Stood in line for two minutes, with no one ahead of me prior to being acknowledged as the employees were pre occupied discussing the upcoming football games that weekend. Had to repeat what I wanted two time's before they got the order, and even then turned around and asked if I had said "No Jalapeños RIGHT?," and here I am repeating the third time, "No mushrooms." Next thing I know the employee is picking at the grill and sorting the mushrooms out - inconsiderate at best as he's not aware of my allergies. Finally got the sandwich right and prepared it - delivered by the employee simply yelling out the sandwich number and placing it on the counter - if it was busy it would be clear you have other clients to attend too, but in this scenario a sorry, thank you and an enjoy would have been fitting - instead, seems as though the employees were more concerned about carrying on their conversation. I just got the crappiest sandwich from this location. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich, which is grilled. Now, I like sandwiches, and I like Jersey mikes, but when I get a sandwich with COOKED LETTUCE AND TOMATO, and a very skimpy amount of lettuce at that (which is probably a good thing, all things considered) I'm not going to let it go. Dear management... We were at the Pasadena Foothill store today, ordered a sandwich and the girl there who was just "cleaning" the station, wearing a very dirty shirt without an apron, used her same gloves to cut the bread for our order, another guy just came out from the kitchen used his same gloves (without changing gloves) to grab the meats and vegetables for our sandwich, while he is preparing our sandwich, the girl who just cut our bread used her bare hand (with the same gloves) to wipe the table and pushed the vegetable clumps to the floor, after that she continued to clean other equipment WITHOUT changing gloves. By the way, there were 3-4 guys in the front talking to each other while the guy was preparing our order, they were like standing close to each other and right besides the order prep table, Its was pretty disgusting just to watch how they work and prepared food in front of the customers. Diluted myself into thinking that I could call in an order today and, sure enough, it was not only late, but wrong. whatever system, they use to prioritize making, it has very little to do with when you place the order. If I could give this location fk'n a negative 5 stars review!!!! This location is a joke at best. The employees have the most miserable attitude, they NEVER mention any item is unavailable before ordering a sandwich with key components that are missing. How the fk do you order sandwiches with bacon listed as a key ingredient and fail to post signage or verbally tell your paying customer said key ingredient is unavailable. And this is NOT the first nor second or even the 3rd time it's happened so often I've genuinely lost count!!!! All the employees there are the same so I find it astounding that these simpletons can't manage to rectify this situation that has clearly become habitual. Over a year ago I saw a sign in the empty lot across from Sears saying that Jersey Mike's was coming soon which excited me greatly. 'Soon' was quite a bit longer than I wanted, but the locations on Lake and in South Pasadena eased some of my 'pain' of waiting. ;) I have liked the chain for some time now, especially for giving us, gluten free people, a pretty safe place to eat, with multiple sandwich options and is is nice to have something available for me in that area now while in that area. We went tonight around 8:45 but they were still very willing to help us :) When I informed one of the fellas, Anthony, about my gluten allergy, he was ready for it, and explained to me the various precautions they take, as he did them, which was very appreciated. I also appreciated his friendly attitude. Upon leaving I told the manager, I believe, how much I love Jersey Mike's for their gluten free sandwiches, etc and he told me they also have gluten free cookies which was super exciting to me!!! I believe they are available upon request? Today was not the best, but the sandwich, cookie and service made it happier. Two more positives: As a store they are supporting the cancer Support Community, and have a donation box as well as some papers about them, which was so cool and lovely to see. The other positive is their parking lot, compared with the location on Lake. I hope they stay in this location for many more years and the company itself continues to grow. read more

Favorite sub shop in Pasadena. Great food. Fresh products. Popular eats. Love the #6 with extra juice. Unreal. Love how they actually cook their own roast beef. Unheard of in terms of quality compared to other sandwich shops. Used to LOVE subway but when I found out Subway had 99 something ingredients in Subway meats, with only about 50% containing any form of biproduct meat. Jersey Mikes on the other hand I found has real delicious quality product meats that have 1 ingredient. Meat. That's what I love. That's the quality I can really get behind. No longer hesitate to go straight to JM exclusively. For what I pay the ingredients are quality fresh as they should Ben Fresh foods and fresh quality. The store is so clean. The staff are friendly. When I walk in they make me feel like I matter. I am very happy to make the drive four times a week for my lunch. Check your order. Today I ordered two sandwiches to go, both to be made with White bread. Simple request right??? Unfortunately, not for this location. When I called back, the manager did not apologize but did offer to remake the sandwiches correctly which I did not want. He then vaguely indicated there was a new employee and that he would made sure they would be told. Unfortunately, what he offered just did not help me as my child was already complaining about the wheat bread and I had to put together something else for her. Never coming here again. I should've known when the person in front of me came back for the second time because her order was wrong. The guy taking the order got my order correct. I believe it was lost in translation when it came to the guy (acting supervisor/lead). All three of my sandwiches were incorrect. ALL THREE. It takes a certain kind of special to get TWO out of the THREE wrong TWO TIMES. Later, I realized they actually got all three wrong. I even went up to them as they were remaking the two sandwiches to tell them that I owe them money because they only charged me for one giant and should have been two. They said that it's ok. They hand me the two sandwiches. They were both regulars. One was suppose to be a giant. They said they'll make a another half to make it right. Ok, works for me. Then he said he'll have to charge me for the other half. I'm like ok, that's what I was telling you anyway. That I owed you more money. HE WAS FREAKIN CHARGING ME FOR A REGULAR SIZE. Now, let's do the math. The giant size was $15 and change. He was charging me another $8.99. I told him that's not right because I ordered it from the beginning as a giant size. He blamed my husband who brought the sandwiches back in because they were wrong. Ok, my husband knows what we ordered. Employee said he can't just charge me for the difference between the regular and giant size and cannot void a transaction to do do it over - correctly. Doesn't make sense. I'm not looking for a free sandwich but I'm certainly not paying for more than what I ordered. When we opened the sandwiches they remade for me, they got the bread wrong ‍ Spare yourself the grief and don't ever go here. Plenty of other places to eat. Or hopefully, you'll get better luck at another location. If you do end up here, hopefully you are not ordering more than one sandwich. So disappointed I even tipped these guys! I tried Jersey Mike's for lunch. I ordered one of their cold subs, the #3 Ham and Provolone. Unfortunately it was a very pedestrian experience. The ham was quite average, and an extremely petite serving. There weren't many vegetables/fruits either. The sandwich unfortunately in no way reflected the image on their webpage. Overall a bit disappointing. I may try them again at some later date, but given the local competition, it may be a while. read more

I went in around 8:20 pm, and after waiting patiently for 5 minutes while one employee finished two sandwiches, I ordered a Philly cheese steak and was told that it was too late because they had already cleaned the grill for the night. They need to advertise that you can't get a sandwich that requires the grill after 8:20. I could almost understand if it was 8:55 om, but who closed the grill more than 1/2 hour before closing time. Yeesh. And I am positive about the time because when I got back in my car it was 8:26. Night manager is very rude. My mom saw him touch his nose and then the sandwich so she asked the other employee to remake the sandwich the lady who worked there asked what was wrong and my mom explained to the lady what happened. The night manager who touched his nose and the sandwich came and was yelling asking DID YOU SEE ME TOUCH MY NOSE, DID IN HAVE THE SANDWITCH IN MY HAND. My dad then told him, it's already done they are making the sandwitch. Then the guy said it's his store he is the manager and my dad was being rude and never tell him to shut up bal bla bla and my dad ever told him to shut up. I walk in an I tell the girl at the register I have a coupon she looks at it and tells me ur going to have to wait pointing to the end of the line where they keep the meat and cheese and I wasn't cutting anyone. she's also isn't doing anything and no one else was doing anything. so another worker comes and informs me the coupon was for Monrovia's location but I should of looked my fault. I've been coming to this Jersey Mike's since they opened, as we've been waiting for one to FINALLY be in our part of Pasadena. It was great. AT FIRST. And then the pandemic came. Once that happened, it's as if the workers have stopped taking the time to do their jobs properly, and they are SUPER rude and disrespectful. They can't even be bothered to do a mobile order correctly. This would be the 2nd or 3rd time in the past 30 days that I've had to deal with the disrespect and negligence, and I'm over it. It's bad enough that I'll actually be contacting corporate. I shouldn't have to be required to NEVER USE MOBILE ORDER because the workers choose not to follow allergy issues that are addressed in special requests and other simple requests. Sometimes I don't have time to wait to watch EVERY MOVE THEY MAKE AND HOW THEY MAKE my food. Not to menton, they also are using old bruised and over ripe (basically old) avocado, and then still charged me for that crap! This place needs to be fixed, or gotten rid of. It wasn't that busy (only two customers in front of us), but they took a long time to make & serve our food. While we were waiting, we had plenty of time to look around. I noticed the floors and tables were dirty, and the drink counter had soda spilled everywhere (I.e., counter, doors and floor). The girl managing the register looked lost. Perhaps she could have picked up a broom and a cloth to wipe the area. The person at the grill seemed quite frustrated and continued to drop the f-bomb during the time we were there. We purchased two sandwiches, chips and drink, which we both liked. I had a #16 and my guest had a #6. Overall the food was good. With this being a brand new location, I guess I expected to see a super clean dining area and greeted by well mannered employees - freshly trained. We felt bad as they were almost done cleaning up for the day but William greeted us with a smile. He was friendly and had a good conversation while he built two beautiful sandwiches. I've visited this Jersey Mike's multiple times and this is probably the worst experience I've ever had. Upon arrival a man was leaving the Jersey Mike's location and as he walked out of the location and I walked in and immediately one of the girls behind the counter flipped him the middle finger. One of the associates said don't do that we have customers she said I don't care. I disregarded because maybe he was an upset customer or maybe came off rude but then when ordering my sandwiches I really felt like they didn't want to help me at all. There was no sense of customer service in any way shape or form and I'm completely dissatisfied. I asked for a couple modifications on my sandwiches. For example one sandwich I asked for mayo and mustard I got no mustard one sandwich I asked for the sauces on the side they were never placed in the bag. There were five people behind the counter and only one girl trying to manage my order. When I got home to open up my sandwiches I had a bad taste in my mouth just knowing how my experience was so I decided to make a phone call. The young man who answered the phone at Jersey Mike's was very rude saying he was too busy right now and he'll tell the customers he has someone that wants to file a complaint so he can go in the back and talk to me. Once I had arrived I saw my sandwich on the counter; but there was another lady in front of me who's credit card kept declining. I decided to be patient and wait, but she was holding up the line for 15 minutes while my sandwich was getting cold. Mind you it was a ten dollar flat rate and I was ready to pay with my money on the counter; but the manager aggressively insisted that I wait in line despite my sandwich getting cold. At this point she practically rejects my money and asks me to leave. Terrible customer service and the employees working there have no regard for the customer what so ever.
