Absolutely, amazing. Food, service, ambiance, EVERYTHING. My family and I stopped here while headed back to Columbia and we couldn't have picked a better place. We are all huge fans of gyros so I knew this local place would be the perfect spot for us. They have many options on their menu for all types of preferences, gyros, salads, kabobs, and lots of different appetizers. I got the classic gyro bowl, and my sister got the classic gyro, the bowl had some rice added and pita slices. So so so GOOD, very traditional and worth every penny spent. 10/10 would recommend if you know what good food tastes like. read more

It is very difficult finding anything other than regular fast food in Washington, Missouri. DTM Gyros is like an oasis in a sea of average fast food restaurant chains. They serve some of the best gyros I've had in a while. The loaded Greek fries (forgot the name) were excellent as well. This was our first visit to DTM after a recommendation from some friends. The restaurant is cozy, well-appointed and great for families. The service was pretty quick on a very busy Saturday evening, I think the phone rang with orders the entire time we were there. This was all great, but the FOOD?!?! The food was AMAZING!!! My husband and I had the bowls, my son had the chicken gyro and my daughter had the kids gyro pizza. We also shared the tzatziki appetizer with fresh pita. The portions were filling, the presentation was beautiful and the taste was out of this world. Needless to say, we will be back often. This sweet family-owned restaurant is a must-visit!! read more

This place is so yummy!!! We tried takeout from here for the first time tonight and we were happy with it. I loved the classic gyro, and my husband had a gyro bowl that he really liked! We also got chicken kebabs for our daughter and those were tasty. The portion sizes are more than enough in my opinion. Our food was ready quickly and my husband said the lady working was very friendly! The only thing I didn't love was the Greek fries. They tasted a little stale and didn't have many toppings. This might have been different if we ate in-person so I'll have to give them another try sometime! read more

This is a little place in a strip mall next to one of the biggest Walmart Supercenters in the country. You have to look to find it. And the name doesn't suggest that you will be getting great food. But it is well worth the effort to find it, and you MUST try this place! The food is ALWAYS fresh and fantastic. The portions are big. The food is flavorful and made to order, but quickly served. The owner is terrific! I have zero complaints. The place is spotless, too. Getting a good gyro is not easy around here, but hers are among the best I've ever had. I like this place pretty well. The owner is friendly and open. Decor is warm and inviting. We usually get a Gyro, Greek fries, Spanokopita and sometimes a Greek Salad. Prices are reasonable and except for the Spanokopita and of course the Sovlaki, everything is made when you order. I wish they would add Saganaki and a Greek Pizza to the menu. Portions are decent sized. The above order is around $23. Add a Greek Salad, it's $28 and change. Try them out. read more

What a Gem in Washington Mo! I love middle eastern food and hands down this is now one of my favorites for a quick bite. The owner is so welcoming and takes pride in making authentic cuisine. The portions are huge but so good you just cant stop eating. I just wish she would open a large restaurant here so I could get even more of her cooking! Good prices and definitely worth every penny. Looking forward to this place opening and finally had a chance to sample some of my All time favorites. If you have never had Greek food before, this would be a place to try. They have a great simple menu with many of the classics. Traditional gyro meat, soulvaki, spinach and cheese pies, flaffell, and Greek salads. As a traditionalist. I tried the gyro along with some Greek fries. The gyro was delicious and meat was very tasty. There was plenty of taziki sauce in it too. The fries were just fries with a small amount of feta sprinkled on top. They were good too but it was a very small portion for 3.50. The gyro was also more salad and pita than meat which is different than I have had in the past. Usually these things are loaded with meat and tHe salad on top. This was salad on the bottom with a few pieces of meat on top. It was tasty and delicious. I'll be back to try some of the other dishes soon. Good luck to them. read more

First impression: I had high hopes for this place but it was just average. Ordered the classic gyros and they were bland. The veggies didn't taste fresh. Not a lot of flavor and really cold. The gyro meat was dry and the fries tasted bad like the oil they used was old. The baklava was overly priced and not very big. Also tasted just okay. Probably won't be back anytime soon. First impressions are huge. read more
