How's this for a best case scenario for car breakdown? My Pontiac Vibe suddenly wouldn't shift into any gear yesterday morning. So I looked around for someone to fix it and found HAMA. He came over this afternoon and was able to fix it even though nobody makes or sells that part anymore. He was great about communicating by text. He kept me in the loop the perfect amount, not spamming me with courtesy stuff, but also making sure I understood everything. It was nice to chat with him, but he also didn't need much attention. I didn't have to take any time off work and it was fixed for probably less money than it would have cost me to get it towed to a repair place. read more

Hama Mobile Mechanic Repair - replacing a bushing on the shifter - Auto Repair Near Me

One morning my car would not start. Since I am a seventy two year old woman and know nothing about car mechanical problems, I did a google search. The results indicated that it could be the starter, battery or alternator. I called Mohammed Najat owner of Hama. He came to my home and advised me that the battery cable was loose. Due to my lack of knowledge, he could have told me that it was the alternator or starter and it would have been an expensive repair. Instead he told me the truth and it was a very inexpensive repair. This is actually the third review I have ever written. I am writing this review because I thought it would be helpful to let people know that he is a honest, knowledgeable and reasonably priced mechanic. read more

This service is great. I used Hama several times and it always worked out and was super convenient. I have recommended him to others.

A friendly Professional mechanic at your service. Quality work at a reasonable price.

Thank you Hama for giving me my fun car back! Frank's couldn't make it work after 3 tried, but you fixed it 24 hours after I texted you, and in less than 2 hours. Nice work and a fair price. I look forward to more in the future. read more

Muhammad did a great job came out within an hour, properly estimated the time it would take, fix the problem which was a disintegrated bushing in the gear shifter. he generally seems very competent and straightforward . I got some lower estimate estimates for pricing from others but I don't know how well they would've done. I would use him again read more

WOW! Mohammed was incredible. I needed my alternator replaced (I already purchased it online, I just needed it swapped out), and he did it in just 1 hour! I shopped around and spoke with 3 companies. He was near the lowest price, was the fastest to respond, and was clear in his communication. He also showed up in the window of time that he promised. PLEASE call him if you need auto repair or roadside service! read more

Both of my cars have been worked on by Mohammed, he is an all around great guy! Super fair pricing VERY transparent. We hate having car trouble but love when we see him we get to catch up. Our first instinct is to call him when we have any issues and he always makes sure to answer quickly. He always provides great service and makes sure he fits us in his busy schedule where ever we might be. We will continue to use Hama for years and cars to come! read more

Hama Mobile Mechanic Repair - Mohammed is amazing & took great care of installing a Nismo spoiler on my Z. You won't find service as good as this. Book him immediately! - Auto Repair Near Me

They could actually apply to what was asked. Not state irrelevant nonsense like they are booked got this time.

Fantastic mobile mechanic. Mohammed was fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and kind. I very highly recommend his services!

10/10! Fixed my car timely and for good price. Very friendly and helpful! Would use again in the future.

Highly recommend! Nice guy, really knows what he's doing. He is honest and trustworthy and competitive pricing.

Muhammad came out to help figure out why my Mustang wouldn't stay running. He plugged his computer and quickly diagnosed the issue. The work required is something outside of what a mobile mechanic to fix. He tried several things that might have been a work around. He still only charged the agreed upon diagnostic fee even though he used some supplies from his van. I'll be keeping Muhammad in mind the next time I have the need of a mobile mechanic! read more

Excellent service and quick response. Kept me informed all throughout. Definitely will use again.

I called Hama on a Friday night around 7. I had an emergency situation where my car electrical got jacked up and the engine would not turn off, besides other major issues created by it. It was his day off, but he made an exception given the emergency situation. He was able to turn my car off until I could properly get it diagnosed by an electrical specialist. My car was not going to be easy for most mechanics. He is a good guy and was kind enough to show up to my house only 30 minutes after I had called him. I will use him again! read more

Mohammed was absolutely amazing to work with. My battery died and I needed a jump, and I also couldn't get my hood to open due to an accident I recently had. He responded to my request quickly and was at my location within a couple of hours. He was so nice, friendly, explained everything he was doing, and fixed the issue very quickly. He even readjusted the latch so that my hood would open easily going forward. Great value for the money, fair pricing and totally worth it. Highly recommend! I need some additional work done (new alternator), and he has been communicating with me on sourcing and pricing, which I really appreciate. Will absolutely work with him in the future. read more

So my car suddenly went into limp mode out of nowhere and every 5 star auto shop on yelp was booked at least two weeks out when I called. Mohammed was the first to respond when I request for estimate on yelp and had availability the same day. It turns out that my battery was dead and my oil was bad. My dealership specifically had told me that I only need to change my oil once a year and I didn't realized that battery is only good for 4 years and the one in my car was the battery it came stock with so it was 6 years old. The diagnostic fee was $100 which was way cheaper than another shop I had called and then $100 for labour and $50 for the oil. What Mohammed did that was above and beyond and prompted me to write this review is that I decided to go to Costco and get my own battery cause it was cheaper. He was fine with this and even got on the phone with the Costco rep to make sure I got the correct battery for my car cause they couldn't find my make and model. The whole battery run took over an hour cause of the long line at Costco's auto shop and Mohammed patiently waited for me to come back to start the work on my car. I had been in contact with my friend thats knowledgeable about cars and he agreed the price I was charged was fair. I highly recommend Mohammed's service as he is a good and fair mechanic. read more

First off I have never had a mechanic house called before, but I will say now I will always try to get this kind of service for my geriatric Mazda 6 whenever I can! Mohammed was extremely efficient in solving my primary issue (which turned out to be two failing engine mounts) but was able to fix a few secondary issues that I had basically given up on. He's a good mechanic and also good with electric systems as well. And last, but not least, he was very affordable and did his best to keep costs down. he was very professional and was available to accommodate my schedule. If I could give him six stars, I would! read more

Mohamad is very honest and have expertise in his domain. He helped me save a reasonable amount of money. Firstone guys asked me to replace the front wheel bearing which was causing crunchy sound. He helped to figure out it was not even an issue. He's very professional and easy to work with. I recommend him 100% and will use his service again. read more

I highly recommend Hama Mobil auto mechanic. Dependable, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Such a breeze to have him come to me. Grateful! read more

Mohammed is a diamond in the rough world of auto repair. He responded to my service request within the hour with a very reasonable rate, scheduled me for the next day, arrived on time, and had my brakes fixed in a couple of hours (warranty included). He was super friendly and didn't try to sell me on any other repairs, which I'm sure most auto repair shops would have, and left me feeling like I'd made the right choice in choosing him. He will be my first choice for any auto repair in the future, and the fact that he comes to me is just icing on the cake. read more

Great service! Quick response, Nascar fast on the repair and good value for the work, saved me a back ache! I would definitely recommend Hana Mobile Mechanic again! read more

Mohammed is the rare combination of skilled, transparent, and affordable: he tells you exactly what's going on with your car, keeps it real about what you *should* fix and what can wait, and charges rates that are way better than what you can find from a shop or even other mobile mechanics. I called Mohammed about a brake problem and he booked me for the very next day. When he showed up, he diagnosed a problem with my brake rotors, pads, and shoe - but told me I don't have to worry about the brake shoe if I rarely use my parking brake. I don't, so we just replaced the rotors and pads. I felt completely comfortable with Mohammed because he doesn't try to upsell you on stuff you don't urgently need. Will definitely be calling him the next time I have any issues with my car! read more

Professional & quality service. I was able to set up an appointment the next business day and had my AC back to blowing cold air in no time. This company replied to a mass message which had all my vehicles details and the service I was requesting. I was told to call and schedule an appointment. When I called I was told they don't offer that service. The whole thing was very unprofessional, overall I wouldn't recommend if you need serious, or legitimate work done by a mechanic. I'm sure they can do easy work like oil changes or could top off fluid or something like Walmart does. And with respect, Walmart would probably remember the make, model, and year of your vehicle and not waste your time. read more

He came to my home to help me out, established the problem and then got me a discount at a local shop for the fix. Honest and trustworthy are the two words I'd say to describe my interaction with Mo. read more

Was polite and answered quickly. Unfortunately could not use services since labor was too high.

My daughter's vehicle was running hot and having used Hama before, he responded right away and got the vehicle back running.

Mohammed installed a replacement timing belt/ water pump kit in my 2008 Hyundai Elantra GLS in April of 2023 and provided a two year warranty on parts and labor. My daughter had the car inspected in May of 2024 and the shop informed her that the timing belt appeared to be fraying along one edge. Once I was able to reconnect with Mohammed he fairly quickly scheduled and replaced the timing belt at no cost. I asked him about the water pump, seals and belt tensioner he had initially installed and he assured me that there was no issue with them. On the one hand I had hoped he would have installed a completely new kit which would have started a new two year warranty on everything I trust him to take care of any of the parts he installed should they fail within the two year warranty period. I will not hesitate to use him for any future maintenance or repairs I am not able to perform myself. His pricing is very competitive as well. read more

I had put in a service request for my abs sensor light coming on through Yelp, and Mohammed answer right away. He came to check out my car the next day and walked me through and explained what the computer was picking up from the ABS sensor error in my right front wheel. I had to have my axel, wheel sensor and the wheel hub bearing all replaced. He couldn't repair my wheel the same day due to parts not being available at the stores, which was not his fault but he ordered all the parts and even came back the following day and repaired my wheel! He did a wonderful job for a great price too! He is a very nice guy, will definitely use his services again! Thank you Mohammed! read more

Super busy so I looked up mobile mechanics for a brake job and fuel system service on my Nissan Rogue. Came across Mohammed's Yelp page and thought I would give him a try. He got back to me right away to schedule the service, came to me the next day, explained exactly what my car needed and what it didn't, and explained all of the costs. Repairs were super quick and he fixed all of the issues with my car. Price was incredibly reasonable. Mohammed is a skilled and hard working independent mechanic that comes to you, and I highly recommend his services. I'll be calling him next time I need auto repair! read more
