DOUBLE BURGER
John K.

I ordered a double burger with ketchup and pickles and a vanilla shake. The burgers were not overcooked and seasoned well. The meat are a little light on flavor. The vanilla shake was very tasty. Very good customer service and follow up. I think it was the manager who came out to the dining room asking people about their meals.

A little hi has wonderful workers who greeted kindly and assisted patiently. Seasoned fries that were perfectly crunchy as well as soft to chew. The fries were thick and surprisingly the best part of my meal. Something about smash burgers usually are a miss for me but I was shocked to find this one was the perfect match for my taste. Plenty of meat even after the smash AND NOT A SINGLE BURNT PIECE! SUCCESS!

Food: 4 stars Service: 4 Stars Thrilled that more eateries like A Little Hi are expanding out in West County. The smash burgers here are juicy and dripping with flavor. Ordered a double and added cheese and jalapeños for a kick. Pair it some classic fries and a cold chocolate milk stout from 4Hands Brewing Co for a happy time! Definitely satisfied my craving for a fat burger (and a little food coma).

Cowboy Burger with Fries. This is a burger for professionals!

Finally found the time to visit a Little High, a smaller version of the St. Louis restaurant chain. Located in Ballwin , MO, you'll find a great experience with delicious items for every palette. Wife went with the salad and unfortunately at this location chicken is not a side to add. Salad serving was big enough you didn't miss it and the cilantro lime dressing complimented it perfectly. My daughter and I were feeling frisky and went all in on the Cowboy Burger. A delicious double cheeseburger, served with onion rings, bacon and bbq sauce. Burger wasn't big enough so we added lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. I also went bigger and grabbed an order of seasoned fries. Both burgers were huge and could be shared easily, but very good. A little hi has impressive milkshakes, but didn't get one this visit (aka we're coming back) and gonna get one next time. Manchester boulevard can be hectic to enter the parking lot, so patience is needed! Seating is limited and not favorable for large groups. All orders are made to order so order a shake and enjoy while you wait. Great experience and will be back!

Always excited to see a new business in town ESP one that I had good experiences with in the past at another location. We went late lunch time so it was not too crowded though it did completely fill while we were there. Outside eating was a challenge with the wind but we made due! The place was clean and inviting. The staff was welcoming and not in a rush to get done with you to get the next customer. They offered suggestions, made combos out of our orders, and were very friendly. We grabbed a table, filled my Tea, and didn't have to wait to long to get the food delivered to the table. My friend was already on his way to enjoying his shake! The food was a bit on the greasy side. Not sure if grease or excess butter. My friend said her burger was just OK and I though the same of my sandwich. The tots had WAY to much salt. I am glad they put fill paper towel rolls at the table since we both ended up constantly wiping our hands. Maybe next time I just get his awesome looking shake.

The food was all good. Quick service and employee was very friendly. The burgers were above average, and the fries were outstanding. Kids had grilled cheese meals that were a good size for them. Prices were a little high, but I guess that is to be expected nowadays. Inside is nice but a little small. There are only three booths and a few tables. They do have outside seating, and much of that is covered. Some interesting/cool decorations on the walls and alien adorned napkin holders. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. My wife and I both ordered the Arch DLux and enjoyed it. Hers had a gluten-free bun that looked better than any I've seen elsewhere.

We were 11th in line when we signed up, and by the time we arrived, we had moved up to 5th. Since it was raining, we decided to wait in the car. When we reached 3rd in line, we were unexpectedly removed from the waitlist. I tried calling the phone number listed on Yelp, which was the same number displayed on the building, but it went straight to what sounded like a personal cellphone voicemail. We decided to go inside anyway and discovered the waitlist wasn't necessary because there were plenty of tables available. The menu had a lot of interesting options, although I wish it included photos of the dishes. We ordered the Hawaiian Bowl, the Truffle Burger, and what I believe was the Blueberry Jam Burger, along with regular fries and sweet potato fries. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and each bun was stamped with the Circle 7 branded logo, which was a nice touch. The Hawaiian Bowl was delicious and generously portioned. I had enough left over for another meal. The atmosphere is definitely more of a sports bar than a traditional restaurant. Every wall seemed to have multiple TVs, making it easy to watch the soccer matches from just about anywhere in the dining room. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and checked on us several times throughout the meal. Before leaving, we couldn't decide on just one dessert, so we ordered the dessert sampler. The cobbler was the standout--it tasted homemade, especially the crust, and all of the desserts were served with ice cream. The only disappointment was the brownie, which was quite hard instead of soft and fudgy. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the service. The only downside was the confusing Yelp waitlist experience, which could definitely use some improvement.

You can order a special bowl or do a build your own like I do. My go to protein is the sweet chili tofu. There are also al la carte like fried pot stickers, tempura shrimp, and sweet potato fries. They do have kid portions so the whole family can get full. For dessert they have cute red bean or matcha ice cream sandwiches. Get a taro milk tea for a drink or try the mango slush! The service is always fast and I have seen them wash their hands every time I go in. This location is not wheelchair accessible without a few obstacles but if you order ahead, they can bring it to your car.

Overall, 4.5 rated for their high quality foods and friendly service; casual ambience for dine-in, but also great takeout. A pricier fast casual eatery, expect to pay ~$14-15pp for a bowl meal, but totally worth it. And you can share a bowl if 2 of you do not have super large appetites. Choose your faves for a "made to order" bowl - enjoy fresh Tuna, Salmon, House-made crispy Hei Hei Chicken or Tofu along with plenty of veggie combos, rice and special sauces. Or try one of their Specialty combos - a fave was the Wasabi Wave with Spicy Tuna, Shrimp, greens, cucumber, carrots, and ginger. I liked adding a side (~$6-8) of their crispy shrimp or Shiitake mushroom potstickers - all so tasty! Friendly counter service for ordering and food pick-up or use their app to order in advance. Casual dine-in tables or enjoy small patio seating. Overall, a really nice change of pace (from a burger spot) to enjoy a flavorful, quick relaxed fresh seafood meal. Definitely will be coming back often...ENJOY!!!

I'm not sure what this place even is, despite having dined there yesterday. It serves breakfast,…read morelunch and dinner, and doesn't seem to specialize in anything in particular. It's in a weirdly large building that looks like a place where you'd go to get lasik surgery. I visited after a run on a day where the heat index was like 109, so I didn't spend that much time inside, just enough to drip sweat all over the front counter and the floor in the vestibule. We sat outside in an area that seems like the place where you'd pull up and unload your luggage at a hotel. A member of our group says she once attended some sort of Xmas pop-up in the basement here where you were charged a cover and then expected to pay for drinks and pizza, so... uh, caveat emptor. We ordered at the little bar up front, but I'm not sure if that's also the case if you dine inside. These places always flip out when there's umpteen different people ordering separately, because they only have but so many of those numbers you set on the table so they know where to bring your food. It ended up not being an issue with us, because who else was going to engage in al fresco dining during a heat advisory? This place serves pizza, but it didn't look that good in the few photos I saw. Granted, food often looks like crap in Yelp photos. Also, there's an emphasis on '90s-style health food, organic ingredients and what have you. There's a Salmon BLT that's featured prominently that seemed like it might be the thing to get, but I didn't know enough about this place to be ordering fish, and I'd already been meaning to eat a bacon cheeseburger for the past several days. Maybe next time. There is no bacon cheeseburger as a separate menu item unto itself. I figured I might just order a cheeseburger and add bacon, but I'm not sure if that's an option, and this wasn't a regular cheeseburger. It had a few different weird cheeses on it, spinach and maybe some other things. Then I saw the Dill-bert, which seemed like it might be really good. It has, among other things, dill Havarti cheese (whatever that is), avocado, and of course, bacon. It's served on a wheat bun, which, whatever. Its name is not a tribute to Scott Adams, as far as I know, but this is Ballwin. The Dill-bert did not disappoint. No Diddy. The beef comes from one of those special farms where the cows are all given names as if they were human beings, groomed on a daily basis by trafficking victims and read bedtime stories, and you really can taste the difference. It's a better quality meat. It's also expertly prepared. It's well-seasoned and cooked until it develops a nice char on the exterior. It was a bit more done on the inside than I require, but that may have been unavoidable. For a side, there was an option of tater tots cooked in an air fryer, like if your mom was feeling lazy. I didn't see any french fries, but maybe I'm going blind. I ordered a side salad, which is my thing these days. Sometimes they're surprisingly good, and a french fry is a french fry, unless you're at McDonald's. This one was pretty good, but it was definitely on the health-food side of things--very fresh and lightly but sufficiently dressed with something citrus-y and not too oily. Oh, and I was duped into purchasing a whiskey sour slushie. It just seemed like it would be so refreshing. It must have cost nearly as much as my meal, given what my bill came out to. They must think I'm a sucker. Did they receive advance notice of my visit? It did kinda hit the spot, and I probably got drunker than I would have otherwise, because I was suffering from a minor heatstroke, so there was that.

Honestly the best thing at our table were the rounds of appetizers, the brussels sprouts, spinach dip and "pretzels" (i swear pretzels were deep fried, they had a beignet like consistency) those seemed like sanely sized, well seasoned and prepared. The entree items on the other hand, they all seemed like somebody's idea of what they should be, and less like the actual thing, presentation was better than taste. Service was great though! Seemed like a good attentive staff. This place reminded me of Lamberts in several ways, in fact Joey Bs is like some St. Louis suburban living version of that. "throwed rolls" are way too gauche for West County though, so its generally a kind of sports bar atmosphere. So Lamberts in Sikeston is awful, except for the "pass arounds" which are pretty good. Lamberts main dishes had the same steroidal, huger than possible, unexceptional tasting quality as Joey Bs. And like Lamberts, holy crap was Joey Bs busy so what the fuck do I know?? Clearly nothing, I guess "we" sure do love our marginal and gigantic food, people tend to eat with their eyes!
