I am so excited that this joint is opening up in my neck of the woods. I barely make it out to the Overland area and now they are right down the road from me! It's great! I stopped by today to see if they were open. They weren't which is a bummer but I look forward to trying out their goodies! From what is set up, it's looking pretty cute! I love the bright yellow tables outside. There is an olive tree out front as well, it's all very inviting. Looking inside, everything is shiny and pretty. The venue is small so the tables outside is nice. I'm cooking forward to coming here Thursday when they open. I have heard nothing but great things about this place. Excited for some foccacia, a cannoli and some coffee.

The desserts were delicious but the stand out to me was the focaccia sandwiches. They were delicious!! Everything we got was amazing. The Giovanni sandwich was soo good. Their Tiramisu was phenomenal. The store is on the small side, but go on a sunny day and sit on their patio, it's very cute. Because they are on the smaller side, the line can get long. They move fast and are polite to everyone they are serving. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This place is the real deal. If you're looking for an authentic Italian sandwich, look no further. Not only are these the best sandwiches I've had outside of Italy, they have the most delicious pastries. From tiramisu, to puff pastry's, affogato to cannoli's, everything is done to perfection. If you are wanting to try their pastries, get here early because they usually have a long line and sell out! This is the spot I find myself wanting to come back to again and again.

We came in for the first time. Tony and the staff are so nice and the food speaks to that. We got the serafino and a maritozzo. Truly a special place in Boise we will be returning often. Thank you! Highly recommend.

I like LISA!!!!!!!!! YUMMY!!!!!!!!! This was my first time trying an Italian sandwich. Tony and Emma asked if I liked it spicy. Oh my! I just found the best sandwich in the world!

This is one of those places where you understand the value of patience. Each time we have gone, there has been a line out the door because the space is only small enough for standing room for 8 people, all of whom are waiting for their order or their turn to order. The pastries are to die for. We came for the first time last week, paid our penance in a long line, and was greeted by the warmest family you can find on the edge of Boise and Meridian. They made a handful of recommendations and every single item was a hit. Today we're here for sandwiches, but in sure next week will bring in a new weekend treat

Good lord!!! This Italian bakery is devine! You know you've hit a gem when the place is packed on a Sunday morning. My kids and I absolutely loved their baked goods. The sandwiches were very fresh but I think the sweets are even better! Overall I loved this place but I will say it was extremely slow at making 2 sandwiches. We waited close to 30 minutes to get our to go order. Would I go back? YES!! I love supporting small places like this that treat food as a craft.

Yummy focaccia sandwiches! Interesting and delicious flavor combination. We got one with fig jam, prosciutto and pistachio. We also had a mini cannoli. Perfect!

Absolutely delicious! We got the Serafino: Mortadella imported from Italy, Stracciatella, Basil Pesto Spread, Crushed Pistachios and the Francesco: Genova Salami, Pecorino Garlic Spread, Sun-dried Tomato, Fennel, Arugula on herbed focaccia. The bread was pillowy with crunchy edges and glistened lightly with olive oil. BEST focaccia sandwiches outside of Italy...and right here in Boise. 100% worth the wait, and get there early...they will sell out!

Today, our friend brought us to Garden City to walk along the river, and then over to Uncle Guiseppe's for lunch. It is a small, seemingly authentic New York deli that serves a great number of different sandwiches, along with specialty drinks, like sodas, sparkling water, and lemonade. They also well things like pastries and, of interest to us, jarred roasted tomatoes. My wife had the #9 Monte Cristo, and I had the #3 Bonanza. Delicious. I also had a Manhattan Special Black Cherry soda, also super yummy. My mistake, not realizing what I was doing, was to order "whole" vs "half" sandwiches. The whole are footlong. I ate the entire sandwich, holy moly! My wife brought half home. Next time I would probably order a half. The owner, who I will call Guiseppe, had the heavy East Coast accent, and checked on all of his customers, making sure they were happy and satisfied. This place is a little gem. We're already talking about our next visit to Garden City to walk and have lunch at Uncle Guiseppe's!

After my in laws showed up, we got what we wanted all lined to and ordered. I got the cheeseburger tonight with no bun and extra onions. I also good a side of zucchini fries. It's been about a year since we have eaten here and I remember the zucchini fries being so good! My burger looked fabulous! The zucchini fries had a nice golden crust to them. I was ready to dig in. I would have liked to put ketchup and mustard on my burger but unfortunately there were no to go packets of either. I can't really use communal sauces so I had to pass on adding sauce to my burger or be able to dip my husband's fries in ketchup. My burger was tasty. I did order it with extra onions and didn't really get any extra. I also don't remember my zucchini fries being so minimal to an order. The side I got today had about 6 rounds in it. As an additional cost, I honestly thought it would be more than 6 small rounds. It's been a year since we have eaten here. The food was good as usual. I do enjoy all the pinball machines that you can play on. The staff is nice. I appreciate that everything we ate today was locally sourced. I am sure we will be back again soon. He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent.
