Ordered an Italian sub, sat down to eat it and took few bites. Something told me to look at the bottom of the bread so I did. And I thought Italian herbs? No it was a bunch of black hairs baked into the bottom of the bread. It looks like it was done on purpose. Could be pubic hairs or nose hairs. I am totally disgusted. Buyer beware of this Highway K location. The baker wanted to add a little extra something to the bread. Someone at that location did it because they bake their bread in house. yuck!! read more

My first time trying Jersey Mike's and I am very impressed! I had the ham and provolone on a Parmesan crusted bread. Very delicious and plenty of meat for a filling meal! I had the mini and it was just enough! Not too full and not left hungry. I ordered the sandwich online as a guest so I was not at Jersey Mike's. With the donations and what they did for FZW I got a Club Sub & Chipotle Cheesesteak which I only got because the guy by me in line asked if I like a little kick suggested it. Wow it was so good the chipotle mayo jersey mikes has is incredible! The sandwich ws fantastic so was the service and I'm here another time for lunch right now I ordered online and the service is good. Down one star should maybe do more my sandwich was hot but sat there a second. They seem to always be packed and for 7.57 a regular chipotle cheesesteak I'll never WASTE money at a sandwich place again. Jersey mikes only! We've been here three times and haven't eaten 1 thing. Twice they've been out of white and wheat bread. That was at 6:30pm and 4pm in the afternoon (they close at 9pm). The third time they closed early. I don't think this place will last long. Not interested in ever going back. Plenty of other sandwich shops around O'Fallon. read more

We always go to this place for subs and today made me question the people. We came today because its my birthday and i wanted to get my free sub! my mom was getting one as well and we were confused and the lady just had a bad attitude our entire time. We went to pay and we were waiting for a man to get off the phone for our mikes way on the side and she looked at us like we were being rude just patiently waiting. Then gave us a dirty look shook her head and walks back to get the containers and then comes back to us and doesn't even give us a bag and we have to ask for it and then just gives us another dirty look. The first time I had Jersey Mike's was in the Las Vegas airport. It was great, so now fast forward to today, excited to have the opportunity to get this great sandwich closer to home. Today, I tried the Chipotle Cheesesteak, w/Chicken vs the Beef. It did not disappoint. Their regular size sandwich is larger than a 6" and in my opinion, worth the price. this afternoon I ordered 4 sandwiches, my name was called, items were bagged and handed over to me. I paid for all 4 sandwiches and left a tip. When I got home I noticed that my chicken chipotle sandwich was not placed in the bag. When I called to ask about the mistake they insinuated that it was my fault for leaving without the sandwich even though they handed me my bag and told me to have a good day. I told them I would be back in 10 minutes to grab my sandwich and asked if I could have a fresh one made since this is supposed to be a "hot" sandwich. They acted like this was a huge inconvenience for them and again implied that the "miscommunication" was my fault. Upon arrival, not one employee apologized or even really acknowledged that I was there. When my sandwich was ready, my name was called again, but still no apology and just walked away without saying anything else from whom I assume is the manager of this location. I stated that this was poorly handled on the phone and in store. i also stated that in my 12 years of restaurant experience I would've never handled a situation the way they did. At the very least they could've apologized for inconveniencing a returning customer. But, then she clapped back with, "I'm not sure what you're mad about, you just got a free sandwich". Even tho I paid for it before leaving the first time. When I said, "at the very least you could've apologized, the manager said very sarcastically, "I'm sooo soorrry, hope you enjoy your lunch!" The food is good BUT the service is SO SLOW!!! I feel like I'm looking at sloths behind the counter. 3 out of 4 of the employees move so slow!!!! Compared to Jimmy Johns or even most Subways I go to, it's so frustrating. The subs are good and worth it IF you have the time. Nothing really sets it apart. I look at the billboards that say they are the best in every market they are in and I literally cannot imagine how. I do like their Reuben. And the philly. But I ordered the Chicken Parm last time I was there. Basically, it was two odd tasting chicken nuggets on a loaf of bread. A little non-description boring sauce and cheese. I ripped most of the bread off so I would have at least a marginally normal ratio of chicken to sandwich. If you are a Jersey Mike's fan... Skip this sandwich. It will ONLY disappoint. Food was not being handled in a safe manner when I picked up my order. I refused my order because the food handlers were not wearing masks. When I asked to talk to the manager a young lady said they did not have one. When I asked for the names of the young man who handled my food and her name, she refused to give me his name or her name. Of course, they all were wearing masks and gloves when I left, but it was clear they did not want the owner/manager to know what had happened. I used the company contact link to let them know what had happened and that the staff there clearly did not want it known. Love, love, love Jersey Mike's!!!! I've been going to them since 2013, but when we moved here I found this franchise around 2015. The first time I went in was on my birthday and I was having a terrible day. I asked if they could update my email address because I wasn't receiving coupons, especially not my birthday one. :( You know what they did, gave me my coupon deal anyways and all wished me a happy birthday. So not only did I get a great deal, they made me smile and turned my day around! Only complaint is that on my last visit, that I sent my hubby to get, they had all of the chicken in my Cesar wrap on one end and the other was all lettuce. I have been going to Jersey Mike's since last April.. I have always gotten a great sandwich. The food is always freshly prepared with a good portion of meat and vegetables. The service is always great. I am a fan of this shop and ever since I have picked up my first sandwich, I don't go to other sub sandwich shops.. They don't compare.. Along with my order the rest of my family members are fans of Jersey Mike's. I got to this location quite frequently and the service is typically good but as of late they've been missing the mark. Running out of ingredients (bread, tomatoes) although not ideal I can understand. On my last trip the young lady was handing the trash can and then attempted to make my sandwich with the same gloves she used with the trash can. I had to ask her to change her gloves. Poor Customer Service from the cashier to the manager. When asked about my reward points she only said its too late I can't fix it. I also questioned the price I was charged which was 30 cents too much. She said only the manager could fix it as she rolled her eyes at me and acted as though I was disturbing her. When the manager arrived and I spoke to him the only comment I got in front of other customers was "So, you want your 30 cents back!" I was very shocked. I love love LOVE this place! I probably would never have tried them if they hadn't sent us a bunch of coupons in the mail. I've now eaten there about 4 times, and have loved everything. The first thing I had was the original Italian sub on wheat. It was seriously the best sub I have ever eaten! I've also had their chicken Philly and turkey wrap with honey mustard--all fantastic! I've been here 5 times and haven't been disappointed yet. The sandwiches are huge compared to Subway with plenty of meat. Priced fairly compared to the competition. I like the fact there is no microwave in sight. Hot sandwiches are cooked a on a flat grill. I do wish they offered french fries as a side. read more

Never pleased at this location. Food prep is inconsistent, tend to get a little light with the meats compared to other locations, and some staff are a real pain in the a$$ to deal with. Here's a suggestion - make the sandwich like YOU were going to eat it! Also, go observe the Chesterfield franchise, they nail it every time. read more
