North Bay tow tows cars elegaly. They go on private property to hook cars for the drop fee. The California law is cars on private property even if parked in red zone must be hooked up in front of management or police and fire when they are present for emergency services. Never use this tow company! My property was having tree trimming work done and contracted with this company to tow vehicles. They hooked up my sons truck but never left the property. They made him pay them in cash and didn't give him a receipt. When I called the company upset to say that is illegal and you have to give someone a receipt and to bring me a receipt or our money. The owner called me a bitch and said I'll kick your f'ing ass whore. The fact that these criminals are allowed to do business in Vacaville is disgusting. Yelp needs to make a zero star option. The city of Vacaville should investigate this business. read more

Believe the reviews....I'm surprised this company is associated with Strada 1200 ("luxury apartments"). Unfortunately I parked by the dumpster because someone parked in my spot and I didn't know what to do as it was nighttime. Definitely call "security" at Strada to get the person in your spot towed so you can park in your own spot. Anyways North Bay takes your vehicle to this strange dump and they demand cash. They towed my car under false intentions saying my tags were expired and they weren't even due yet. when i got to the location of my vehicle same day it was towed they were removing items from another vehicle they had towed when i got to mine they had broken my Ignition and started my car with a fork they messed up my seats went through my glove compartment stole my belongings it wasn't until i contacted the police they told me " just take my vehicle and leave " but it wasn't in driving condition and i was told by police once they arrived this business license has been expired for years now and have many lawsuits pending because they are now known as a "chop shop" these people are shady and i plan on taking full action against each person involved from the owner down to the person in my complex who is in works with them. read more

It's funny how quickly people put somebody down when they know they're in the wrong they're only doing their job. We have been working with North Bay Tow for over five years and counting with us now and let me tell you they are good people. They do what they are supposed to do. If you do not want your car towed then do not park where you are not supposed to. Some people don't realize how hard it is when people park in fire lanes and the purpose of them. Our experience with North Bay Tow has been nothing but great with them and especially with Pat (may he rest in peace) they are reasonable understanding, and kind people. They didn't care to complete the service request. They canceled it out because it wasnt a out of pocket expense. Had he would of showed up the guy would of got a $100 tip he continually to be rude and hung up the phone in my face. Every low star review that has been posted is all true. I rate this place a zero and also agree %100 with the 0 star comment below. I usually don't write yelp reviews, but this place needs it. We parked unintentional at a place that barely had a red line - why we got towed. The office is located in a sketch building/alley in the back. Difficult to find. Upon walking in, you get slammed in the face with old stinky smoke smell. Everything in this little office is COATED with old/current smoke and is a yellow tint. Add onto that like 30 years of dust + equally old office equipment and tv. Someone smoked in the office for YEARS and YEARS. Honestly cannot tell if it is still happening. So that was my first impression. The crude lady sitting in the front must have had a bad day or something, maybe someone pee'd in her cheerios. She proceeded to WRITE our Credit information down in its entirety, including the back numbers on a writing pad. She told us the amount without us seeing an invoice and charged us $250 for our towed truck. She slid our CC in her CC machine. I asked her about writing down our CC number and she said she needed it to enter it in the computer on our invoice. So tell me why she didn't just look at our CC that she had in her hand?! When I asked about her writing our CC number on that writing pad, she proceeded to tell us "I have worked her 19 years.. ect ect". Like I was offending HER? Umm YOU are writing OUR CC info down lady... After that, I'm not sure if she used the our CC info that she wrote down at that moment, but she ripped off that paper where she wrote our CC info on and gave it to us? Yeah that's what we want, a lose piece of paper with our CC info in it. Thanks. And I do know about those tricks where if you press hard enough when writing down info, it 'indents' on the next piece so it can be read later...so hope we don't get screwed over later North Bay Tow. She then printed out our invoice, and on the item line where it was a "Private Tow" the quantity was 1.5 and she charged us $250. Shouldn't the quantity be 1? We didn't have 1.5 cars towed... ALSO the "Towed From" address was not our address... We should be able to see an invoice BEFORE we pay. Unprofessional. We then had to drive way out on Peabody road to pick up our truck. We stood around at this janky junkyard infront of a locked fence for about 10min where we could see our truck. The lady said that if our truck wasn't there, the driver would "be there soon with it". No one was in sight. I called the office and a guy wanted to argue with us about "what did the lady tell you?! What did the lady tell you?!" he kept saying, and I said "She said that if our truck wasn't here, we would have to wait for the guy. Well our truck IS here and no one is here." He backpedaled and told us someone would 'be there soon'. About 20min later, it started to rain. As it started to down-pour, we decided to wait in my car. About 45min later, the driver showed up. This place is extremely unprofessional and both the locations are utterly disgusting. They need to rip up the 30 year old carpet and actually make it look professional and presentable. It has been at least 6 hours, and I STILL have a headache from 2nd-hand smoke. If you are pregnant, do NOT go in that place. Do NOT. This place was extremely scummy and sketchy, and I wouldn't trust them after the service we had. I know these business make A LOT of money, at least you could try to get the smoke out and make the reception room at least presentable and up-to-date to be in our century. My car was towed from the Bennington Garden Feb 21st. I called to get my car the next morning at 7am no answer I called the cell phone number for Pat who called back at about 200 to advise my car was at their tow yard and it would be 400+ to get my car when it had only been towed the night before. Fast forward I never received another call instead I was contacted by the Dixon police that my car was stolen and at Able towing in Dixon. When speaking with the officer on my case I was then advised that my car wasn't stolen but my plates were being used on another Honda that was stolen. I contacted Northbay tow and have not been contacted yet. I've left it up to the officer working the case to figure out that this company is crooked. I want my car back and the valuables in it. Let's see if that's what happens. I will update this review once I'm informed of the outcome. Until then I wouldn't suggest using this company and if you have your car towed please go get it ASAP as I believe they are in the business of tanning advantage of people when they are in need. Not only was Connie warm, kind, and caring she worked with me and made sure I was treated fairly and given a fair option through out everything. I'd leave negative stars if I could, guy towed my car completely wrong & damaged my transmission & didn't wanna fully pay it until I threatened to take him to court. Not to mention he dented the front of my hood & while my car was in the shop for about a month I missed worked & was so very inconvenienced. Also never got refunded the $330 from when he knew he messed up, plus he charged for a day storage when my car was only in there for less than an hour it was only longer bc I was waiting on him to let me get it. Rude, talks very poorly I didn't know what was more irritating the fact that he broke my car or the fact that I couldn't understand ANYTHING that came out of his mouth. I've use Northbay towing for at least 15 years and probably a total of six or seven tows, and I've always had a good experience. Their drivers are professional, competent, and friendly. When you break down and you need a car towed the last thing you need is somebody that's not compassionate, and their drivers are very compassionate and friendly and helpful. I'd like to give 0 stars for this very filthy, disgusting business. Seriously it's like walking into dirty trailer trash world. If you don't know what that is I would advice that you head down to their filthy, stinky hole in the dirt that they call an office just for the trailer trash experience. First there's the stinky dog smell that hits you before you even take a step in, then the carpet/dirt floor and the dusty dark walls. They have one of those swamp coolers that give off that swampy dirt smell...ugh. It looks like like a trailer from the inside. There was a lazy looking dog sitting on a dirty chair watching an old, small tv. Then there was the receptionist....lets just say that she matched the decor and she was as friendly as the dog. Lets just say the vibe there was heavy. The workers... Gross. I've heard that the other Northbay towing offices are the complete opposite..well let me just say the Vacaville office is not representing you well. If you happen to get your car towed...this place is the place to deal with! I was unsure where exactly they were located so I googled the business. Not only did I get their address, but I also read a negative Yelp Review about North Bay Tow. I prepared myself for the worst but was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Callen St. location. A friendly gentleman greeted us as we walked up to the building and the lady in the office was very helpful. I had to wait until the following day to get my vehicle out and it was very stressful. I was afraid I wasn't going to make it back to the tow office before closing time so I called North Bay. The lady that works the counter is wonderful. She was very accommodating and told me not to worry. She told me to take my time and just arrive their safely. The 3 employees that I met while there were very respectful and friendly. I felt I was treated very well and if I ever need a tow truck...I'm calling North Bay Auto. read more
