I've been coming to this Jersey Mike's since they opened, as we've been waiting for one to FINALLY be in our part of Pasadena. It was great. AT FIRST. And then the pandemic came. Once that happened, it's as if the workers have stopped taking the time to do their jobs properly, and they are SUPER rude and disrespectful. They can't even be bothered to do a mobile order correctly. This would be the 2nd or 3rd time in the past 30 days that I've had to deal with the disrespect and negligence, and I'm over it. It's bad enough that I'll actually be contacting corporate. I shouldn't have to be required to NEVER USE MOBILE ORDER because the workers choose not to follow allergy issues that are addressed in special requests and other simple requests. Sometimes I don't have time to wait to watch EVERY MOVE THEY MAKE AND HOW THEY MAKE my food. Not to menton, they also are using old bruised and over ripe (basically old) avocado, and then still charged me for that crap! This place needs to be fixed, or gotten rid of. It wasn't that busy (only two customers in front of us), but they took a long time to make & serve our food. While we were waiting, we had plenty of time to look around. I noticed the floors and tables were dirty, and the drink counter had soda spilled everywhere (I.e., counter, doors and floor). The girl managing the register looked lost. Perhaps she could have picked up a broom and a cloth to wipe the area. The person at the grill seemed quite frustrated and continued to drop the f-bomb during the time we were there. We purchased two sandwiches, chips and drink, which we both liked. I had a #16 and my guest had a #6. Overall the food was good. With this being a brand new location, I guess I expected to see a super clean dining area and greeted by well mannered employees - freshly trained. Arriving to a restaurant 10 minutes before closing can be the worst. We had a long day and wanted to get something to go quickly. We felt bad as they were almost done cleaning up for the day but William greeted us with a smile. He was friendly and had a good conversation while he built two beautiful sandwiches. This location is probably the worst Jersey Mike's we've ever visited. Incorrect orders, long wait times, and this time they took our order, we get there to pick-up and we're told they're out of bread. Out of bread? The staff there seems to be as frustrated as the patrons. The staff told us that this happens regularly - the owner/franchisee does not seem to care - we were told. I had ordered a hot sandwich ten minutes before I went into the establishment to pick it up. Once I had arrived I saw my sandwich on the counter; but there was another lady in front of me who's credit card kept declining. I decided to be patient and wait, but she was holding up the line for 15 minutes while my sandwich was getting cold. Mind you it was a ten dollar flat rate and I was ready to pay with my money on the counter; but the manager aggressively insisted that I wait in line despite my sandwich getting cold. At this point she practically rejects my money and asks me to leave. Terrible customer service and the employees working there have no regard for the customer what so ever. I've visited this Jersey Mike's multiple times and this is probably the worst experience I've ever had. Upon arrival a man was leaving the Jersey Mike's location and as he walked out of the location and I walked in and immediately one of the girls behind the counter flipped him the middle finger. One of the associates said don't do that we have customers she said I don't care. I disregarded because maybe he was an upset customer or maybe came off rude but then when ordering my sandwiches I really felt like they didn't want to help me at all. There was no sense of customer service in any way shape or form and I'm completely dissatisfied. I asked for a couple modifications on my sandwiches. For example one sandwich I asked for mayo and mustard I got no mustard one sandwich I asked for the sauces on the side they were never placed in the bag. There were five people behind the counter and only one girl trying to manage my order. When I got home to open up my sandwiches I had a bad taste in my mouth just knowing how my experience was so I decided to make a phone call. The young man who answered the phone at Jersey Mike's was very rude saying he was too busy right now and he'll tell the customers he has someone that wants to file a complaint so he can go in the back and talk to me. New location in Pasadena. This is my first time trying Jersey Mike's and I really enjoyed it. I got the original Italian and Mike's famous philly. The philly was perfect temperature with some nice melted cheese. I had a good first time experience. I would definitely be back when I'm feeling sandwiches! read more

I had an online order the other day. When I wet to pick up it wasn't ready yet. The staff made sure I was taken care of, offered me a drink and assured me they are working on it. I could see they were swamped it was lunch hour and were all working hard. I just really appreciate how they still took time to offer me drinks and chips. Have ordered from this Jersey Mike's location several times. We've ordered online, ordered by phone, and have ordered in person. Each time the quality is different. Two times we all needed to add our own vinegar and oil at home even though the order specified that we wanted each sandwich made "Mike's Way". Another time the bread was very dry and tasteless (maybe it was gluten free bread?). It was not the bread requested. Twice the sandwiches were perfect. This is a well kept store and the staff is really polite and friendly and inviting for you to come back and eat. Mervin the manager makes it a very nice and enjoyable experience to eat there as well. I will be coming to eat there more often and the music is enjoyable as well. read more

I visit this location at least once per week. its convenient and quick. The food is good and my expectations are always met. During this pandemic I have come to appreciate customer service even more than pre-pandemic. As I was waiting in line an elderly gentleman had placed an order over the internet and was having difficulty locating his order. It was lunchtime, busy and yet Hannah made time to come from behind the counter to assist the gentleman in locating his order on his cell phone. She went over and above the customer service one would expect of your local sandwich shop. She was kind, concerned and genuinely just a nice person. She always has something pleasant to say. I'm sure Hannah has her own worries, like all of us during the past 9 months, but she put her's aside and bent over backwards to make that gentleman's day a little easier. These are the things that are appreciated in this physical/social distance world we now live in. read more

Every time I order off the app this place doesn't make my order. Every single time. Nobody in the place, ordered 30 minutes ago, and they act surprised that there was an order off the app and offer me a free drink while I sit and wait another 20 minutes for them to make my sandwiches that were supposed to ready for pickup when I got there. Pay attention to your online orders! There's nobody even in there. No excuse to not be on the app orders when you are this slow. read more

First time trying Jersey mikes and it was fantastic. My sandwich was delicious I had the bacon ranch sandwich, it exceeded my expectations. There where only 3 people today, they seemed understaffed but they killed it. They gave great customer service and where friendly. They where hustling trying to take everyone's order. I got there when it was dead but the line grew really big and people where ordering 3-4 sandwiches each. I commented saying it seemed it was understaffed when the guy told me they where. They had two call outs. But that didn't stop them from giving great service and making my food fast and with quality. Will definitely be coming again. Haven't been to a Jersey Mike's in a while, first they made me wait 12 mins to order a sandwich and I was the only one , the poor guy was left alone and this girl just walked out without helping out , then I don't know if vinegar and oil come automatically in every sandwich but they didn't ask if I wanted so I had to let him while putting it , I just ended up saying it's ok leave it since I wanted to go didn't wanted to wait another 12 mins for a sandwich. read more

I love Jersey Mike's but this specific franchise location is terrible. I hardly ever write reviews but I felt compelled to write one here as the entire experience was the worst. I used the app to order two subs Mike's way. When I arrived 20 minutes later the order was not ready and there were others waiting for their pre-ordered meals, one for 30 minutes who actually asked for his money back and left. Terrible customer service. After 25 minutes I got the subs. Again TERRIBLE. The bread was hard and stale. No mayo or anything except meat and cheese which was super thin. Jersey Mikes is usually very consistent but this one location is badly trained and customer service is non existent. I blame the franchise owner who controls service and quality. Go the extra distance to find another Jersey Mikes location. read more

Mobile orders never prepared on time..And even after acknowledging that for whatever reason the order was not prepared timely, still takes them an additional 20 minutes to make the damn sandwich sick of it! read more

I waited a good month and an half for writing this review. I was a very bad experience waited over 30 min longer for my order watched the manager do more damage then good for her employees got home all my sandwiches were wrong. I called talked to a manager she kept making excuses for everything they told me if I wanted a refund I had to go to the store directly. I told her I'm fine with a GC but not for this location because they sandwiches are not what we are used to from the Jersey Mike's in Monrovia but she said she didn't want to have to call corporate for the help. Well I hung up and thought why do I have to go to them for there mistakes I left a message and the owner called me back wow he kept making excuses for his manager and gave me a a bunch of oh I understands I could tell he wasn't listening and you can tell he didn't care or want to hear about how his store isn't that great. He said he was sending me a GC but this was considerably less then what my sandwiches cost and what his manager told me she was giving me. I gave him my address and still nothing like I said it's been over a month and a half I'm am so surprised how poorly this location is run makes me sad because it so much closer to my house. on Friday 4/21/23 I took a break, I was working in a driveway for a businesses nearby, about 7 or 8 pm after getting some paving materials from HD, I went to buy a classic Italian sub at this place, then while a nice lady was helping me fine suddenly out of nothing this black guy (could have been Mexicano, Asian or White- just to make sure if He reads this he knows ) told me in a very rude manner to move my hand away from the glass that divides the customer area and the serving area and I was astonished to say the least because the glass is right in front of you and there are no signs stating any rule, when I ask this guy why or who would say such thing he stated he said it because he is the manager in an attitude very arrogant, this guy might be a manager for the store but his brain is very small , I was working and I know I did not look as sharp as the rest of the customers but I feel my money pays the same as anyone else. mistreating people because how we look only shows some prejudice in my opinion, I seen these thing in you tube but now I know how it feels. does not feel good. Tonight I tried to order three sandwiches a big kahuna A club sandwich and a bacon sandwich with avocado the menu does not show it the so the guy says you want a number one that's two sandwiches they only show 3 to 18 or 19 sandwiches I still don't know what Number two or number three are so-called person in charge said rudely that's two sandwiches I repeated the order and he blew me off and starting making them the guy that was helping I looked at him and said why don't I pay while you're working on it trying to be polite and when I tried to pay for it wifi a $100 bill the guy comes over and goes let me check so I said do you want to check my other hundred dollar bill then I said to the other guy this is what yelp is for that is what yelp is for they refused to give me my sandwiches gave me my hundred dollar bill back at which place I have to admit I asked him to step outside and handle it like a man but he was a pussy I don't know who made him a manager the other guy was nice read more
