Oh, sooo good!! Welcoming counter staff, bright store inside! Chicken gyro meat is tasty with the right amount of seasonings! The tzatziki sauce is great....not over-powered by a cucumber flavor! We'll be back!

Gyros or Heros? Only U knows! Grabbing a quick lunch and saw this place on Yelp. I love a great gyro ....hey I've been to Greece and savored the authentic gyros in Mykonos. Well this unfortunately isn't in Mykonos.... but the gyro was pretty good! My chicken gyro was tasty. and hit the spot. Sakis in Mykonos is the BOMB!

We've eaten here over a dozen times and I have to say, we're gonna be reluctant to go back. Sor sorry guys, but the new meat is flavorless and the taziki sauce was so runny, it was nasty, drippy and soggy. To much iceberg lettuce and there used to be a sprinke of feta on top of the gyro - gone. Were so bummed. :(

    Classic Gyro rocks!

My wife and I were driving and thinking of something different for lunch. We decided on Soulard Gyro, a restaurant that's popular on Yelp in the local area. Plenty of seating and restrooms were very clean. We agreed on a Greek Salad as our appetizer and the olives perfectly complimented the rest of the ingredients. My wife went with the chicken gyro, while I had the classic gyro. Both are well portioned with a nice balance of meat and veggies and tzatziki sauce which was clearly made fresh. Soulard also has a variety of side dishes as well as desserts to add to the experience. Overall a great decision for lunch. Soulard Gyro has several locations in the STL area if you're interested in getting a quality gyro for a reasonable price. Will be back for sure!

This place is amazing! I'm not usually a huge gyro guru. But, this place, dang! I got the one with avocado on it. California something? It was phenomenal. Excellent taste. It was huge too. Plus it had bacon...BACON!! I also had the fries with the feta and special sauce on them. They were excellent. I'll be honest, if every Greek place did gyros like this, I'd eat them every day. But they don't. What really sets Soulard Gyro apart - the gyros are stuffed full of ingredients, no bites of empty pita. Plus, the ingredients are fresh. The sauce also tasted better than a standard gyro joint. All in all, I will now seek this place out in the future. It's been a few weeks, and I'm still thinking about that gyro. This coming from a guy who doesn't love gyros!

This place gave my food to another customer and let him touch everything in the bag. When the other customer realized it was t his food the young lady tried to give me the same bag because it was my order. After asking if I can get a different order the same young lady tried to put the food in a different bag with plastic silverware and was angry when I asked for a refund. It's been COViD for a year and a half!!!!! Really!!!!!!!!

I just visited this location on November 15 therefore I have visited numerous times over the years but I wanted to share some new changes I noticed on my most recent visit. I'll order the chicken gyro salad and originally they accidentally made me the bowl with rice so they made me the salad which was great customer service there for the chicken gyro has changed significantly now it's just like a pulled chicken with a jerk like seasoning therefore it used to be the same shaved gyro meat as the lamb therefore I'm not sure when they changed this over. We also had an order with extra meat and there was no change between the order with extra meat in order with normal amount of meat. This could have been an error as well but it was still delivered wrong. I believe the overall taste of food has decreased significantly since I've been there last, and they shouldn't call the chicken gyro meat anymore instead call it pulled chicken. Fries also seemed to be cooked in a different oil or the recipe has changed as well. I'll show pictures of what the meat looks like now versus what the website shows it's suppose to look like.

Food was good, not stellar, and ridiculously expensive. A classic gyro and cheese bread was over $20.00 (no drink) Probably won't return.

First time and definitely not the last time!…read more Clean, decorative space upon entering. We were eating a very late lunch/early dinner at 3pm lol and there was no one else there. Once we arrived though, people starting coming in. There were probably 4-5 families for pick up and then 3-4 groups came to dine in during the span of time we were there and more just kept coming. I was craving falafel so I ordered the vegetarian plate so I could try a bit of everything. I read a review that said they had the best yalanji here and I COMPLETELY AGREE! My husband ordered the chicken schwarma sandwich in the pita and he INHALED IT. We also loved the fries too. It reminded me of halal guys. So addictive. I think it came with white sauce which was just as delicious. Wish I knew what was in it lol we were STUFFED, but we dined in so we could try the baklava ice cream sandwich and that did not disappoint. I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it but it was so good. My stomach shifted to make space! Falafel was perfect but again, the yalanji was probably my favorite part. I was so sad when I only had 2 left. We'll be back. :)

It was one of those busy days that requires a Snake Meal and I required tofu. I got a thai wrap with tofu (and chips), quinoa, green tea, veg dumplings, and a green tea. They were promptly delivered by a kid on a bike in the rain in a SEALED plastic bag, so everything was dry and fresh. The wrap came cut in half, I didnt notice until I already ate the butt on one side like a neanderthal. I ordered it just as it comes and it was GREAT. The peanut sauce is powerful.. thick and full of sweet umami flavor. I would have been fine eating just this, ut was def not bunny food. I popped a veg dumpling into the included sauce and oh my god I could have eaten 80 of them. I forgot to chew. Damn good dumpling from a chain. The quinoa falafel was good. Dry, but thats to be expected.. and I had tzaziki and hummus and jalapeno cilantro sauce and dumpling sauce and peanut sauce to make that a non issue. These would be great in a wrap, but they certainly have enough sauces to make this a viable side, appetizer, or entree by themselves. Chips are chips. I was happy to have them to sample the sauces. I liked all of them. I'm feeling pretty fat and happy and will be back for a bowl in the future. I completely shed my previous opinions of the place. Crazy!

But - when pulling up the menu, we couldn't decide on what we wanted to get and their roasted chicken takes an hour wait (which means we get freshly roasted chicken.) We ended up with a good lunch: beef/lamb gyro bowl, gyro sandwich, and hummus. Bro - the gyro bowl was BIG that I needed help from my husband to eat it. It was covered in white sauce, the meat slices were generous, and the rice was so nicely cooked and fluffy. My husband loved the gyro and was REALLY into the tzatziki. The hummus was so good, but it was much more than chickpeas. It was topped with an herb that I couldn't place, and I swear it had orange blossom in it. I absolutely look forward to their roasted chicken on our next visit!

The chicken wings is medium size pieces not whole wings. They were tossed in a lemon garlic sauce & fried to a crispy. They were really good would recommend. I needed a little more sauce but that's my preference. The lemon mint drink was really good and highly recommend it.
