Delicious food with very kind staff. Our food is always fresh and made to order. El greco is one of our favorite local spots.

Wow. Based on location I didn't expect much but OMG was I wrong! The owner served me and was so nice and helpful. The Greek Salad with gyro meat is INCREDIBLE! And such a great price. The container is absolutely stuffed (I put it in a bowl when I got home, sorry). It is flavorful, just the perfect amount of everything. Lettuce, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, green pepper, cucumber, purple cabbage, feta shredded carrots (maybe onions) and of course the added gyro meat! Delicious

The menu as of Nov '25 has items for die hard gyro lovers, American food lovers and can serve kids too. Try the baklava, a special treat.

What a nice surprise. I was looking for a Gyro place and was blessed to find El Greco right on 94. Raoul and Juana are so nice. I look forward to seeing them every time I drive to the area. And the food! My favorite is the Lamb Gyro. I love to get the Family Deal to take home with me. It travels perfectly and surprises my family with something special every time. The prices have to be the best in the state.

Really had a craving for gyros. Found this little place online. What a great place! Easy to get if you're on the north side of St Charles. Will be putting this store in our restaurant rotation!!!

Actually, a great little place out in New town! Everything is fresh the lamb and the chicken gyros are excellent! The staff is friendly and the food is even better! We for sure will be back. We were even instructed how to say Gyro correctly. And the baklava was really sweet and rich

This place is relatively new and fairly simple in terms of interior/exterior decor, but the small menu is PACKED with great options and the portions are very generous. Everything is fresh and you can see the quality ingredients as they're building your order. The gyros and salads are all made to order so you can customize to your hearts content. The owner and his employees have always been friendly, engaging, and helpful. You won't leave hungry that's or sure. They will pile on the meat and veggies whether you order a salad or the gyros. They have a limited selection of drinks in a refrigerator cabinet "self serve" style. There's also some appetizers and desserts to choose from. The stuffed grape leaves are a favorite of mine, but there's also baklava for the sweet tooth. Great small local business with a friendly, dedicated owner. The kind of place you want to spend your money at and El Greco give you plenty of reasons to return.

Another day another review. Today is El Greco a Mediterranean restaurant located in St. Charles. El Greco delivers on good food and reasonable prices. We're Gyro fans and found a place closer to home. El Greco provides classic Greek fanfare with traditional music to enjoy while you wait. Wife ordered the chicken gyro and I went with the classic gyro. All the traditional condiments complement the meal and did I mention large portions? One gyro can easily feed two people but we were really hungry from all the post thanksgiving shopping. Only issue and not a complaint was the chicken was really overcooked but still made dish delicious. Mediterranean salad is what we also looked forward to and didn't disappoint! Restaurant was extremely clean and tables serviced very quickly. El Greco has seating for eat in as well as serving take out as Boeing is located next door and frequently visits during lunchtime. We're coming back and recommend anyone in the area to give them a try!

Fantastic! Go it's very authentic.worth it, local as and visitors, tucked away in San Jose Del Cabo!

Finally had a chance to try them today! Awesome portions for the price and no lack of good flavor in the items we ordered. You can tell the owners are proud of the food they make and are very generous and kind people. Dined in as well and the place was very clean and well kept. I REALLY hope this spot gets more traffic as they deserve it and the food doesn't disappoint. We will happily be returning to try more of the menu!

I had EL Greco bookmarked for a bit and had been wanting to try it. It's on 94 all the way to where boats access the river. For some reason I had in my mind it was closer to Main Street but that's cool. I ordered the gyro with feta and no tomato. It was very good. Fresh vegetables and spiced right. If I had one complaint it is that the meat was slightly dry. Not sure how long that cone was spinning. I opted to take my gyro to go as it was very quiet there. I'd go back if in this area again.

I read other reviews and immediately that I wanted to try their lemonade with mint, which was heavenly. It was extremely refreshing, not too sweet, not too sour, tiny chopped leaves of mint floating around like confetti. I ordered the lamb shank, a plate of pickles, and also ordered falafel and avocado dip to go. The lamb was very well seasoned and fall of the bone tender. The accompanying cucumber bits in yogurt sauce was refreshing. The side of mushrooms with carrots and corn kernels that came with the dish was mediocre, particularly since the consistency and look of the mushrooms looked like they came from a can, but I may be wrong. The plate of pickles was delightful. I will admit that I was very disappointed because I had read that lentil soup would be complementary with main dishes when anyone dined in until 4 PM, but I'd never had any lentil soup at all, unless I am mistaken about the offer. Service was fast, even though there was only one server, who was, by the way, very polite and attentive. All in all, I will be back and I might actually end up being regular here.

Great experience and will be back, highly recommend Layali Halab, give them a try.

Hadn't been there before but had driven past and wondered, glad we went! When my friend saw they had hot mint tea she said this was definitely the right place for lunch. We both ordered some and are happy we did! We decided to order a couple of things and share. We had the falafel and the mixed grill. Since she has a seafood allergy we asked to be sure things would be cooked and served separately and I love that they put the shrimp on a small plate on it's on. The falafel was perfect, the sauces (a chili sauce and something tahini or yogurt based were good with it as was the pita bread. The mixed grill had three skewers - chicken, beef and shrimp. Each had uniquely yummy flavors. It came with rice, some grilled veggies and some pico like tomato salad. Confess the baklava looked great as we were leaving. Appreciated the hospitality of the person waiting on us. We talked a bit and discovered he was from a country my friend had been to previously. He offered great service paying attention but not hovering.

I'm surprised they don't charge more because after purchasing I always find myself saying something along the lines of "I can't believe they don't charge more for this deliciousness". I've tried their baklava before I knew it wasn't vegan, and it left such a memorable mark on my tastebuds. I wish there were a vegan option, but that's just me being me. I've had their hummus too, but because it's a consistent grocery purchase of mine I don't get it as much when I come here. The picture attached to this review has falafel from Kaslik. The other food was something I prepared earlier in the day for dinner, and then I realized falafel from Kaslik would go perfectly with it.
