I love the subs at Jersey Mike's but this business is trying to make a political statement by not wearing masks. There is a sign on the front that says "Governor Newsom requires masks but if you have a medical condition you don't have to wear one. If you come in not wearing one we will assume that is the case and not ask." I looked in and saw both visitors and employees not wearing masks and I walked away. If you think COVID is a hoax feel free to go here. But I wish this business put its customers safety above its politics and encourage people to follow the spirit of the law. read more

My husband and I have been going here since they opened. For just a sandwich they're a little pricey but worth EVERY penny!!! We went here to eat lunch today (August 22, 2018) and arrived right as they opened. As usual, the food was amazing but, for just opening, the place was a filthy mess! Michelle who was obviously the lady in charge is beyond rude. She does not do well under pressure, gets flustered, her face was beet red and she literally yelled at my husband and silenced a line of people behind him because she said he was frustrating her and not listening!! OMG!! Who does that? The tables were not bused, the trash was overflowing, the employees didn't know whose job was what. They all had attitudes and I really feel they were totally intimidated by Michelle. What happened to service with a smile? We have been to other Jersey Mikes and had a great experience but I am a very service oriented person and this Redding store falls short of the mark. I don't know why the reviews are low on this place. The food is always good. I've had the original Italian and the club sub. Both are awesome! Everything is clean and all the meat and cheese is fresh sliced. The sandwiches are huge. A regular size is almost too much for one sitting. Recommending the mini unless you're super hungry. Yum, this place is great. I prefer Jersey Mike's over other sandwich shops like Subway because when you walk in, it actually smells delicious inside. All the products taste really fresh and I like that it is lighter (they use vinegar instead of mustard and mayo) and is still full of flavor. We finally tried Jersey Mike's Subs last night after my boyfriends co-worker recommended doing so. The two stars is less about the actual sandwich and more about the price. I got the Turkey and provolone which was decent and tasted more or less like a subway sandwich with way fewer bread options. If you want extras such as avocado it is $2 more per topping. I was going to order a couple of sandwiches last week as our friend told us they ran a special on Tuesdays for their giant subs, get two subs for $20. After attempting to order online and seeing that the price was way more I called the shop and asked if they ran a deal like that. I was told there was no Tuesday deal like that but all their giant subs if ordered after 5 o'clock in the evening were buy one get one for five dollars, I decided not to place an order at that time as I could not see spending $50 on 2 deli sandwiches. Last night my boyfriend decided we were going to order jersey Mike's, I had nothing to do with the ordering process and was shocked when the order arrived and he told me it had cost $65. I do want to say that these subs are big at 14 inches but that's only 2 inches bigger then a subway footlong for almost 3x the price. The break down of the order... for a plain turkey and lettuce sandwich with no extras and a plain tuna fish sandwich with no extras, two small bags of chips and two 20 ounce sodas was $50. The delivery was free and tax was almost $4 dollars, he gave a 10% tip for the driver which was almost 9 dollars given that the food order was $50. In the end the price is what it is but in my opinion, Their giant subs are not worth the $20 they cost. read more
