    Buffalo chicken Greek salad

Love love love !!!!!!! Best buffalo chicken salad in the area in my opinion. Staff are all so friendly.

    Salad and dolatas.

This Greek family diner was really good. The service was phenomenal. The male portions were very considerate and the gyro plate was very tasty. I would definitely return.

Chicken skewers with pita bread, had a delicious flavor and was juicy, tender.

This Greek restaurant was delicious. Our waitress was very nice and helped with choosing from the menu. The restaurant was clean and had a lot of seating. I will definitely eat there again.

Fazzi's in Collinsville, Illinois is a true hidden gem -- the kind of family-run spot you might drive right past if you didn't know it was there. But once you stop in, you'll quickly see why so many locals keep coming back. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff treat you like old friends -- attentive, prompt, and clearly proud of what they serve. The flavors here are big and bold, with a menu that skillfully blends Greek, Italian, and American favorites. Their crab cakes offer a creative twist on the classic -- crisp on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned with just the right balance of herbs and spice. The salmon pasta deserves special praise: it's deeply herbaceous, buttery, and packed with rich flavor that lingers pleasantly. Hot chicken wings are another standout -- well-cooked, juicy, and spiced to perfection without being overwhelming.Every visit to Fazzi's feels like a great local discovery -- consistently delicious food, warm service, and a menu that never disappoints. It's well worth the short trip for anyone looking for a satisfying, flavorful meal in a comfortable setting.

    Chicken Picatta

Met 6 friends here for our monthly dinner gathering. Many of them had dined here previously so they all knew they wanted order a gyro plate. I think 5 of them did that esp knowing that they would have enough to enjoy it again the next day. Chicken piccata was my selection. The chicken was very tender and tasty. I was surprised at how much pasta I had along with chicken. Sauce was very good too with plenty of mushrooms and sautéed onions in there. House salad comes with the entrees. I ordered saganaki for the table and we all enjoyed that. They didn't renew liquor license after Covid so they allow you to bring in your own wine, which of course we did. Our waitress was efficient esp considering she had a very party in another room. She seemed bristly initially but once you got her talking she was friendly.

Had a very good lunch at Fazzi's today. I ordered the gyro salad with dressing on the side. It came with pita bread and tzatziki sauce (yum). Portion size was perfect for lunch at $13.99. Service was fast and friendly despite the fact that they were busy. They offer lunch specials from 11am-3pm. They have a nice variety of Greek, American and Italian options.

I like Gouda Cheese and it's not offered on a burger at many places, so I took advantage of this opportunity. Adding bacon to a burger is a no brainer, so the pairing was a winner. For a side, I went premium and enjoyed a side of house-made onion rings. OMG! These rings easily make my top three onion rings. They were huge, sliced thick, the onion still had a snap and the seasoning on the breading was super peppery, which I like. They offer a good variety of draft beers and we all know a cold beer goes well with a smash burger. My bartender was friendly and attentive. She was hustling serving the bar and tables in the bar area. She made everyone feel welcomed. When in Collinsville, I'll be sure to stop by again. They're adding pizza to the menu and I'll have to give it a try.

I really don't like burgers, but the person I was with got a burger and it was amazing and insisted I tried it and let me tell you, it was the best freaking burger I've ever tasted my entire life! I went there a second time, on a Saturday night, and it was very busy, but service was still very quick, my mixed drink was perfect, music was great, but not too loud where you couldn't hold a conversation and they even had security! I lived here in the late 90s and remember when it was on the corner of Clay Street, and I was drugged in by a couple of friends from high school, saying that they had the best food, I'm such a picky eater, and I didn't think I would be able to find anything at a place called chuckwagon, that I'd be willing to eat... oh, but I was wrong! They have something for every pallet and the food is all amazing! When I move back 14 years ago and saw it was no longer on the corner of Clay Street in 159, I literally felt a pain in my heart and I lived here for over a year before I mentioned to someone else how I was upset that Bert's was no longer around and how I couldn't believe it shut down, just to find out it hadn't, they had just moved a main street!! I was there with him 48 hours and oh my goodness how I had missed the awesome that is the Chuckwagon! Whenever I am asked what we should do for dinner by people who are in town visiting and they can't make up their mind on what cuisine they want, I tell him we're going to Bert's Chuckwagon, watch them, wrinkled their nose, tell them too late. I've made up my mind and that's where we're taking them and I get them there and I watch their eyes widen, as they try the food! Bert's is the best open secret Collinsville has to offer and if ever you find yourself, not sure where you wanna eat or have guests in town who can't decide between Italian/Mexican/chinese or just a good old burger, make the executive decision and tell them you're taking them to Bert's. Make sure that you emphasize the chuckwagon, watch their faces as they come to terms with what you just said and try and talk you out of it, but stay firm, stay quiet about what they're getting ready to walk into, and take them to Bert's!
