We went for the beer wall and were not disappointed. Poutine is the best in the area.

They were a bit too salty for my taste, but otherwise were cooked well and the spiciness was just right. Service was good and it was dog friendly too with a doodle pooch sitting at a nearby table.

Craft Beer - Chicken Wings - Tots…read more I'm a fan of Global Brew Tap House. In my opinion, they have the best wings in Edwardsville and beyond. I've tried multiple sauces and cannot pick a favorite, because they all make my tastebuds dance. Pairing the wings up with a cold craft beer and a side of tots makes for a great lunch, a treat for Happy Hour and a super dinner. I am a stickler for the quantity of my flats and drums being the same and GBTH always serves me matching numbers. The wings are always good sized, crispy and meaty. Again, they are the best wings I have had on the Eastside of the Mississippi. This August they are doing, Pawgust. When you buy a craft beer from Alaskan Brewing Co. a $1 from ever beer goes to Gateway Pet Guardians. I drank an extra beer on my last visit and I will make sure to go back a couple more times during August. I like it when I can eat, drink and raise monies for a dog charity all at the same time. I always sit at the bar and the service is attentive and friendly. If the bartenders are friendly, I can only assume the table servers are equally as good. If you want wings and a craft beer, Global Brew is where you need to go.

Global Brew Tap House - Tasty little Havana sandwich. Tots are good. pretzel in the background was hard and crusty, I wouldn't suggest it.

Getting there and parking: My family, including a pre-teen, met up at Stagger in to visit with a couple of our friends. Parking was a small challenge. There is a large public lot on the same block, but it was full when I got there around 6:20pm on a Wednesday. There is minimal street parking. Luckily, I found a spot after a couple of times around the block. Walking in, you can see right away that it really is a no-frills tavern. There's not even traditional table service, though it's not exactly counter service, either. You sit down, decide what you want from the menu, walk up to the kitchen counter to place your order, and give the ticket the kitchen gives you to your server. However, the menu was much nicer than what I expected, with very fair prices! Appetizers ranged in variety from French fries and wings to fried pickles and spinach artichoke toasted ravioli, with prices ranging from around $4 to $8. Entrees included a variety of sandwiches, salads, and burgers from $4 to $8.50 or so. They even had vegetarian and pescatarian options, including a blackened tuna sandwich and a black beans burger! All three of us, including a picky pescatarian adolescent, found food we enjoyed! Beyond the food, the service staff was friendly and the bar service was adequate. In all, it was a really great place e together up with friends AND bring a kid--at 6:30 on a weeknight, at least! I would very much recommend this place to a group looking for a casual environment with good food at good prices! Atmosphere: Food selection & taste: Service: Price: I'm not sure if would be fair to give 4 starts based on the above, though, because I wasn't to rate it for what it is, not for what something else is. Overall, I give it a 4.5! Vegetarian friendly: yes (lacto-ovo)

Sneaky's Review - 4/25/26…read more Food: Really quite good. If you want a great burger--whether classic or a bit more eclectic-- some crispy tots, a fantastic soft pretzel with cheese, or the very best chili around, this is the place. Drinks flow continuously, and the bar conversation is always good. Atmosphere: A relaxed, laid-back vibe--especially when the windows are open. We enjoy the extra bar seating, and the back patio is a great spot as well. Staff: One of the best parts of Sneaky's is the people. It's always nice being recognized as a familiar face, and the entire team is consistently friendly and welcoming. A special shout-out to Jason for his command and control of the chaos on super busy nights--Jason multitasks effortlessly and keeps everything running smoothly. In my opinion, dealing with the public is an art form, and Jason is Sneaky's Bob Ross. Heather, Peyton, Dany, Alex, Rainey, and the rest of the crew are also fantastic. Yes, the food is great--but it's the staff that keeps us coming back. Sneaky's owners (Casey and Tyler) have not only reimagined what a great burger-and-beer spot can be, they have surrounded that food and drink with a staff that makes you feel like your with family. Well done guys.

I had the Irish Maid (St. Germain + cucumber + lemon = YES) and it was half off--just $6! We also shared a half bottle of bubbly because hydration, obviously. The food? It's basic bar fare, nothing to write home about but totally fine for snacking. The fried pickle chips were golden and crispy, and the loaded fries were covered in melty cheese and bacon--exactly what you want after a cocktail or two. The vibe is dark and cozy, with a classic Irish pub feel. Plenty of seating, TVs everywhere, and a laid-back atmosphere. Service was friendly but chill. Would I go back? 100%. It's not groundbreaking cuisine, but it's a fun, affordable spot for drinks and bites. Great for catching up with friends or kicking off a low-key night out. Tip: Come during happy hour. The cocktails are worth it, and your wallet will thank you. #TheSassySaint #HappyHourWin #YelpEliteEnergy #EdwardsvilleEats #CocktailsAndCravings

So if you're out for a long bike ride around seven circles, and want a great lunch spot, this is it! They have classic Irish pub food. Rubens, bangers and mash, shepherds pie, lots of stout beers, etc.. It's a little pricier than I would have hoped but everything we ordered was pretty amazing. Service was great. Our waitress Becca was very attentive and friendly and helpful, which I love. There were four of us in our party, but one of us didn't eat. Of the rest of us, one ordered the fish and chips, one ordered the corned beef and cabbage, and I ordered the Rueben with fries. I totally forgot to take pictures, so that's a bummer, because everything was not only quite tasty but presented well. I tried all three of these plates, and I would order any of them again. I loved my Rueben! I will definitely be back, and next time I'm going to try the shepherds pie. This place is definitely worth a look. Enjoy!
