His hashbrowns were also very under cooked and the oil tasted old. Despite those issues, we'd still go back and talked about what we'd try next. It's a cold sandwich and comes on ciabatta bread. One thing to note, and I probably should've known this, but the Italian mixed veggies come with a bunch of green and black olives. I hate olives and the taste of them ruins anything they're on for me. If I had known that olives were on this sandwich from the description when I ordered it, I would've substituted them with something else. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy.
