THE VIBE & SEATING: Bright inside seating for maybe 10 total at 4 small round tables. Lots of outdoor seating at tables and chairs on big deck. LOO: There is one uni-loo in the space. PARKING: In downtown Eagle is a bear but there is a lot sort of "downhill" from the shop and parking on downtown streets. ACCESSIBILITY: If you need to avoid stairs at entry, you'll need to find street parking on Aiken and enter from the sidewalk. (See photo) The path of travel inside at the counter is ample for wheelchair users. I couldn't tell if the bases of the round tables would allow wheelchair users to pull up to the table. The uni-loo was not marked with access symbol and I didn't check it but given the space is new it should be ADA compliant if you're planning ahead. OTHERS: If you're looking for more sweet and savory baked options in Eagle, you might also consider Bella Biscotteria on State Street. Professional baker, broad offerings including Euro style pastries. But it lacks the locaton-location-location benefit of this shop and has no seating or table service.

PLAN TO BUY AND GO: Too small a space inside for seating and only enough outside for maybe a couple of seats, so this is a buy and take away format. ACCESSIBILITY: That I have posted 22 photos of this bakery since it opened in 2021 to now, it is evident that I am a fan of the offerings and also an avid supporter of mom-n-pop local businesses. But I am also a customer with disabilities and given the ADA will turn 36 years old this month, it is also an appropriate time to say why they seldom get my business anymore. It is all about the location's small parking lot with angled spaces and only one ADA compliant spot at the far end, near a hair salon, with often someone parking (illegally) in the striped access aisle. The only way for a wheelchair user to get up on to the walkway to get into the doors of the shops is through that access aisle and when it is blocked, so am I. For that reason, this good business has largely lost my business. Alas. Recently we ordered an almond croissant and a lemon blueberry scone to-go, along with the chocolate chip large cannoli (excellent, cut in half to share after a dinner meal.) The croissant is extra-large, loaded with sliced almonds, flaky and a little sweet. My wife declared it the best she'd ever had. I warmed up the scone just enough to make it a perfect match to a robust coffee. Chef VV has increased the selections of flavored biscotti, has added a small round carrot cake and seasonal pie selections, and even brought back the delicious Italian donuts (Bombolone) so I look forward to going back again soon. To date, my absolute favorite sweet treats are the Chocolate Walnut cookies ($4.95 for a 6 pack) and, even better, the Blueberry Sour Cream Loaf ($7.95). The latter is sooooooo good! It tastes delicious with a strong cup'o'jo in the A.M. It's very moist, and the sour cream adds a unique, sweet flavor to the blueberries. It's almost like eating a super smooth cake. I'm always impressed by how fresh it is despite being made a day or so prior (date is printed in packaging). This bread is best when the blueberries are in season. Yes, it's worth the price! His hashbrowns were also very under cooked and the oil tasted old. Despite those issues, we'd still go back and talked about what we'd try next. It's crispy on the outside topped with butter and cinnamon sugar dust. The inside is soft and warm. Killer good! I did take a bite of my husband's cinnamon roll. It was mehhh. But I think if it was served warm, it would have been that much better. It was cold, dry and stiff. The bacon and sausage on my plate were cooked perfectly! My eggs were great and the potatoes were tasty! I do wish that the country gravy was not lumpy. I couldn't get over the lumps in the gravy from it sitting. I had about a couple spoons of it and couldn't eat it. It looked esthetically displeasing. Breakfast was good. Aspen did a decent job taking care of us. The venue is super charming. But the cinnamon roll was cold and honestly tasted like it wasn't freshly baked. The country gravy was lumpy and not very hot. It sucked to pay for a side of it and not enjoy it. Overall our visit was great. I don't know when we will be back but the cinnamon roll French toast will be a must have the next time we come in.
