Sandwich was just like it always is at their locations, and I do like their bread. I got a sandwich, chips, drink, and a pickle for my meal. Total was a bit high for the amount of food I got but not too bad. Order was made quickly and correctly so no complaints there. Only problem I have is their booths are not made for anyone but the skinniest of folks. I'm not big, but when I slid in the table caught a button on my shirt and it went flying. I notice this is true for many of the jimmy johns I have been to, and I do not understand the decision at all. One thing to note is that they bake the bread semi regularly, and store the old bread/freeze it. I usually get a few of the loaves when I stop in and take them home for meals. They freeze decently. Did I mention that I really like their bread?

Since we were eager to try it out again and didn't see a line, we yanked our car into a parking spot and ran in for lunch. Ordering went quickly but we had a little sticker shock when it was $34 for two small sandwiches with chip/drink combos. Add in tip and it was almost $38. That's more than we expected to spend. I was also quite disappointed to see that they took away my beloved Diet Pepsi and replaced with Pepsi Zero (this is not the same!!!!). Double whammy with high prices and I didn't get my only choice for a drink. It wasn't just me, two people who walked past me said "no Diet Pepsi?". At least I wasn't alone. Food still took much longer than we thought to get out, with no lines and only a few people at tables and an occasional door dash driver showing up. After about 20 minutes our sandwiches arrived and we were famished. My chicken bacon ranch sandwich was oozing with ranch, chicken and bacon were hot and the overall flavor was exceptional. However, the chicken was in thin, craggy pieces that were texturally unappealing. I would have appreciated juicy chunks or even strips. My husband truly suffered with his standard turkey sandwich. He kept telling me how dry it was, so I tried some to see if he was being a drama llama. The turkey was so dry that I had to fill my mouth with lemonade to swallow it down. If everything was perfect, I wouldn't mind paying that price for two sandwich combos, but this wasn't the case. Probably won't be going back.

I asked to hold the oil and vinegar as I wasn't going to eat it until a little later, but was pleasantly surprised when she offered to give me packets! I added pickles to my sandwich. I enjoy sandwiches from JJs, JMs, SFS and a few others, but had never tried Blimpies. I'm glad I did today. The store appeared clean although I wasn't really looking deep. I ordered the regular Philly online from blimpie's. I went in to pick it up I could see it on the counter. It's sat there. It sat there. I was invisible. I was invisible for at least 8 minutes. I could still see my sandwich it was so lonely it just wanted me to pick it up and take it home. So I got home. You know what the sandwich was actually satisfactory!. It was so simple and not exciting but at the same time not bad. I don't think it's a $7 sandwich to be honest however I am satisfied with the sandwich. I think the bread needs some lovin. It should be toasted. I'm normally a Jersey Mike's kind of guy but I didn't want to drive over there today. I just really want to say thank you to the staff today! From start to finish, everyone was friendly and fantastic! I appreciate how kind everyone was today. The gentlemen that took our orders on our 3 (yes, three) visits were both nice. The first time we approached the counter, we asked if their buns had eggs (allergy). The guy was nice enough to go read the label on the buns to confirm for me. (yes, I know I can get a burger without a bun, but a *BIG* part of eating a good burger includes the flavors in the bun and that the bun picks up) Anywho, but without egg - count me in! The burger was sooooo good. I rarely find a place where I'm happy with both the burger AND the fries, but darn it if this place didn't make me happy with both items!!! Which is why we gave them repeat visits, conferences can be long and tiring so having a familiar place to just go and eat the same thing sure made it easy on us. The Warehouse is right across from the Boise Center and also right beside their little theater. It was always busy every time I stopped in. With my new kidney, I wanted to be cautious with the amount of people I'm around. Now that Raising Canes has been open for a hot minute, I felt like the crowd to be a lot smaller and safer for me to be inside the dining area. Greg helped us today at the register. He was really patient with us since it was my husband's first time eating there. I snagged the 3 piece naked combo and my husband got the chicken sandwich. He is a cheese lover so he was bummed that he couldn't add cheese to his sandwich but he still had high hopes that it will be good. My husband's meal did come out first. For some reason they dropped the ball on my meal. There were quite a few people that got their meals ahead of me that ordered after us. I wasn't sweating it but I knew Greg was on top of it.
