Stopped in today to grab a grilled cheese and some fries to share with my husband. As always our fries were good and my husband enjoyed his grilled cheese. Accuracy with an order is important to me. But the restaurant wasn't even busy. First they gave me a double burger when ordered a blt with a patty and then they gave me a blt sandwich with no patty/ burger with no cheese. We walked in and the woman in front of us had a dog with her. This was not a service dog. It was gross. Pets do not belong in a restaurant. I asked the worker if he always allowed dogs and he said it wasn't his problem. Wow! It will be your problem when a dog bites someone, or pees on the floor. I have been here now 3x since moving to the area and besides the one time the drier was broken I have always had a good experience here. This place seems to get pretty busy at lunch and dinner time so be a little patient as the guys and gals that work here are working their butts off. Holy crap! I don't know what they did at this location but about 2 years ago they were the worst... bad food terrible service and dirty all the time. They had shut down for renovations about 18 months ago and now! It is fantastic. They must have cleaned house and got new management and employees or something because it's been wonderful every time I have gone since they reopened. read more

They messed up our entire order and lied and said they "just forgot to drop the fries", while I watched 4 other orders go past as they struggled to even find my ticket, then make the order. Love Five Guys but other then the fantastic young man working who was extremely customer friendly and made sure we had everything on our order this was the absolute worst burger I have had. I was pretty disappointed with my experience here. I paid $20 for a double bacon cheeseburger combo, waited 20 minutes for it, and they forgot one of the only ingredients I asked for, the bacon. I haven't been to this location in awhile since I was underwhelmed on previous visits. Don't get me wrong. Their burgers have good flavor and you get a lot of bang for your buck. As others have said, they are very generous with the fries. A large can easily satisfy a family of four (if two of the four are small children.) However, there's nothing that sets them apart from our own home cooking or other burger places. The only reason I thought of them tonight is because they have a downtown location I wanted to try since we enjoy walking downtown with our kids. This location is closer, but so are a lot of other good burger places. That said, Five Guys is a lot better than In 'N Out. Never understood the hype about that chain. read more

Only one employee is actually working and she deserves a huge raise. Rest of the staff is standing around talking while there are 4 of us waiting for our orders. There is a staff of 7 with a mostly empty restaurant so this isn't about being short staffed. read more

This place reminds me, décor-wise, a lot of the one at Fort Union in Salt Lake and I'm guessing those may be both older locations. More or less plain white and red, but pretty clean and, of course, good amounts of peanuts. There are also a couple Coke Freestyle machines, but this place does not offer shakes. Burger was done basically as I generally expect it to be, which was cooked well, usual excellent flavor and nicely juicy. If you want it my way, choose either single or double patty, add cheese if you want it, bacon, mushrooms, jalapenos, A-1 sauce and get thee face full. Sometimes I will also add green peppers and less frequently a little splash of lettuce, but that's more of an option; the other toppings are standard. read more

I popped in here for a couple of burgers and fries and no it wasn't good. Both burgers were wrong. I don't know how you can mess up a regular burger and a bacon burger and put mushrooms on both. I'm giving Five Guys three stars for various reasons. I'm writing off of a couple visits. Both these visits the food has been good which I'll get into in a second. But the reason I give the business three stars is as a whole, the customer service is horrendous. I've given them a second chance as redemption and it was the same experience. First off the burgers are yummy, quite delicious. Overpriced? Totally and that seems to be a universal complaint. The buns could be better quality due to how juicy these burgers are. You feel like you have to eat it really fast or the bun will get all soggy. Everything tastes fresh and well seasoned. You can customize the seasoning on the fries as well. One annoying thing is they don't have ranch... ranch is a staple for burger places. They also don't have a secret sauce or thousand island for the burgers. Such a let down for those of us craving more than mustard or ketchup. The service is dreadful. Both times I have been in here the staff talks down to me, they give me attitude and when I ask for a simple explanation about the menu or if I can have something there's an excuse and a nastiness towards the customer. We eat out often and I rarely have this type of treatment by an employee. Your job is customer service, you could at least be nice. When I was there and they were empty I asked for fry sauce they told me to get it myself that's why they have it out. This I knew and I explained "there's nothing left in them, can I have some mayo and ketchup I'll mix it myself to help" they acted as if I was asking for something unheard of and made me feel as if I was an inconvenience when I wasn't the only person wanting some fry sauce IN A BURGER JOINT. I could go on and on about how they act but button line is the service sucks, they're condescending and don't care if the customer is happy or has a good experience and that's just sad. I don't review often but something needs to be addressed, you don't treat people this way, especially when you want their business. It's been awhile since I've been to fives guys for a burger. So today craving a burger for a late lunch I was driving by and decided to stop in. Ordered my burger, frys, and a small drink. Filled up my drink from the new cool beverage machine with multiple options! Super cool! Sat down with my incredibly delicious burger and my spicy cajun fries and thought to myself.... Why have I not come here for such a long time I thought to myself? Then I looked down at my receipt and realized I just paid $13.33 for a burger, frys, and a drink. Is that experience? Or am I cheap? Not that impressed actually. The fresh cut fries were good for what they are and the service was awesome. But hey, a burger that falls apart every time.... no thanks. Not for the price. (Regular burger, large fry and a soda - $10). The casual theme and peanuts are cute but I only go when the guys at work are paying, and even then, I try to stick to a soda. I had a craving for Wendy's. Drove by Five Guys and subconsciously turned in there instead. I should trust my subconscious more often because it was a great decision. Though, it did put me out for the rest of the day. SO much food. I ordered the cheeseburger with all my favsie toppings. The husband went "all the way" and ordered everything. We went to supper at this location with my mom who has a wheat allergy. When she ordered her burger without the bun the order taker asked if it was a allergy. .. upon finding out it was made sure to prevent cross contamination. Wish i could give extra stars for that. This place makes a great burger and the staff is friendly. The portions are gigantic-their regular burgers have two patties and the fries come in large cups. They have the best choices of free toppings in town! I've gotten my order quickly and exactly right every time I've been here. Plus, you can get bottomless free peanuts while you wait. The only drawback to this place is the (lack of) atmosphere. I can't stand the bright walls and the loudness of the place, I always feel like I'm eating in a crowded bus station whenever I'm there. If you haven't tried 5 Guys- Go! They have the best Hamburgers in town, hands down. Also order the SMALL fry, they give you plenty-enough for 2 people, especially with there large burger. So it is a little confusing if you have never been there before so ill explain to make you day experience easier. When you get to the cashier you just tell her what size hamburger you want ( small or big) (the big has 2 patties on it )and tell them what toppings you want on it- all the toppings are listed on the sign above- then sit back and wait for them to call your number and eat as many peanuts as you want also get the fry sauce its next to the coke machine, its Delicious with the fries....
