    PEPPERCORN RANCH Salad

I'm a fan of Dewey's pizza and hadn't been there for quite a while for some reason. We finally rectified that and I'm so glad we did! They have great pizzas and salads. Everything is fresh and tasty. They are so consistent! Nothing has ever been "off" when we've had their food. The service is also consistent and we've always had good service. Three of us went there for dinner the other night and ordered two 17" pizzas so that we would have leftovers for a few lunches. It was a lot of pizza! But it's good leftover! We'll definitely be back and we won't wait so long this time!

I will never get tired of Dewey's. In my opinion, it's the best pizza in St. Louis! Keep up the great work

We got there around 500pm on a Friday and by 530 almost every table was full. The service was great and the pizza crust was perfect. I really liked the salad as well and was glad to see it was mixed greens and not iceberg. This was recommended from a local family member since we were in town from a different state. I will for sure be back here when I'm back in town.

Walked in on a busy night and we were seated right away. Quick service. Food came right out. Tons of TVs to keep the teenagers entertained with football. We all did our own pizzas and they were all delicious! They offer Hank's cheesecake for dessert also!

Update to the review. Restaurant and food is still excellent. Order online is easy and fast. Customization allows us to get exactly what we want. Curbside service and the staff quickly brings the good to your car. Plenty of parking spots to wait. Just text your name and spot number. Staff extremely friendly. On to the food. Still excellent. The salads are top notch. The pizzas are top notch. I had the beet salad and the peppercorn ranch salad. Both were fresh, crispy, flavorful. I would get both again. I got the 17" pizza with pepperoni and roasted garlic. Delicious. Not greasy. Pro tip. You can get some free dips with the pizza, I selected the ranch and it's one of the best ranch. Deweys is one of the top pizza options around. Highly recommend.

They always have the freshest pizza toppings. Their salads are really good too, especially the peppercorn ranch salad.

Ordered pick up this evening, just a simple sausage and cheese pizza, and the quality was terrible. Definitely not Dewey's usual caliber.

I had the Colombian Lentil Soup and rice. I'd come in any day just to have that soup. It probably won't happen because the BBQ and sides are so good, but it would be worth a trip in and of itself. I ordered the 3Mix combination play which lets you choose 3 meats including ribs if you would like. The ribs incur a minor up charge but worth it. I had brisket, turkey and ribs with green beans and slaw as my sides and the plate comes with a piece golf their cornbread and a little honey butter. The sides were very good especially the green beans. Wonderful flavor including just a little char and garlic. The slaw uses their Bianca Sauce as the dressing and that Bianca sauce is the best Alabama style white sauces I've had in the St. Louis area. The meats were all well smoked, held, and served, as you can see from the photo. The turkey retained its moisture and was seasoned perfectly. It was a perfect pairing with the Bianca sauce. The brisket wasn't just over trimmed dry flat cut. It was lightly trimmed so retained some perfectly rendered fat and was the epitome of 'the tenderness'. I enjoyed it with the sweet and Memphis sauces. The ribs were absolutely perfectly seasoned, smoked, held and served as well. They were not fall off the bone. Though pull-able they required you to bite the meat off the bone but tender clean bites were definitely what I got on the 4 short end bones I received. These paired best IMO with the Jalapeño Carolina sauce and the Memphis sauce. That Jalapeño Carolina sauce is their best and is a nice variation of a South Carolina mustard sauce with just a little pepper bite. Good stuff. If you like good BBQ served well get by 3Mix BBQ soon. Show them some love.

There is a good sized patio out front on the parking lot. The inside also has a fair amount of seating - seats at the bar, high top tables, and regular tables. It was pretty warm, so we dined inside. Our server was Angie and she was great! She was very friendly and spent a few minutes talking to us about menu items. She also checked up on us throughout our time there to make sure everything tasted good, etc. We ordered drinks and then got serious about ordering. So many things sounded really good, but decisions were finally made. We shared loaded tots to start. They were good, but the word "loaded" is a stretch. There should have been more toppings in the tots. I know the photo looks like there's a lot, but there wasn't much cheese sauce, sour cream, or bacon. My husband got the smoked wings and said they were really good! I got two tacos - one brisket and one bbq shrimp. They were okay. The shrimp taco was pretty good, but it had a little too much sauce on the shrimp and it overpowered the other flavors. The brisket was extremely dry. We'll more than likely be back!

The food was just okay and didn't really stand out, especially for a special holiday event. Service was also a bit subpar things felt slow and not very attentive throughout our visit. That said, I'd still come back to enjoy the space and order from the regular menu, since the environment is really what made the visit enjoyable. The chicken wings are nice and crispy but they werent sauced. The sauce came on the side and not near enough to cover 10 wings. You may want to consider adding an additional cup to the order or toss the wings. I also ordered the chicken queso and the photo on Door Dash looked appealing...however there was barely any queso and a small thimble sized offering of Pico de gallo. The establishment does not allow special instructions and I would've preferred more queso if you are going to advertise this dish as a chicken queso dish

I'm not sure what this place even is, despite having dined there yesterday. It serves breakfast,…read morelunch and dinner, and doesn't seem to specialize in anything in particular. It's in a weirdly large building that looks like a place where you'd go to get lasik surgery. I visited after a run on a day where the heat index was like 109, so I didn't spend that much time inside, just enough to drip sweat all over the front counter and the floor in the vestibule. We sat outside in an area that seems like the place where you'd pull up and unload your luggage at a hotel. A member of our group says she once attended some sort of Xmas pop-up in the basement here where you were charged a cover and then expected to pay for drinks and pizza, so... uh, caveat emptor. We ordered at the little bar up front, but I'm not sure if that's also the case if you dine inside. These places always flip out when there's umpteen different people ordering separately, because they only have but so many of those numbers you set on the table so they know where to bring your food. It ended up not being an issue with us, because who else was going to engage in al fresco dining during a heat advisory? This place serves pizza, but it didn't look that good in the few photos I saw. Granted, food often looks like crap in Yelp photos. Also, there's an emphasis on '90s-style health food, organic ingredients and what have you. There's a Salmon BLT that's featured prominently that seemed like it might be the thing to get, but I didn't know enough about this place to be ordering fish, and I'd already been meaning to eat a bacon cheeseburger for the past several days. Maybe next time. There is no bacon cheeseburger as a separate menu item unto itself. I figured I might just order a cheeseburger and add bacon, but I'm not sure if that's an option, and this wasn't a regular cheeseburger. It had a few different weird cheeses on it, spinach and maybe some other things. Then I saw the Dill-bert, which seemed like it might be really good. It has, among other things, dill Havarti cheese (whatever that is), avocado, and of course, bacon. It's served on a wheat bun, which, whatever. Its name is not a tribute to Scott Adams, as far as I know, but this is Ballwin. The Dill-bert did not disappoint. No Diddy. The beef comes from one of those special farms where the cows are all given names as if they were human beings, groomed on a daily basis by trafficking victims and read bedtime stories, and you really can taste the difference. It's a better quality meat. It's also expertly prepared. It's well-seasoned and cooked until it develops a nice char on the exterior. It was a bit more done on the inside than I require, but that may have been unavoidable. For a side, there was an option of tater tots cooked in an air fryer, like if your mom was feeling lazy. I didn't see any french fries, but maybe I'm going blind. I ordered a side salad, which is my thing these days. Sometimes they're surprisingly good, and a french fry is a french fry, unless you're at McDonald's. This one was pretty good, but it was definitely on the health-food side of things--very fresh and lightly but sufficiently dressed with something citrus-y and not too oily. Oh, and I was duped into purchasing a whiskey sour slushie. It just seemed like it would be so refreshing. It must have cost nearly as much as my meal, given what my bill came out to. They must think I'm a sucker. Did they receive advance notice of my visit? It did kinda hit the spot, and I probably got drunker than I would have otherwise, because I was suffering from a minor heatstroke, so there was that.
