I chatted with one of the service advisors about his recommendations on the better car makers, and was told to stay away from Hyundai/Kia, any hybrids, and any turbos, for various maintenance and longevity reasons. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to share that kind of information. After about an hour, my vehicle was was finished and I was called to the counter. They charged me $11.50 for the emissions inspection, which is the posted rate on the DPS website. Great customer service, friendly advisors, and a comfortable waiting area. They take a look at my brakes and they report $1200 to fix the brakes. They were not down to 2 inches like DR auto claimed and could compare it to a brand new brake pad. They gave me in for reference this place lies and then they reach out to you via text and harass you there for leading a bad review because they lie, I have never experienced such bad service in my life. He came over this afternoon and was able to fix it even though nobody makes or sells that part anymore. He was great about communicating by text. He kept me in the loop the perfect amount, not spamming me with courtesy stuff, but also making sure I understood everything. It was nice to chat with him, but he also didn't need much attention. I didn't have to take any time off work and it was fixed for probably less money than it would have cost me to get it towed to a repair place.
