You never want to hear that AAA is too busy and can't help you with a flat after already waiting for an hour. After a quick search, I called these folks and setup a tow. I had my dog with me and of course it was almost 110ºF so I wasn't nuts about an even longer wait, but these guys showed up when promised, and quickly loaded my car. I reached out to Chris yesterday about getting my Sprinter Van towed from Northern Napa Valley to Fairfield. I reached out to Chris's Towing because AAA couldn't find any of their providers who would take the job. The van was stuck in park so it wasn't an ideal situation. Chris had me send him some pictures and talked through what would need to be done to make it work. My appointment in Fairfield was early in the morning and Chris agreed to get up at 4am to make it to my house by 5am. He was quick, he was professional, and he gave me peace of mind that the vehicle I use for my business was going to make it safely to the dealership for service. Towing a vehicle, especially one this size, is always going to be expensive but Chris's prices are reasonable. His prices are especially reasonable considering he was the only one willing to take the job. After he dropped me and my van off safely I received a call from Chris letting me know I had forgotten my headlamp in his truck. This guy was a lifesaver, he was very friendly, and willing to help me out. He looked over the car and together we carefully maneuvered it to the truck. His attention to detail was beyond words. Long story short (not really) we been stranded in Fairfield for over 3 hrs due to no service from AAA - even with premium membership. We ran into some type of object on I80 East which blew out our tire along with 6 other cars. We called AAA for roadside service but was not provided. First they send someone to come and loaded our car up on the flat bed then instead of driving us home, he dropped us off at the Denny's parking lot off of Travis. The guy said he would come back to get us but didn't. When called AAA, They stated that it's busy night & they can't help towed our car back home. After many attempts, we finally gave Chris a call & he was there in no time. He took care of our Maserati from loading it to the flat bed to unloading it. He even told us to stand there to watch the process so there no damages to the car. You can't get a better service than that. Throughout the ride back, he was very friendly - almost felt like we knew him for a long time. These are the times when a tow truck company actually can make your day. Not only was I out of luck for locking my keys in my car yet again. This time it was on a weekend and all the Tow Truck companies were out of range and it would take $140 to get it done. I have roadside service that covers up to $100. I really did not want to cover the 40 dollar difference to get my keys out on a Saturday night. Not only did Chris's towing call ME BACK within five minutes of this disappointing news. Our car had died on the side of the road and we called another local service (referred by AAA) to pick us up just before 8 pm. They said it would take 20 minutes. After an hour and a half of waiting for them we decided to look elsewhere and struck gold with Chris. He picked up the phone immediately, arrived in 20 minutes, gave us bottles of water and offered to make a pit stop for dinner. He towed us all the way to Santa Clara (75 miles) with a straightforward price that was a hair under the price of the competition.
