise and customer service. TSWR? (Too Short Wanna Read) Ok here goes! I like changing the oil myself but scored a free change at another place. The techs there over tightened the oil plug. I grit my teeth and called to get in and have it changed but they were full up. I asked Justin on the phone if he had any advice on loosening the bolt and he said to just come in and he'd get it loose for me. When he brought the car off the racks he noticed my air pressure light was on so he threw some air in my tires for me too. Simple easy things but they didn't have to do it. Cars are not good investments as we know so I've spent plenty of time looking for a good honest shop and I finally found one! You can tell in the way they do business here that their number one priority is helping. When I have things I can't fix on my own, this is where you will find me. Came in for a state inspection on a day they ended up having issues with their OBD machine. After waiting 45 minutes, they said the machine was fixed but my OBD test had failed. They offered to diagnose the issue for $100. Assuming there was a problem on their side, I took it to another inspection site a few days later to pass with flying colors. These guys took my $18 and blamed their OBD issues on my car. read more
