Dry rotisserie chicken
Angel L.

What an unpleasant experience. Service was cold and unfriendly. Like, dang. I'm sorry for coming into your place of business. And y'all couldn't bother cutting this long thing in half? I knew as soon as I unwrapped it, it was going to be awful. Look at how dry this chicken is! Not only that, they don't butter or put mayonnaise on the baguette. The chicken was flavorless on top of being crispy dry. I ate as much as I could stand because I hate being wasteful, but I did consider throwing the whole thing in the trash, where it belongs.

Stopped in for pho today. This place is known for their sandwiches but I wanted something hot. Placed my order with the lady at the register and sat myself. The venue is very small. If you're eating alone, you'll be comfortable. You can work with 2 people at a small table. If you have 3 or more people than you might as well take it to go. The tables are crammed together. It's not the best area to eat in. Subway has bigger tables than they do. I ordered a bowl of pho today and some bbq qio coun. My pho came out hot! It smelled delicious. They were nice and gave me a side of hoisin and Sriracha together. I don't like hoisin in my broth and kindly asked the lady for a side of just Sriracha. She got annoyed and tried to take the cup of sauces back. I actually wanted both. So, she went and got me all side of hot sauce after that drama. The broth was savory. It had the right amount is saltiness to it. It had plenty of steak, meatballs and brisket. But it failed for me since there was hardly any noodles in it. After a couple bites I was basically done. I did order an extra site of noodles. They have me such a huge side. The portion that they gave me a side would have been perfect in my bowl. By the time I got my side of noodles, my broth had already started to cool. It didn't taste the same. The noodles didn't get a chance to absorb the soup since the soup was cooler. I had such high hopes just to be disappointed. Kinda crappy since that bowl was 20 bucks. The gio coun was ok. The bbq meat was bland. The dipping sauce was a different consistency. Overall, it was an ok experience. If I do come back I'll probably just get a sandwich. There are so many pho spots that I can hit up to get pho and not leave hungry or disappointed.

Pho is 16.99 not 20 like some mentioned as if this week. The broth was good but not the best in this area. Good amounts of meat and noodles. Did not try the sandwiches today but will do next time. They do not serve water with their meals here was the main downfall for me. You had to buy a bottle water. 3.5 stars is pretty accurate.

My favorite Vietnamese sandwich shop. Usually get the No.9 on the menu if you like scramble eggs in your sandwich, makes a perfect brunch meal. Oh don't forget to order the Vietnamese coffee to go with the sandwich. Perfect weekend brunch

This is a completely respectable bahn mi in an unsaturated market of bahn mis in Boise. I unfortunately showed up with an American Express card which was not accepted by the store but they were willing to give me a small discount since I didn't have another card. I got an egg bahn mi and a grilled beef bahn mi. I will agree with other reviewers which state they skimp on beef. You will not get full on beef alone and will likely be a little bit annoyed. The egg bahn mi was respectfully filled and delicious. They are kind and make good food.

Located next to Great Clips and also in same plaza as Fred Meyers
Vic C.

Baguette Deli is located in the same plaza as Fred Meyer, specifically next door to Great Clips, with plenty of parking. My husband found this place on Yelp and so we came here on a Sunday around 6:30 pm. After looking over the menu board, we ended up getting: Vermicelli, $7.95 prior to tax- This noodle entrée is good for two and was tasty. The meat was also good and tender. #1 House Special, $4.95 prior to tax- My husband opted for this sandwich. The lunch meat is good but on the skimpy side. The baguette bread used was good and had a nice chew. ----------------- (Total= $13.14 after tax) When we came in, I wanted to order spring rolls but they were already sold out. Same with a milk tea that I had asked to purchase. I was surprised that a handful of items I had asked for were already sold out ~ 90 minutes before closing time. But I guess at least they still had the ingredients to make banh mi sandwiches. Well I've had better, but maybe that's because I'm from Los Angeles where there are a lot of places that make really good Vietnamese food. Overall, this place is okay, thus my 3 star rating.

Pho and Vietnamese iced coffee (take-out @ home)

Baguette Deli is my go-to hangover meal and a top lunch spot that I frequent! I usually order takeout at the counter and bring it home or take it to eat at the park! You can tell that the bread is baked fresh daily. It has a really nice crunch but is still very soft inside. My favorite combination is dipping the House bahn mi into the hot pho broth. The House Bahn Mi has the classic meat, cilantro, jalapeños and pickled radish and carrots. It's a really big sandwich- about a foot long for only $4.95! It's a great deal for a great sandwich! Upfront on the counter they have already-made egg rolls, shrimp spring rolls and beef spring rolls. The shrimp spring rolls are fresh and pair perfectly with their peanut dipping sauce. I usually order a few egg rolls and add the fish sauce for 50cents. The Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk is actually one of my favorite coffees to get in all of boise. I have also tried the avocado shake and it's made with real avocados and condensed milk again for sweetness and creaminess. Absolutely delicious! This is a great local business with amazing food for a very reasonable price!

It's a small place in the same building as Fred Meyers. First time in. My husband likes there Pho I didn't order that. I had a sandwich and I like the bread it was good but the sandwich wasn't my favorite. It needed more meat more of something. The smoothies where good. My kids liked the smoothies.

Ask the Community - Baguette Deli

Do they offer indoor dining/seating again yet or is it take out only?

Last time I went it was still takeout

Can somebody upload an updated menu for this please with the right prices? Unfortunately the Uber app prices for this location is different from the store itself?

A person came from another part of the building after about 5 mins... I assume that is where the sandwhiches are made. Orders were placed. I had the Brisket special sandwhich and asked for it plain... ie, brisket and bun. I was second in line and there was another person behind me and then another came in. I waited for about 15 mins. I noticed the cashier disappeared again to get someones food. Then he was chatting with some guests for a bit. Finally, he disappeared again and arrived with two orders, but it was the two people AFTER me. Another 5 minutes later I got my brisket sandwhich. Also a few other people came in after me and the same process seemed to repeat over and over... ie come in to an empty cashier, wait around in confusion. Several people mentioned it was their first time that day so maybe having a sign or having some sort of system to notify when an order is ready. It looks like the slice of brisket I got was the outside and about 6-7"s long and it was really hard, stringy and tough to chew. It would have been nice if it was chopped finely and if I could have gotten something a bit more tender. It was warmed up though. You would think this would take 30 seconds to make this sandwhich, I should have to wait 15-20 mins. The flavor was ok, but I only ate about half and ended up having to get rid of the other half due to it just being too chewy and one long piece. Parking lot was fairly full, but nice that there was parking there. The vibe was a bit weird overall as well. I don't think I will be back. I am sure they have better sandwhiches, but I just didn't really enjoy the experience and the price was above $15.

There wasn't much in the lettuce department. For 14 bucks, there wasn't a lot of salad to it. My husband always gets the Boise Philly and they always do a good job. So, it's hard for me to say no when my husband wants to come here. We stopped in today for a late lunch. My husband ordered his normal. I decided to be different and ordered the black and blue brat. The picture they have on the brat in their menu looked so good so I had to get it. We grabbed a table and hung out till our food was ready. The food came out nice and hot. My husband's sandwich looked killer like always. Mine...... I wish I could have said the same. My brat came on a sandwich bun. It still looked good but I knew it was going to be a lot of breading to my brat. The brat as savory and peppery. It was good and had a good snap to it. It was a little hard to enjoy the brat since they drowned my bun with the ground mustard. It was really overwhelming. And for 2 bucks you can add sauerkraut. Don't bother adding it cause you barely get any. My husband's sandwich was good. The filet was tender and the cheese was nice and melty. Overall, it was an ok meal. I wish they would have told me about the bun being different. I would have ordered something else. I really want to like this place. They are local and I know the serve great did but I just haven't had that experience yet.

If your coming here for the first time do not miss the schnitzel meals! It's a good hearty meal to fill a hungry belly! I had the Donor Kebab this time because I hadn't tried it yet and I have been missing out. It was really good! The mixed meat was on point and cooked just right. The veggie combinations were different then what I'm used to with kebabs but it worked really well. They had red cabbage, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, and pepperoncinis. The pita was wrapped in a thin, yet thick enough wrap to hold it all together and it was a perfect compliment to this Kebab! You can also never go wrong with any sausages, bratwurst or bologna. I like that they don't have a huge menu because everything you get is quality ingredients made with care. Did I mention beer? They have a multitude of glasses and form factors to pour into. The owners and employees have been consistently very kind and helpful with any questions I have about the market or restaurant since the beginning. Speaking of the market, they have always had great and fair prices with their imported items and its one of the only places in town that has quality European dark chocolates.
