Been here twice now to try the wrap and the plate. I much preferred the plate however it's quite expensive for what it is and they charge you extra if you want both hummus and rice. I was really excited for the wrap because it was nicely toasted on the outside and pretty big but it was pretty much all salad greens with a few pieces of chicken that you could barely taste. I asked to add rice to both my wrap and my husband's but neither of us got rice so that was disappointing as rice probably would have made it much better. It was very filling due to the size but probably wouldn't get it again. The French fries are always fresh and hot so I appreciate that!

First time here, we actually were planning on having Thai across the street. But seen this spot and walked over. Small cafe type place, owners very friendly and greet you upon arrival. No sit-down menus so you have to order at the counter. But since there was only 1 person in the place it was fine. Ordering is quick and easy. Good amount of food for your buck.. soup could have had more flavor but we will order a different one next time. Falafels are excellent and chicken wrap was good. My platter had kebabs and all were flavorful. Definitely a place to come to lots of foot traffic, people ordering and picking up, seems like phone orders. And they are quick 8-10 minutes per orders.. thanks for the lunch we will be back..

Jerusalem Organic Kitchen is a hidden gem (easily missable from the street) but the food is delicious! I've been here a few times and always feel like the value and quality of the dishes is super high. The dishes are seasoned impeccably. I love that their tabbouleh is topped with roasted sesame seeds for example - adds so much flavor and texture. 10/10 would recommend this place!!!

The inside of Jerusalem Organic Kitchen looks quite rustic and dated, but this restaurant turns out seriously delicious and high-quality Israeli dishes! The Falafel Platter came with a colorful assortment of mezzes including four crispy, herbaceous chickpea fritters; hummus; baba ghanoush; Jerusalem salad (lettuce, tomato, and cucumber topped with za'atar); tabbouleh (parsley, bulgur, tomato salad topped with sesame seeds); feta cheese; olives; whole wheat pita bread; tahini; and a tomato-based hot sauce on the side. My favorite components were the falafel and hummus, which were both fresh and flavorful! The Combination Skewers Patter came with three freshly-grilled skewers: chicken, beef, and lamb kofta, and my favorite was the kofta, which was perfectly spiced and grilled to juicy perfection. The platter also came with Jerusalem salad, hummus, and pita, which completed the meal. Overall, the food here was fresh, vibrant, flavorful, and absolutely delicious!

I live down Solano and can't believe I have not walked into this place. I definitely will be back! My lamb wrap was fairly priced for the size of it (see photo). Falafels were on point too. Excited to try the other items in the menu next time.

Located on the top of Solano Ave, parking is easy to find. Depending on if you want to pay you have street parking, but also if you go on side streets you don't have to pay. When you enter, the interior seems a bit run down and the tables were a bit dirty. They seemed to have a variety of food options on their menu from wraps to hot platters to seafood. We ended up ordering the lamb Jerusalem burger and the shawarma wrap with hummus and fries. Presentation wise, it was a bit disappointing. The fries and hummus were served in a to go container even though we were sitting in the restaurant. Our food was served on a paper plate with plastic forks. We were excited to try their pita bread thinking maybe it was homemade; however we saw it was coming straight out of a plastic bag that one could get out of safeway. Overall food was okay, lamb was overcooked and the burger was dry.

I got an assortment of Turkish delight and some pistachio baklava ($2.99). The Turkish delight is sold by weight across all the varieties and goes for $16.99/lb. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and offered us a sample of one of the flavors to try which I thought was a nice gesture. Everything looked so good, so we picked a couple different pieces of Turkish delight to try. To my surprise, my favorite ended up being the saffron, though rose petal with pomegranate and sour cherry with pastachio were close seconds. I didn't like the coconut or the chocolate one that much, so reminder to myself to skip those next time. After picking up the dessert, I did a quick circle around the store to see what they had. The café bartenders are always kind -- once they even let me use the bathroom before I realized the laundromat had one. I've ordered a beer while waiting for my clothes to dry and was welcomed to sit with my dog on the back patio. The atmosphere is warm and accommodating. The market itself is a treasure trove: shelves filled with Middle Eastern dry goods, nuts, dried fruits, spices, blends, and condiments you can't find anywhere else. Kofta, shish kebab, falafel, sumac, garam masala -- it's all here. They also carry pita, lavash, labna, and other breads and yogurts that make cooking from scratch feel like heaven. Bonus points for the large assortments of delicious house made baklavas! Even without a full kitchen, the prepared foods are excellent. I ordered falafel, eggplant dip, hummus, and cucumber salad from the to‑go counter -- a mini feast for $26 that didn't disappoint. **Verdict:** Courteous service, respectful staff, and a fantastic selection. Whether you're cooking at home or grabbing a bite, this place is a gem. Highly recommended.

We already knew what we wanted because we had looked at the menu online. We tried the lamb shank with the fava bean rice for 24. We also ordered the beef stew with added eggplant for about 17. The portion size of the stew was very small like a shallow small plate. This was not a cheap lunch for 44. Everything tasted fresh and had authentic flavor. Nothing was too salty or strong flavored. You have to order the stew if you want to have flavor with your rice. It was too bland otherwise for me. Like another yelper said, the water tasted straight out of the faucet. For these prices, they should really offer you a hot tea on the house. My husband enjoyed the lamb shank but I honestly thought it could be even more tender. Also the food was lukewarm. The plus side is that the food came out immediately because it was already pre-cooked. It's like eating buffet food. We will come back whenever we're in the area. This is pretty good Persian food.

The restaurant is fairly small with probably about a half a dozen tables, etc. The owner was very polite, and thankfully very patient with us for a friends lunch. We originally had plans for another restaurant, but this location, etc. worked out. Everyone spent quite a bit of time catching up, and we were made to feel at home. I ordered a side of fries for a shareable at the table. I found the fries to be very underwhelming and needed more seasoning and considering that it's seven dollars for a side of fries the serving was pretty mediocre. I ordered the lamb/beef gyro plate. The side salad was very fresh and had a light vinaigrette dressing. I would have liked for the dressing to be more of an actual vinaigrette flavor. The rice was light and fluffy, but again, lacked seasoning/flavor. The side of yogurt sauce, was tasty, but did not hit the spot. Why? Because it really lacked the flavors. Notice a theme? I will say, the meat was tender, and it had a really nice flavor to it. It was delicious enough that it was very difficult to differentiate between a lamb flavor versus a beef flavor. It all tasted good together. The soft drinks are rather pricey. It was around $3.50 for a bottled Coke. Yikes! When we were done with our meal, we were served complementary hot tea. It was a nice touch.
