I cannot say enough positive things about Ramirez Towing! They went out of their way to help me and get my vehicle towed from Suisun City all the way to Carmichael under less than ideal conditions. Their dispatch staff was kind, patient, and extremely courteous! They called me to provide updates and let me know I was being taken care of. The driver, Nigel was professional, positive, and did everything he could do to ensure the vehicle was delivered safely and securely. Absolutely 5 star customer service! My sincerest thanks for all you did! read more

Jeff Ramirez Towing saved the day!! After being screwed with AAA towing waiting for someone for 4 hours I cancelled my request with them and called Jeff Ramirez towing directly and he had a driver in 25 minutes to grab my poor husband off the side of the freeway ! Great fast efficient service and great price! Would highly recommend!! read more

Prompt, affordable and skilled service. Aaron was my driver. He arrived in 15-20min even though I gave him the wrong address (2 buildings over), but he didn't complain. He simply turned around hooked my car up and we were on the freeway in minutes. He took it out to Davis from Fairfield for a great price. He even gave me some advice on how to fix my car on my own without paying thousands of dollars to a body shop. After parking my car he asked if I was good with it's position saying, "I want you to be happy.".....I can't possibly ask for more from this guy. Thanks Aaron and Jeff Ramirez towing. I'll definitely be contacting you in the future! read more

Jeff has retired and isn't the owner anymore looks like they are under new ownership and management.

I live about 3hours north of Fairfield and was traveling with my family when my tire blew on the 80w. After calling several different tow companies (a lot didn't answer or couldn't be bothered to come help change a tire) I got through to J. Ramirez towing they arrived less than ten minutes after I called and Daniel was amazing! He was very kind and made a stressful situation bearable! Thank you very much Daniel and J. Gave my car to the wrong owner and stole $9000 with the tools out of my car from the Vacaville location and the guy down. There was a complete asshole I recommend if you're gonna use a towing company use NorthBay Tow these people here don't care about your vehicle they don't care about you they just want money you're selfish inconsiderate assholes and there's the thieves. read more

Called in on Black Friday, was afraid they'd be closed due to the holidays but got an amazing service from Bruce. Called them and they sent a truck out my way, no questions asked. Bruce was exceptionally friendly and overall great genuine guy/employee. He took great care of us and our car, will be calling this company first the next time I need a tow! read more

We had a very urgent need when our pickup broke down on 80W in Fairfield on a busy Friday afternoon with our son behind the wheel. I was at work in Contra Costa County. The first place I called for a tow was backlogged for hours but kindly recommended Jeff Ramirez Towing as a backup and gave me their number. I called them and Robin answered. Robin immediately dispatched a tow truck to the scene, and, sparing me the need to drive nearly an hour to meet them there, had my truck picked up on the side of the highway and delivered it to where I needed it. And then the cherry on top was when I received the bill to find I was charged $25 less than I was quoted. From beginning to end, this took less than 1 hour. I've never worked with a tow company from whom I've gotten more prompt, courteous, and fair service. Thanks again!! read more

After waiting for AAA for over 2 hours I called Jeff and he had someone to tow my truck home within 20 minutes! Service was superb, clean truck and enjoyed a pleasant conversation with the driver on the way home. read more

The car was located within a hour after it was stolen, and also driven to a whole other city(Fairfield) which was most likely the drive time. How would the person who stole the car have time to sort through things in the backseat and also the trunk, all while crashing the car? Also on the police report of the car, the write down a inventory of valuable items in the car, one of the things being the tools/toolbox in the trunk. Which was also not in the car when I went to retrieve my items! That's the main part, things that the police report says was supposed to be in the car, wasn't in the car when I got there. And that's how I know for a fact it had to be the tow company. The only things that were missing is valuable items that could be resold for cash..... come on now. read more

We had the pleasure of working with Jeff and his team a few times during the past couple of months. On each occasion they were professional courteous and fair. I really appreciate local companies that show up when they say they are going to show up and do what they say they are going to do. Jeff and his team are top notch. read more

After a hefty fee paid for the vehicle release of our PNO Honda compliments of Fairfield PD, I yet burned another hole in my wallet for the towing and storage charges at this place. Situated in the back roads getting here was tricky. You can easily miss the turn off to their yard but I managed. When we pulled up there was one guy ahead of us but it didn't take long at all to get our car bailed. Towed out of the yard and into a parking space she went. As it was pouring rain, I had to replace the car battery since it's a total goner. Oh how fun it was! Lesson learned! Today has to be on my top ten of crappiest days ever... read more

This tow truck company is a joke. A true joke. The driver came out to tow a AAA arranged tow. He reported to AAA that it was off the road in a field, which was in true. He reported it want registered, again, untrue, the tags weren't on however when that was brought to my attention I placed the tags on the vehicle. He then stated the back tires were flat, which again was untrue. The driver got back in the truck and drove off without saying anything or attempting to come up with a viable alternative. When I called the company to make a complaint Kat the manager was rude. Not helpful in remedying the situation or offering any other viable options, being that this is her field of expertise I expected to receive at least a point in the right direction. But nothing. I'm surprised AAA even contracts them. I'm glad some other people had good experiences, makes it a little easier to chalk it up to "they were just having a bad day." read more

Jeff Ramirez is a fantastic caring person. I was standing outside in the heat for two hours waiting for AAA to respond, having waited twice as long as they said it should be. Jeff had stopped for something else and having seen me standing there when he went inside and then came back out he asked if he could help. I accepted his offer since AAA wasn't even on their way yet. In just a couple minutes he had me on the road again. I can't say enough good things about this man and his company. I would not hesitate in calling Jeff Ramirez Towing. read more

So I saw previous reviews and I was very nervous about trying these guys. However, I couldn't have been more wrong. My daughters car conked out after buying it on Craigslist less than a week ago (karma will prevail). The driver met me at the Chevron in Fairfield and was very pleasant. I followed him to my mechanic and he even joked about the true meaning of FORD. I know some people mix these guys up with their aggressive older sister Midnight Towing, but if you need an affordable quick profession job I recommend you call Jeff Ramirez Towing. read more

Yesterday my car battery went dead at the worst time. I was without a cell phone and thankfully one of the store employees gave me pride home so that I could call a tow company. The first place I called was too busy and recommended Jeff. I gave them a call and they were on their way. Daniel was the driver and was simply outstanding. He was very warm and helpful - great ambassador for this company. I thought the tow cost was reasonable all things considered. This is the second time I have used Ramirez towing. They will continue to get my business. read more

My daughter gave specific info on her car (97 mustang) that needed to be towed from the side yard (not in street & not drivable) over the phone and he showed up with a tow truck with the forks instead of a flat bed which is what should have been used!!!! He seen the car and told her "nope can't tow it she needs to push it on the street then call us back" and he left! Flatbed could have got the car from where it's at and towed to it's location!! read more

My car wouldn't start. I called and got excellent phone service, a reasonable quote, and the truck showed up quickly. The driver recommended I try a few things to start my car. Luckily, it started! I offered to pay for the tow even though I didn't need it anymore, but they wouldn't accept. Clearly this business is interested in doing the right thing, and it shows. They've earned my business. These guys rock! Nobody ever wants to be in a situation where a tow is necessary, but if you find yourself there... this company makes the experience as painless as possible. read more

Today I had a mishap and attempted to drive my car over a spot where the asphalt dropped off into dirt-- It got stuck. Jeff Ramirez towing was the 3rd place I called and the third time was definitely the charm! They were very kind over the phone. The driver, Bruce, arrived shortly after and got to work, figuring out the best way to get my car up. I was amazed. He was very patient and kind and I truly appreciate this-- it's bad enough I made a poor decision, but even worse when I had to call a stranger to fix my problem! He was great. I would absolutely use this company again! read more

The Best towing experience I every had. A wait time less than 5min- Bruce provided exceptional customer service & was very polite.

Was behind this row truck on air base and parker and they decided to run the red light and turn onto parker on oncoming traffic. I honked my horn and pulled down my window and he just continued to drive off and turn to look at me. Shame on him. Not okay in my community. If he were to hit someone that would have been traumatic. Shame on them. read more

My wife broken down in Fairfield this week (Saturday Night). It was raining and it was dark. I called and requested my car be towed to my house and the VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KIND gentlemen that answered told me he could have a tow truck there in 20 minutes. I was shocked when my wife called and told me the tow person was there and it had been 9 mins. The tow man was kind and considerate of my wife and returned the car and my wife to my house within 30 minutes. The cost was fair and reasonable. Unfortunately, the car can not be repaired but at least I found my forever tow peeps. Thank You!! read more

I was driving on a gravel road at the end of Grizzly Island and before I knew it, my car lost traction. I freaked out and luckily crashed into the bushes rather than the little creek that runs along side the road! I was in distraught so my friend called this towing company and they got there in about 25 minutes, got me out and I was able to drive it home. The guy, Tim, was really nice and made me feel better when he told me about the similar accidents in that area. lol I didn't have my car impounded so I can't really relate to the guy who commented below me but I can say the price wasn't bad. Definitely recommend them. read more

Daniel was my tow driver last night- my tire blew going east bound and Vacaville tow only took me off the freeway telling me it would be another 2 hours to take me home. Daniel responded to Aaa reroute quickly and was very welcoming. He asked my preference in car music and filled uncomfortable silence with conversation. He was friendly and took care with my car and was very understanding to my urgent desire to get home at a decent time! read more

I recently needed to move several vehicles from my house to a storage facility and I was referred to Jeff Ramirez Towing. I ended up utilizing their service on several different occasions. Basically, if you need a towing service, I give Jeff Ramirez Towing my highest recommendation. read more

Since the review I left below, I have been able to talk with Jeff Ramirez regarding the incident and he was very pleasant to work with. We discussed the situation and their position with regards to towing jobs they get from law enforcement agencies. We came to an agreement that he would refund half of my fees (more than I would have asked for) because of the confusion and nature of the incident. He is also one of few business owners who actually pay attention to their Yelp and social media posts, one who cares about his business and the reputation it has in the community. In this day and age of social media and online information access, these posts can be powerful. I was pleased to see that after he responded to a prior post, he responded to mine as well. Thank you Jeff and to Robin as well for the help and understanding that you have given. read more
