House salad, fried calamari, and filet modiga with fettuccini Alfredo.

Somehow we didn't know about this restaurant right next door to the Hilltop Schnucks, but I'm so glad we found it! The people are so friendly, great family atmosphere and family owned. The food was amazing! We order a salad, appetizer and dinner to share between the two of us and loved everything. The bread was warm and perfect, which we dipped in the olive oil/balsalmic. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Bar and waiting area.

Pretty good but not life changing. Flavor of pasta was pretty good but not fantastic. Really garlicky salad and flavor of cream sauce needed to be more creamy . I had chicken Sicilian. Server recommended it over every chicken dish or broccoli pastas. It was ok. Expensive for two small pieces of chicken. Paid extra for upgrade to pasta with marinara sauce. It was best thing. This place is busy. Even on Thursday night. Mostly locals where servers knew their names. Nice bar to have a drink and Blues game on. Two dinners and two salads with waters and tip cost $74.00. Ouch. Call for reservations.... Every person that walked in they asked if they had reservations. We did and they sat us quickly. I would give experience 3 1/2 but not quite 4. Would go for pasta and stay away from chicken. Cool outside patio for warmer weather!

Came here for a weekday dinner, they have several tables reserved and I was glad we also had a reservation. Server was very attentive and friendly. Good food and good wine nothing I could've asked for more- we got seafood ravioli and lamb for entree. Lamb was ok, little tough. probably because we ordered medium, should've gone with medium rare. It's a cute little place tucked in next to chesterfield Schnucks!

They put my pizza in a brown paper bag and this was the result

Average at best. If you don't live in the area it's not worth the drive to as there are far superior places then this. It's in a plaza and supposedly was 'classy' dress according to what I read but when we walked in, people in jeans and hoodies. Great, now I'm over dressed, fine. My partner knows someone there so if it wasn't for them, we probably would still be waiting. The service outside of the person we knew left a lot to be desired, they kept conversing with regulars and passing over us to when we were ready to order. When we got our food, the food wasn't bad but again, unless you live in the area you can probably find just as good food in your area. I had ordered a pizza to go with our leftovers and had it sitting with the leftovers on top and went to the restroom and when I came back it was put in a brown paper bag. Now I didn't think nothing of this but when I got home, well, the pizza was on its side so it had all stuck to the top of the box and it's now inedible. The juices from the leftovers also spilled into the box too which is just awesome. So those are the reasons alone why I won't be returning.

Tiramisu

Took my wife for her birthday thoroughly enjoy our meals. Her special reward was the tiramisu for dessert. Service was outstanding and very personable. A definite do again.

FULL HOUSE! Everyone was looking at our table…read more.. My husband said, "I'm taking you out to dinner Saturday night." And boy did he deliver. Neither of us had been here, but a friend recommended we go. It was on my list of restaurants to try so I was more than happy to go! We were served by Shannon. Shannon had such a wonderful sense of humor telling my husband no phones or watches at the dinner table he also kept the bread coming. Like I said, it was a full house so we were eating bread for a while. It was so worth the wait though. My husband got the benedito's farfalle since his favorite pasta is bow tie and I ordered the Rigatoni alla Nino. Mine was delicious and the perfect amount of spicy. The salmon was UGH. Chef's kiss, but my husband's order? I WOULD GET THAT TOO. He ate two baskets of bread though. Lucky for me. I told him he better ask for the rest of his to go because it will have my name written all over it! I was so close to finishing mine but alas, I was too full. Luckily not full enough because we got this dessert. This secret dessert lol what a show. It was made at our table. (I love when restaurants do this) it looked like vanilla bean ice cream with amaretto, a sauce I couldn't tell what that was, and sliced almonds. I am sure I'm missing other ingredients but HOLY COW. Everyone in the restaurant was staring. It was quiet the show. I was scared my hair would go up in flames but he's a pro. That would not happen. The first visit but certainly not the last. We will be back and we will be bringing everyone we know!

The linguine di mare was enjoyable, though somewhat heavy-handed with butter and garlic, which slightly overshadowed the dish's balance. Unfortunately, the service significantly detracted from the overall experience. Despite having a reservation at 6:30pm, and a simple order for two, our entrées did not arrive until approximately an hour after ordering. The delay was excessive and ultimately forced us to leave as soon as the food arrived, leaving us to hastily eat a few bites from the styrofoam to-go containers rather than enjoy them as intended. Given the $160 price point, the experience fell well short of expectations, making it difficult to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I had been a few times in the past but it was my family's first time. I don't drink alcohol and they have a great mocktail section! I got the NOPE-rol Spritz, it was delicious! My family and I split the white truffle fries and ciabatta as appetizers and they all got pasta dishes that they loved. I got a pizza (the Arugula) and unfortunately I feel as though I ordered wrong (which was my own fault), I didn't really care for it. When you took a bite it was like all the toppings fell off on the first bite. I think they cut the pizza before putting the toppings on which just made it harder to eat. I think the best part of the night was the service. We had Grace as our waitress (she was training another girl, but unfortunately I don't remember her name). They did a fabulous job - Grace did a wonderful job training her! It felt like we were at one of the more elevated Napoli's like Napoli III. They were so attentive and gave us great suggestions. The food will be very familiar from the perspective that everything we had was excellent. We started with calamari, and to our surprise there were also a small group of onion straws on the plate. It was served with 2 sauces (one marinara and one aioli - both were excellent). Don't skip the fried lemons, they are an added treat. We then moved on to the Napoli salad, it is as described on the menu...crisp, and appropriately dressed. Then we had the special pizza of the evening, it was a black garlic base (not strong) with mushrooms and burrata on top - delicious. We also happen to be sitting next to the area with the pizza oven - a must see if you are there. We did sit inside, but outdoor seating was available. What might not be so familiar, but I thought was great, was a more casual atmosphere, and decor, I would classify is as upscale casual. Our server was very pleasant, the only thing that surprised me was the time in between courses seemed a bit longer than expected, but that gave my friends and I a chance to catch up. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and I will be back!

The interior of the restaurant is bright and welcoming and classy. I enjoyed the greenery and the hedge walls as a back drop and the warm orange umbrellas seen from my seat on the patio. I chose to sit inside but I was put in a corner. While my server was attentive, I felt like he zipped off as soon as he came by or dropped something off so I didn't get that personal touch read about in other comments. I also never got a fresh refill of any drinks and soft drinks are 3.50! I ordered the salmon crostini and tacchino sandwich. And while the ingredients were fresh and plentiful, and it left me wanting more: more toast on the crostini as it was soft and flimsy with the salmon which is also soft and flimsy, wanted more tomato flavor in the tomato goat cheese mousse, wanted more goat cheese spread and fruit compote on the sandwich to offset the density of the turkey. Everything was very one note and a variance in texture. The fries and ranch were excellent. They were hot and crispy and the ranch was addictive. I wouldn't mind giving Gio another chance, maybe at dinner.

Our server was awesome, the meals were great, I'll start with the server, he brought us a couple of drinks and left us to look over the menu. I filled my glass with a bottle of beer and noticed the glass was chipped along the rim. The place was hopping so I didn't get to catch him until he took our food order. I showed him the glass and he apologized and said he'd be back after putting in the order. In just a couple minutes he returned with a new glass, new bottle of beer and another apology. I've had similar issues at other facilities but he handled it better, and more professionally than any of them. I did think the manager could have stopped by, not looking for a free drink just to say we're sorry... my date and I both had their version of the choose two section. She had loaded baked potato and said it was great, and she got the chicken breast sandwich which she said was very good. To drink she had a margarita, no salt, and said it was good. I had the wedge salad and it was so large I couldn't even try my sandwich. I did eat it at home and the salmon blt was very good. I recommend this place and while we lucked out hitting a busy place on a Friday night without reservations, my date beat me there and got seated when a table opened up. The host took me to the table the moment I said I was meeting a lady there. Parking can be tuff, my date parked several rows away from the entry and if it had been raining that would have been a pain. I believe the location is the old Wild Horse Creek Pub on Long road. Bar service was great, table service was lacking. We started with a few drinks (margaritas) and they were quite good. For dinner, we had the filet mignon with potatoes and green beans as well as the creamy Cajun pasta. The filet was overcooked, but had really good flavor, the green beans with bacon were lackluster. The Cajun pasta was quite tasty, but it really lacked protein (only a few slices of a sausage and a few shrimp). We had the salted caramel bread pudding for dessert, it was good, but I probably wouldn't get it again. Overall, the experience was okay, food was good enough. Worth a try if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Otherwise, this would have been a one-star review. I have a friend that I don't get to see very often, and we like to get together for dinner occasionally. Our go-to place used to be The Cheesecake Factory at Chesterfield Mall, which no longer exists, so we've been looking for a new place that's about a halfway point for both of us. We've tried a few places, but they just didn't grab us enough to make any of them our new meeting place. We tried The Old Spaghetti Factory a few months ago, and we liked it so much that we both felt we had finally found a place we liked well enough to make it our new spot. Then we came back. In the few months since we were last there, they've drastically changed how they operate. Now, you are REQUIRED to purchase a three-course meal, whether you want one or not. ALL entrees come with a mandatory salad and a mandatory scoop of ice cream for dessert, neither of which I had the slightest interest in. Too bad. It's required. I never touched my salad, and when it came time for ice cream, I just asked our waiter not to bring it. I wasn't going to eat it, and it would have been wasted, just like the salad. I don't mind the concept of a three-course meal, because maybe some people want that. I'm just not one of them. I don't like being told what I have to order, whether I want it or not. I fully support having that as an option, but a demand? We won't ever be back.

The first time was a great impression. My fiancé at the time ordered a margarita pizza which was delicious. I ordered a garganelli pasta with some sort of red sauce and beef. It left a lasting impression that made us want to come back for more! The impression was so lasting that I made a reservation for my bachelorette dinner to be here but the pizza I ordered fell very short. I think I ate once slice and left everyone else eat it. We got about 3 different other pizzas and they were just okay. The arancini was good and the blue crab pasta was really good and I was like okay I'll order that next time. It was also to celebrate my birthday and they brought out this dessert and the clove flavoring was so bold I spit it out. It was actually not good at all. I felt bad because they gave it to me for free so I just said I was way too full to finish. (First two visits food pics were on my previous phone so I do not have those any longer!) The third visit, I ordered the blue crab pasta and for the price there was barely anything in the bowl for one, but there were also these small chunks of lemon in it and I could not see it so I bit into it with the peel and it was so sour that it just ruined it for me. Ordered the arancini again but there wasn't enough sauce. The burrata was good though. I feel like I can't catch a break lol The last time I went (last night) we rock paper scissored between the shrimp toast and burrata. Shrimp toast won and I had really great shrimp toast from Indo so this fell flat and then I ordered the garganelli with kale and sunflower seeds and it really wasn't anything great and I've come to realize that this place is overrated and I really think it's psychological because there only open certain days of the week and they're so booked out so it MUST be fantastic, but it's just.. good. That's probably the last time I'll go. I feel a lot better spending my money at Katie's. It's more of a 2.5 star rating but I can't do halves and 2 seems like I hated the place but I didn't. It just really fell short the last 3 visits when other places are just so consistent with quality, Noto has been consistent with disappointment. Hot take, I know from other reviews, so take what you will. Other notes * it's pretty loud so prepare to speak up * very small waiting area - more like an aisle really and an outdoor four person space deck with a door leading to a ramp * even if you make a reservation, the exact time isn't guaranteed until the party before you leaves and they don't rush customers (good if you're the one dining, not so good if you're waiting -- had to wait the night of my bachelorette * no tiramisu a tragedy really * dim lighting so very romantic / love the aesthetic * though it's listed as classy, I've seen men wearing cargo shorts, people wear sweats... disrespectful in my opinion but no strict dress code
