Just your average Jimmy Johns chain, nothing too special about it. Went here for a quick bite after…read morework and they didn't disappoint. Sandwich was just like it always is at their locations, and I do like their bread. I got a sandwich, chips, drink, and a pickle for my meal. Total was a bit high for the amount of food I got but not too bad. Order was made quickly and correctly so no complaints there. Only problem I have is their booths are not made for anyone but the skinniest of folks. I'm not big, but when I slid in the table caught a button on my shirt and it went flying. I notice this is true for many of the jimmy johns I have been to, and I do not understand the decision at all. One thing to note is that they bake the bread semi regularly, and store the old bread/freeze it. I usually get a few of the loaves when I stop in and take them home for meals. They freeze decently. Did I mention that I really like their bread?

I enjoy sandwiches from JJs, JMs, SFS and a few others, but had never tried Blimpies. I'm glad I did today. The store appeared clean although I wasn't really looking deep. This is the cheapest priced yummy sandwich I have found so far. The regular size sandwich was plenty for me.

I ordered the regular Philly online from blimpie's. I went in to pick it up I could see it on the counter. It's sat there. It sat there. I was invisible. I was invisible for at least 8 minutes. I could still see my sandwich it was so lonely it just wanted me to pick it up and take it home. So I got home. You know what the sandwich was actually satisfactory!. It was so simple and not exciting but at the same time not bad. I don't think it's a $7 sandwich to be honest however I am satisfied with the sandwich. I think the bread needs some lovin. It should be toasted. I'm normally a Jersey Mike's kind of guy but I didn't want to drive over there today. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'm going to give my experience at the restaurant about a four and the sandwich itself about a five. None of which was good none of which was bad. So my recommendation for blimpie on 5mile and Ustick - a strong Maybe.

I was smitten kitten after my first bite of the Santana; perfectly toasted marbled rye, creamy coleslaw that tasted freshly made (not too tangy, just a hint of pepper), slathered with thousand island dressing cradling a neat stack of perfectly trimmed hot pastrami. Every bite was downright perfection. Yes, I debated leaving half for later...but lost that internal debate. Fries were thick and battered, perfectly fried with a very nice fry sauce. Highly recommend getting the fries with any of the sandwiches. My friend's turkey sandwich looked crafted instead of made...with the shredded lettuce, crispy bacon, layers of turkey on the softest, hugest sandwich roll. She could stop at half but that sandwich was huge! Definitely worth every cent. After a couple hours of talking to tow trucks and mechanics to figure out our car troubles, we needed a refill of our toddler's water bottle. The people behind the counter were happy to help us. I even had a staff member in the drive through offer to jump our car. Unfortunately our car needed a lot more than a jump. This is my new favorite chick fil a location.
