The food and drinks are always outstanding at Cleveland-Heath, but on Monday, it extra special. If you're wondering way, it's because on Monday they have Manhattans for $6 and a Meatloaf Dinner Special. If you are wanting a delicious home cooked comfort food meal, this Meatloaf dinner is what you need. You'll enjoy one large slice of gourmet meatloaf with a side of fresh green beans and fluffy whipped potatoes. At first I was bummed that there was no brown gravy on the potatoes, but once I started eating I realized I really didn't need it. Their rich buttery flavor was good enough. Their Manhattans are masterfully made and with the $6 price on a Monday, you need to use strong self-control. Otherwise, you may find yourself with a good buzz. Staff always provide good service, so I highly recommend visiting Cleveland-Heath when you're in Edwardsville.

Many years ago a friend and I sat at the bar for brunch and I've been hooked on C-H since. They've changed hands a few times, but the menu remains solid. Last night some friends and I sat on the patio and enjoyed the summer night. Ashley was our server and so friendly. She made some great recommendations. I ordered the chop-chop salad and fries for the table. My friends split wings (with homemade sriracha!) and the Mac. Deviled eggs and beignets too. All so good! Their fry sauce is amazing. We also enjoyed a few Happy Hour cocktails. An E'Ville institution. If you go for brunch on Saturday, order the breakfast rice -- it is life changing.

Such a vibe. I went to a dinner hosted in their event space. We had the best service from Eric. He anticipated and did a wonderful job learning names in a short time. The bar was on point. I enjoyed the Tiger's Blood cocktail, it tastes like summer. Everything on the buffet was good. I'm listing menu items that were my favorite by order: Chicken wings, Buffalo Dip, Brussel Sprouts, Charcuterie Board, Tacos (pull pork).

The wine selection is very nice. My husband had the Manhattan which he said was fabulous. The staff was great! Ambiance good. It is always clean. We'll be back

It's always nice to be pleasantly surprised when you change your dinner plans at the last minute. Instead of going to a place I thoroughly researched, I ended up at the closest place to me out of sheer laziness. Welcome to Cleveland Heath. Any time I see Peruvian chicken on a menu, it's almost a guarantee that's what I get. And now that I've had it here, it's gonna be difficult for me to sample the rest of this menu. Served with two sauces (Verdi, Amarillo), cilantro lime rice, and plantain. Simply delectable. Also started with a butternut squash soup which I found to be excellent. Sort of a light night for me, but will be coming back with many interesting items in my sights: gringo tacos, deviled eggs, crispy coconut cauliflower, local beets...it goes on and I'm excited to explore. Atmosphere is local bar-like. Not too stuffy and very casual. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Cozy neighborhood spot. They advertise elevated comfort food, and while the quality is there, it just wasn't the most interesting or memorable. The fixings (asparagus and grit cake) were better than the pork chop itself, and the burger was fine but a little greasy. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal however; one of the best I've had. It's a decent restaurant, but definitely not worth the hour long trek to get there. Favorite dishes: Mac and cheese

The one thing that really stuck out at this spot was the portion sizes. Massive! Somehow I still managed to order cherry pie after my huge brunch dish haha. Sandwich and veggie fries were decent enough. Mussels with beer sauce were OK. Cherry pie was definitely hittin. Not many spots do a warm cherry pie anymore so bonus points for that. Large spot inside and plenty of seating. Well worth a visit if you're in E-ville.

Is there anything greater that 5 Stars? Omg! We decided to check this restaurant out based on the reviews and not only did they not disappoint... the exceeded my expectations. Our server, Jordan was excellent and elevated the experience for first timers. The food was beautifully crafted, the presentation was as described and the first bite was sublime. After each new dish, I immediately looked at my sister to see her reaction and she was looking at me smiling. We both nodded in agreement! From the signature Manhattan and deviled eggs, to the best flavored brussel sprouts, shared breakfast rice, BLT, Beigneits, and Cherry Pie... we dined sufficiently. This was part one...we will be back for the dinner menu! Beautiful space, great ambiance and superb service! The 106 Crew remind you of the dining out of yesteryear. I would say to at least go once, but if you go once... you will definitely go again! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We came to Edwardsville to go to a different restaurant but we couldn't be seated there (no reservation) and Cleveland-Heath was our second choice. It was an awesome second choice! The service was quick and friendly which was great because we had a 7pm movie to catch. The restaurant is casual but nice for a date. The tigers blood cocktail was great. I loved it. The mushroom fondue appetizer was also very good. For our entrees I ordered the Kale salad after seeing numerous reviews mention it. The salad is phenomenal. Very fresh and dressing and cheese are perfect. I also ordered a biscuit to go with it. The cheddar biscuits were sooo good. The butter and jam were great with it too. My boyfriend ordered the pasta and added shrimp he really liked it. He loves shrimp and mozzarella balls so it was perfect. The sauce was delicious and very rich. I saw someone order the cherry pie and it looked amazing. Next time! We live in MO, but I'd return to this restaurant when back in Edwardsville.

Yummy! Yum. Yum. Searching for a local breakfast/lunch/dinner spot this is the place to go! Located on main street in Edwardsville. I was looking for something new to try and was not disappointed. I was blown away by everything! Our server was friendly and helpful. The deviled eggs were a tasty starter, followed by a steak salad. Everything is farm to table, and you can really taste the freshness of the food. My mom really enjoyed the chicken tacos as well, not too spicy lol. Also, I highly recommend trying the biscuits, sooo delicious! Light and cheesy on the inside, paired with homemade butter and jam. OhMyGod! Yum. Definitely should check this place out.

Went to Cleveland heath on a date with my partner. We came in around 3 and the mains weren't available yet. The appetizers were what we decided to go with-a bunch of them to try for fun. The service was great. I'm pretty sure our servers name was Katie and she did a great job. Mushroom fondue was the star. There were a variety of mushrooms in the deliciously flavored fondue and the buttery toasted white bread was a perfect pairing. Chips and salsa had excellent homemade chips. The salsa itself was fine. Clearly made with canned corn which is kind of a bummer and the flavor was fine. Easily something I could whip up at home. Crispy coconut cauliflower was super solid and tasty. I liked the cabbage underneath as well. We ordered the sweet and spicy wings. The wings themselves were tasty and cooked very well. These fell flat for me because the sauce was just a Thai sweet chili sauce and it had zero spice. Not spicy at all. I was pretty bummed they were just Thai sweet chili ones- wouldn't have ordered them. We ended our jaunt with the brown butter Rice Krispie to go. It was huge (seriously the size of a brick) and tasty and 5$. Great deal. The portions were plentiful for everything and the price was worth it. They only had 2 non alcoholic drink options. I'm pretty used to places like this having mock tails but oh well. Overall it's a nice place with good fresh food and we had a nice time.

An absolute gem. We went on a Saturday for lunch, not realizing it was a brunch menu until later in the afternoon. It wasn't crowded, and we were seated immediately. I wasn't in the mood for "breakfast" foods, so we got burgers and fries. But they weren't just *any* burgers and fries. The burgers were definitely above average, and the fries are what all French fries wish they were. I got a mix of russet and sweet potato- perfection. I also ordered a Pumpkin King cocktail- which was a mix of "pumpkin infused whiskey, grand marnier, maple, and apple cider" and it was fall in a glass. Delicious. I can't wait to go back and try some of the more adventurous menu items- and maybe brunch when I'm in the mood for breakfast!

Getting there and parking: My family, including a pre-teen, met up at Stagger in to visit with a couple of our friends. Parking was a small challenge. There is a large public lot on the same block, but it was full when I got there around 6:20pm on a Wednesday. There is minimal street parking. Luckily, I found a spot after a couple of times around the block. Walking in, you can see right away that it really is a no-frills tavern. There's not even traditional table service, though it's not exactly counter service, either. You sit down, decide what you want from the menu, walk up to the kitchen counter to place your order, and give the ticket the kitchen gives you to your server. However, the menu was much nicer than what I expected, with very fair prices! Appetizers ranged in variety from French fries and wings to fried pickles and spinach artichoke toasted ravioli, with prices ranging from around $4 to $8. Entrees included a variety of sandwiches, salads, and burgers from $4 to $8.50 or so. They even had vegetarian and pescatarian options, including a blackened tuna sandwich and a black beans burger! All three of us, including a picky pescatarian adolescent, found food we enjoyed! Beyond the food, the service staff was friendly and the bar service was adequate. In all, it was a really great place e together up with friends AND bring a kid--at 6:30 on a weeknight, at least! I would very much recommend this place to a group looking for a casual environment with good food at good prices! Atmosphere: Food selection & taste: Service: Price: I'm not sure if would be fair to give 4 starts based on the above, though, because I wasn't to rate it for what it is, not for what something else is. Overall, I give it a 4.5! Vegetarian friendly: yes (lacto-ovo)

Beer is my drink of choice when enjoying wings and it also gave me an opportunity to try the self-serve taps. It was a winning lunch. My wings were crispy and meaty and came with both Bleu Cheese and Ranch dips. I'm not a dipper when it comes to wings, but that is a nice touch. The fries, are house-cut and still had the skins on. Nice! They too, were prepared crisp the way a fry should be. The self-serve beer taps had a nice variety and were easy to operate. During my visit I sat at the bar and it provided me with great conversations with not only the bartender, but other diners who were quite entertaining. I'll definitely will be back, since I've been I have heard the salads and pizza are really good.
