The store was clean. The service was efficient and friendly. The peanuts were fresh and salty. The fries were plentiful (4 of us shared a large and had some left over). The fries are so flavorful, some of the best I have tasted. The burgers are consistently good. Today I followed my grandson's menu hack...order a grilled cheese and add a hamburger patty. Oh yes, if you like cheesy goodness, you have to try this. My only complaint is that I asked for mayo, mustard and pickles and got extra mayo (I wiped off more than 1/2), pickles and didn't get mustard. But, it still tasted great. They played some upbeat and fun music, so the ambiance is casual and upbeat. I am unsure why many other Yelp ratings of this location are so low. We will definitely be back. read more

I would highly recommend this location. It is smaller than other locations, but the staff is very friendly and they're still plenty of seating even though it's not a larger location. The kids really enjoy watching them make all the food. It's definitely fun for the kids. We will definitely be making this a routine read more

What happen to this location! It used to be reasonably priced and friendly. The food was okay; burgers were cooked well and to order but not worth the "michelin" price. The fries were over-salted, which I'll admit was my mistake in not ordering without salt. I recommend to order fries without salt, then adding it to your taste. Service was underwhelming. I wouldn't say rude, but definitely not friendly. The dining area was well kept and clean but the soda machines are in need of some scrubbing. I expected a superior experience for a $50 meal for two, but found instead an over-priced meal with ungrateful service; no smiles or thank-yous. Unfortunately I will not be including this place, for now, in my rotation of meal experiences. It had been a couple since my last experience in this location, and based my my recent visit, am likely to not experience again any time soon. read more

Food is just OK. It is mostly a burger restaurant with extremely high prices (burger, fries and a drink, $46.00 for two people. Service: Typical ordering process and order-pickup as you might expect. Counter associates are not rude, just impersonal and unappreciative of the customers. Ambiance: Same as McD, Wendy's, etc. read more

First time we had burgers and fries from this place it was excellent. From there it has gone way down. Employees act like it's an inconvenience to wait on you. Then you'll get burgers that have more condiments on them, so much so that the bun falls apart and you can't find the burger. I threw it in the trash. We will not be back! Haven't had a burger in ages and finally broke down and hit up Five Guys. Visited the O Fallon spot and was excited to have hot fries and a cold drink. Ordered a double cheeseburger with all the trimmings and was impressed how the quality of the products were timely and delicious. Did enjoy some peanuts while I waited for the meal to arrive. Extremely rude staff. Ordered a small fry, small burger and drink. Before I was done ordering I realized they had a special and asked to have that as the special and she said no, I had to start with that first. Decided to give 5 Guys a reasonable amount of time to be open and get settled in before we tried this location. I can't say I was impressed at all. Now, mind you, I was not expecting the upscale dining experience that one would expect at this price point, but "guys"....come on... Buns were not fresh, and the burgers weren't anything spectacular. No real flavor or seasoning that would make them stand out from the rest. Fries? Ok... you got me here.... decent, fresh - not frozen fries coming in more than generous portions. The sackfull or "large" as they call it, was plenty to be had. Overall, I can't say that I would be back frequently. It's been a long time since eating Five Guys but was happy when this one in O Fallon MO opened. Finally went tonight to pick up and take home. The regular cheeseburger I ordered with mayo and onions (yes, mayo) had SOOOOOO much mayo that's all I could taste and had to wipe almost all of it off. I also now know why it's called a little burger ( which is supposed to mean a single) but there so much more bun than burger the name is fitting. And I always thought fries were supposed to be just that, Fried. They were so soggy it was more like cooked potato strips. So 2 burgers, one regular fries, 2 shakes was $38 And it wasn't very good. I know prices are higher since the pandemic and I don't have a problem paying a little more, I just want to get a fair portion and properly cooked food. Really kind of disappointed with the price point of this restaurant. I bought a Little Cheeseburger and a regular fry, which came up to nearly $15. For that price, I could've gotten a much better burger with unlimited fries from the Red Robin right across the street. The burgers were good like always. But my husband ordered me a single meal and I got a double. So not sure if they don't have singles or if the worker didn't listen. The fries were so so so bad. The amount of salt on them was so much that we couldn't eat them, it made our stomachs hurt. They were also so soggy it was disgusting. Who ever cooked them did not know how humans eat fries. Five Guys in this area was a great idea. The food was served hot, the way I ordered it, and in a timely manner. While it came to the atmosphere though, I was a bit disappointed. I came in and ordered and while I was ordering the cashier started talking to some employees that were off the clock and came in and cut the line. Five Guys is typically one of our favorite burger places. This is our first visit to the new one that opened in O'Fallon, and I am in here for the second time tonight exchanging a burger that my child wouldn't eat because they screwed it up. There were eight people working behind the counter, and it was not busy. It was 4:30 in the afternoon. And they still messed it up. We'll obviously give them another chance, because we love Five Guys Burgers, but come on guys. How hard is it to get the toppings right? ‍ It was even printed out correctly on the receipt. Can people not read anymore? Really pathetic. My kid is at home eating Ramen now as a result. But for $8 a burger, you need to get it right. read more

Expensive, almost moderately good burgers from this location. Takeout order was wrong. Didn't know until I got home. Food definitely wasn't worth the higher prices. Service was okay, but when I questioned why the internet ordering system wasn't working, a surly manager yelled that they weren't doing that. I asked for a drink carrier for the three large drinks, but all they had in stock was a nasty messed up one, and a broken one. The new location is always busy and the food is good. They still have some room to improve as my order was missing an item, but as they get in the swing of things, it will improve. My only recommendation would be to cook the fries just a *bit* longer. People complaining about the prices have obviously never eaten at a Five Gusy before. read more
