I would never use this business by choice. They are contracted with the Highway Patrol and take advantage of people at their worst times. My son crashed his motorcycle and is in the hospital. Meanwhile, this company charged me over $600 to tow, over $200 for overnight storage. I was told that this is the prices that the HP said they could charge. California towing laws need to be changed. I was involved in an accident and Jeff Ramirez towing was called by the Suisun City Police Department. These are the key things that took place. 1) The road was closed because of the accident and I could have driven my car off the road so AAA could have picked it up. 2) There was still another car involved in the accident, that was totally disabled, and no tow truck had shown up. Jeff Ramirez Towing hooks up to my truck and then refuses to drop my vehicle so I could get it off of the road. 3) The driver refuses to drop my vehicle off to the side unless I paid on the spot. 4) Driver refused to drop my vehicle at my house, which I could have paid for. He drove by my house on his way to the tow yard. 5) Driver tried to tell me I couldn't get any of my property out of the truck because it was being impounded. 6) I talked to Suisun City Police Department asked why is my truck being impounded and was informed they were not impounding but I would need to get a release for my vehicle to retrieve it but would be able to get that the next day. The summary is this. I was in talks with the Suisun City Police Department regarding using AAA to pick up my vehicle. They said they needed to get the road open and that AAA can "sometimes" take a while to show up. At that time I could have moved my vehicle out of the road to wait for AAA but Jeff Ramirez Towing had hooked up to my vehicle and wouldn't release it. Remember there is still the other vehicle that was totally disabled with no chance of moving out of the road under its own power. The next day I was allowed to retrieve my property out of my vehicle but the cost to get my vehicle out of the tow yard was over $500 and I could not afford that and daily the cost went up and now it going to be sold as a lien sale. This is absolutely the definition of a Predatory Tow. read more

My NON OP car was parked at my in laws and unfortunately a police officer had my car towed (not getting into that nonsense). This was the towing company they used. I called and spoke with Jeff who was extremely helpful and presented me with my options. Pay a ton of fees to get my car back or release my car to them. I weighed my options and decided that the fees to get it back was not worth it. My car held sentimental value, which is why I kept it. My brother who is no longer earth side would ride in this car with me, so it was very hard to part with it. I also brought my 3 month old baby with me and they were so kind to my family. Their kindness really meant a lot to me. They have no idea how difficult this was and my heart hurts a little less with the stress free process. Thank you. Front staff was awesome. I didn't catch the woman or mans' s name, but they were great. Offered us water and with the heat, it was absolutely needed. There was also a gentleman who shielded my baby from the sun while I gathered my belongings from my car. So kind of him and brought us a bag to put our stuff in and held it open for us. So kind! I normally use whatever tow company my car insurance dispatches so I had never even heard of Jeff Ramirez towing. Since I got my car towed to my house last night my insurance told me I would have to find an outside company for my second tow. I was stressed because I didn't know of any tow companies. These guys charged me $110 per day to store my car that was destroyed in a crash, on top of all kinds of crazy fees. I was injured and couldn't get my car any sooner.
