I recently ordered the Chipotle Chicken BBQ Folded Flat and was genuinely surprised by what arrived. The menu photo and description led me to expect a flatbread -- what I received was a single corn taco. As a pescatarian, I substituted shrimp for chicken and was charged an additional $6.89 for the swap, bringing the total to over $17 for a single taco. What arrived was cold pesto shrimp in a cold corn taco topped with a few black beans and pieces of corn. A combination that didn't work, and one I did not order. At that price point, I expected something much closer to what was advertised. I'd encourage the restaurant to update the menu photos and description to "taco" so future customers know what they're ordering. When I called, I was offered a refund only for the $6.89 shrimp upcharge, which didn't feel right given I couldn't eat the dish at all. If you are wanting something a little heartier you can get the Cowpoke with steak, or fresh tuna ahi with the Tunapalooza, or something Mediterranean with Cyprus. They also have a fine selection of quality ingredients should you wish to build your own. They offer other items other than salads like sandwiches, shareable plates and hearty soups. On my trip, I went for their seasonal spiced pear with spiced pears, cranberries, goat cheese and avocado with a drizzle of jalapeno honey dressing. What I appreciated the most is how they go about preparing the salad. It's just a handful of greens tossed into a bowl with all the other fixings -- they take the greens and they are chopped finely which I absolutely loved! The ambience within the restaurant was welcoming and the staff was courteous and informative on their concept. We had dinner here on a Sunday evening.. They seemed to be slightly short staffed, but everyone we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. I've never been there when they weren't friendly. We each went up to order, most of us chose the pick two specials. Unfortunately mine was the only one that was correct in the entire group. Most people either had the wrong soup or the wrong salad, one had both wrong. We are an amiable bunch so no one complained, in part because correcting it would mean another wait for those who requested it and besides that the line was quite long by then. Some of our party swapped their items among themselves to correct it where possible or to trade away something incorrect that they really did not want. But really, I was shocked. I've never been anywhere that 5 out of 6 had their order messed up. My salad was very good and I was pleased with it. It's a nice dining room, and the bathrooms were clean. Absolutely terrible experience. From the moment we walked in, the workers had obvious attitude, acting irritated and disrespectful toward every customer in the building. I really struggle when I have to leave a negative review but this one is a health hazard. I'm a huge fan of crushed red and have eaten at several locations. I always get the custom salads and love the variety of additions I can utilize in my dish. The ingredients at this location seemed fresh. I have struggled with slimy spinach at other locations but this one was crispy and delicious. The lost stars was 100% about cleanliness. When I stepped up to the ingredient bar it was literally swarming with fruit flies! The salad artist actually had to swat them away to build my salad. Two lazy over fed flies even joined me at my table. It was actually appalling. I looked up the cause and potential danger of fruit flies in a restaurant. This is an avoidable situation even with the food sitting out. (Which it should be covered until they get rid of the bugs) It is also dangerous because these flies go wherever there is moisture from the mops and floors to the open food bar. I can't believe they have let the infestation get so out of control! I kept looking at the team members waiting for someone to mention the obvious insect issue that surrounded us. Now that I've fully investigated the potential dangers of this situation I will definitely not be returning to this location and I would advise other crushed red lovers to steer clear. read more

After paying at another counter/drink station you are are provided with an order number placard and self service beverage glass. The flatbread was fresh as was the BBQ Chicken filling...very nice. Butternut squash soup....is absolutely amazing!! It's smooth and rich tasting....doesn't disappoint! I enjoyed both very much, not too filling, just right. The dining area and tables were clean and each stocked with silverware and cloth napkins. I gave it another chance this time around and tried their salad which was waayyy better than their salads had been. They use a lot of fresh ingredients (literally slicing up those avocados in front of you) and make sure to prechop it for you which was my favorite part! The employees are very welcoming, pleasant, patient (my ordering technique requires a bit of patience) and I appreciated it. Reuben prepared my salad with precision and lots of TLC. I went with the mini size Limited Edition LobStar Salad and created my own little Veggie Flatbread. The order was up in a few short minutes; delivered right to my table. I was checked on throughout my stay ensuring everything was enjoyable (I appreciated that as well). The restaurant is nicely decorated, TV's mounted for your entertainment purposes & all.
