Tonight, though, was a little different because I brought a group of 16 freshman high school girls to Shamrock's for their first homecoming dinner. I worked ahead of time to make everything as seamless as possible and to make things easy for our waitress, and everything worked out perfectly. But honestly, none of it would have gone as well as it did without our waitress, Lexi. The girls all said their food was delicious, and they had such a great time. They also didn't have to worry about being too loud because Shamrock's is a bar and restaurant, so there are plenty of people around doing the exact same thing. Lexi was attentive, knew how to work with the girls, and seemed to understand that this was their first time going out to eat on their own without their parents. She made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable. The bar area is also nice and spacious, so some of the parents were able to sit on the other side and stay out of sight while still being close by. It gave the girls a little freedom while allowing the parents to keep an eye on things. The food was great, too. Unfortunately, we were so busy looking at all the pictures we had taken before dinner that we completely forgot to take pictures of our food! I love their Sham Bowl, which is always delicious. What I really love about Shamrock's is that it truly works for just about any occasion.
