It's a quiet location perfect for a tete a tete or a family gathering, where you feel wrapped in the experience. My husband will tell you, the only draw back is the price. I read other reviews and immediately that I wanted to try their lemonade with mint, which was heavenly. It was extremely refreshing, not too sweet, not too sour, tiny chopped leaves of mint floating around like confetti. I ordered the lamb shank, a plate of pickles, and also ordered falafel and avocado dip to go. The lamb was very well seasoned and fall of the bone tender. The accompanying cucumber bits in yogurt sauce was refreshing. The side of mushrooms with carrots and corn kernels that came with the dish was mediocre, particularly since the consistency and look of the mushrooms looked like they came from a can, but I may be wrong. The plate of pickles was delightful. I will admit that I was very disappointed because I had read that lentil soup would be complementary with main dishes when anyone dined in until 4 PM, but I'd never had any lentil soup at all, unless I am mistaken about the offer. Service was fast, even though there was only one server, who was, by the way, very polite and attentive. All in all, I will be back and I might actually end up being regular here.

But - when pulling up the menu, we couldn't decide on what we wanted to get and their roasted chicken takes an hour wait (which means we get freshly roasted chicken.) We ended up with a good lunch: beef/lamb gyro bowl, gyro sandwich, and hummus. Bro - the gyro bowl was BIG that I needed help from my husband to eat it. It was covered in white sauce, the meat slices were generous, and the rice was so nicely cooked and fluffy. My husband loved the gyro and was REALLY into the tzatziki. The hummus was so good, but it was much more than chickpeas. It was topped with an herb that I couldn't place, and I swear it had orange blossom in it. I absolutely look forward to their roasted chicken on our next visit!

But I was disappointed when I asked if i can taste the sauces of there wings to help me decide on which flavors to buy. The young man up front said no problem. But he went in back and they said no. I was close to leaving without purchasing anything. A customer said everything is good here. You cant go wrong. My concern was the spice levels. I didn't want it too spicy that everyone wouldn't enjoy it. I decided to try the sweet and spicy wings and the tangy and spicy wings. Note: I would've given this establishment a 5 star review if the would've made a small accommodation and allowed me to sample the the wings sauces. Therecwas 4 to choose between. As stated i was very close to not getting anything. Initially I wanted to come back and try other dishes other than the wings. Now I may not come back to try anything. If I do give them a 2nd review, you know why. I was going to try their pizza and butter chicken. I believe a few more items as well.

Hadn't been there before but had driven past and wondered, glad we went! When my friend saw they had hot mint tea she said this was definitely the right place for lunch. Since she has a seafood allergy we asked to be sure things would be cooked and served separately and I love that they put the shrimp on a small plate on it's on. The falafel was perfect, the sauces (a chili sauce and something tahini or yogurt based were good with it as was the pita bread. The mixed grill had three skewers - chicken, beef and shrimp. Each had uniquely yummy flavors. It came with rice, some grilled veggies and some pico like tomato salad. Confess the baklava looked great as we were leaving. Appreciated the hospitality of the person waiting on us. We talked a bit and discovered he was from a country my friend had been to previously. The food was very flavorful, but appetizer was served after the main meal meals were served. I appreciated the diced tomatoes dipping sauce vs ketchup... it upscaled the dish nicely. The fries were golden brown and tasty. The gyro was good. The black coffee was strong and hot. The place needs another server to increase the business during the lunch rush. The one waitress did a great job, but the place is large... for a couple of hours they could use another staff member. The kitchen staff needs more people. The falafel. And coffee should have been made first-then the sandwiches. I believe this was the because of skeleton crew idea of management. Even the entrance was not located under their sign, but located under a Hertz sign. Overall- the name sounds like a "fast-service casual" place, but owners never worked out the kinks yet. Much older crowd. We Had dinner with another couple. Wish I took pictures of our food but now I know why haven't returned here in over a decade. I had hummus appetizer. Hummus was small portion and pita bread cut into quarters had some carrots slivers too. Pita was not even warm. I had the Lamb Shank. The meat was tender but sadly covered with a brown pasty flavor less gravy that ruined it and couldnt tell if it was fresh or not. Our waitress heated my dish at table side on a burner but didn't do it very long and temperature of food was luke warm, at best. Had to flag other people down just to get. Ice tea refill. They delayed my wife's dinner. My mixed vegetables were soggy like it sat in water. My wife got a platter:"Hot Platter" 3 shrimp and spanakopita and like spinach cake and flaming cheese. Even after flaming presentation, She told me felt like just pulled out of refrigerator cheese wasn't warm. The flaming cheese while nice presentation was also mediocre at best. She only finished 1/3 of her meal. We are regular diners from fast food (have 2 teenagers) to nice sit down dinners. We both agreed this was inedible meal, poor food rating IMHO. As soon as we left, had to take 2 chewable Tums on way back; food did not sit well with me. I was ill rest of evening and still feel uneasy updating this 6 am Tuesday. Wonder how fresh food served on a Monday was. IMHO, NOT worth $100 or even less if it affected my Stomach. I wouldn't do it again even if free of charge; not willing to gamble. NOT on our return list ! BTW, the service was mediocre. My wife and I mentioned last month we took a cruise RC, what a wonderful top tier quality of food in main dining room and service on a cruise was just as good or better than any 5* Restaurants; puts Spiro to shame once you've had wonderful meals. I miss the "Greek Gourmet" on N. new Ballas. It was real Greek food from the 90s and Cafeteria style. Will not becoming back! Hope I recover soon as literally I was GI ill as soon as we arrived Home last evening.
