One of the best coladas I've ever had, outside of my Cuban mother-in-law's

Listen. This place is the gem of Kendall. Not just for the food. The experience is all encompassing. The staff? AMAZING is the closest word I can come up with. They're known for their pancakes, which are good (I had the traditional pancake this visit), their bacon isn't overcooked, and the coffee was great. I had the cafecito, and I had the custard cafecito on another visit that was solid. I think next time I'm here, I'm going to go with the burger. I just love breakfast food so much, it's always hard for me to order lunch items!

I called to make sure they could accommodate seven of us for lunch today and they're going to move tables together. This casual family friendly restaurant has a captive audience in the Everglades. Jealous Fork started out as the first artisan pancake food truck in the country. Joaquin Ortiz & Henrik Telle needed more space as their line that consistently stretched around the block. People waited for hours just to get a taste of their Instagram-worthy pancakes. Jealous Fork has been featured by foodies & influencers across the country. Talia waited on us and she and the staff were friendly and fabulous. I love the wall of sayings and the tables filled with big beautiful meals. I was invited into the meticulous kitchen. Some of us ordered pancakes, a flatbread, burger, and I shared a steak sandwich. Portions were very generous, prices, reasonable for the quality of the food and our meal was exceptional. We were all wowed!!!!

Finally made it out to the restaurant and I'm kicking myself for not going sooner. Everything was delicious, but the service is next level great. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that pays close attention to the small details The three of us ordered intentionally to share since picking just one thing wasn't going to cut it. Started off with bacon, the had the bahn mi pancakes, strawberry pancakes and salmon pancakes. I also tried something new to me, sweet potato cappuccino. It was more than I could've asked for. Can't wait to go back.

We celebrated such a special moment at Jealous Fork and it was truly unforgettable. The blueberry pancakes were hands down the best we've ever had -- perfectly fluffy, buttery, and topped with the most delicious warm blueberry compote that tasted fresh and homemade. The balance of sweetness was just right, and every bite melted in our mouths. They even added a candle to help us celebrate our engagement, which made it feel extra special and personal. What made the experience even more amazing was the customer service. One of the owner's Joaquin personally came to our table to congratulate us, which was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture. You can truly feel the love and care they put into both their food and their guests. From the warm atmosphere to the incredible pancakes and genuine hospitality, everything was perfect. If you're looking for a place with amazing brunch and even better service, this is it. We'll definitely be back to celebrate many more milestones here.

    Savory pancake! So good!!

Food, service, and vibe was amazing!! Decided to try after seeing good things on instagram. Was so worth it. Our waitress gaby was amazing and sweet. She let us in on a tip that you can order 1 pancake versus 2 per order, and we were so grateful as we wanted to try more than 2 but couldn't eat that much. I recommend getting a savory and sweet one! Definitely will be back. Prices are also very reasonable!! New favorite breakfast place.

Amazing fluffy pancakes! The service is friendly and the food and drinks are truly delicious! Worth the drive. Had the lemon blueberry pancakes and the smoked burrata both were insanely good!

Absolutely delicious!! From my coffee, to the savory pancakes, sweet pancakes, and corn ribs - all were tasty and great portions. My friend and I sat at the bar as all tables were taken; wonderful service! Cute place in a busy location - we will be coming back for more!

One of the savory options. Absolutely delicious, but not nearly as exciting as most of their other choices in my opinion.

I have wanted to try this place for breakfast for a long time since the reviews were excellent, but it seemed a bit out of the way until we decided to move out of the way. Now it is close by and offers a wonderful option for breakfast. We actually saw it when we were eating another establishment in the same strip mall. And boy am I glad we came here. I love breakfast and brunch and so I travel around trying different places all the time. Many of the places are good. Some are fancy. Some are casual. Some are buffets. You can find pretty much anything in Miami. But if you're looking for a simple and perfect breakfast with the absolute best pancakes, you're ever going to taste, this is definitely the place. The servers are extremely attentive, but it's hard not to love them when they're so nice to talk to and they're bringing such delicious food. I really love the vibe of the place and the food is outstanding. I tried both the sweet and the savory and have to admit the sweet is way better. I do have to add to that that the savory was quite good and the lox portion on the one I got was more than generous but after tasting the pancakes on one of the sweet dishes, I absolutely fell in love with those. I keep a list of my favorite breakfast spots since I want to make sure to come back occasionally interrupting my desire to try as many wonderful breakfast in brown spots as I can. This one holds a prominent place in the top view on the list. Highly recommended.

This is one of the most underrated restaurants and worth however long the drive is. Every single dish is always an 11/10. The way the flavors come together are so brilliantly executed and original. The servers are always more than attentive and helpful. The owner Joaquin has truly poured his heart into this restaurant, it's always refreshing to see him there and to know how much he cares! Always very clean and a very nice atmosphere. Great lighting as well.

Came here for brunch on a Wednesday and it was amazing!!! We were seated right away and our server was chi chi who was an absolute gem. Chi Chi was super kind and helpful with the menu. Drinks came out first and were all delicious. Ambiance of the restaurant is great. Really chill vibes with good music. The pancakes take about 20 minutes to cook so definitely order so apps if you're really hungry. I had the brunch and hung over pancake. The pancake its self wasn't super sweet, the toppings made it sugary. Very thick and fluffy. Also had the classic burger which was delicious. Cooked perfectly with very crispy yummy fries. Overall this restaurant is super cute with great vibes will definitely be coming back!!!

Craving a pancake? And want a fluffy pancake? Jealous fork is the place to go!! This little pancake restaurant gets busy really fast and is worth the wait for the fluffy pancake. There are quotes on there wall that are cute and funny. I highly recommend going here

Stopped in for late brunch while we were in town on a Thursday. First, while it's a breakfast/brunch spot, it's kind of strange that you apparently can't just get regular coffee. After they attempted to push the more pricey specialty drinks, getting the $4.50 Americano was about as close as we could get to a regular cup of coffee. It was fine, although it would've been nice to have something with a refill option, which this didn't. My wife had the Oreo pancakes, while I had the PB Cup. Mine looked like the Yelp pics, but hers didn't. No big stack for her. Also, while both were very good, and hers had lots of Oreo pieces, mine didn't really seem to have any PB Cup pieces, although there was definitely a lot of PB sauce/syrup to overwhelm the flavor. The two pancakes weren't necessarily huge, and while we each thought we could've eaten more (as the pics showed) the richness of both proved to be more than enough. Service was friendly enough too. All in all, a little pricey for around $18 each for two pancakes. Good, but not sure we'd rush back real soon if we lived in Miami.

Amazing drinks. Weird menu but interesting and tasty. The sweet potato latte was incredible & the barista did some beautiful design on top!! Michelada was tasty and came with a yummy chamoy lollipop. Cute small intimate brunch joint.

Not that the pizza isn't good; it just isn't great. And it is not because of the ingredients as they all tasted fresh and delicious. It is the preparation. Now let me set some foundation here. I have lived in Rhode Island where pizza is a staple. I have lived in New York and Connecticut, which, despite being neighboring states have entirely different ideas of what the perfect pizza is, and I had the good fortune of the best of both. I have lived in Massachusetts we're outside of the north end of Boston pizza is largely very mediocre and I give all this information just to tell you that I have an established standard for pizza that may differ from other peoples. My favorites come out of coal fired brick ovens. So I was pretty excited about trying Strange Beast. They use a gas fired pizza oven that reaches the same temperatures as the ones to make apizza but they make a Neapolitan pie which traditionally has a soft center whereas Apizza is baked longer to achieve a sturdy, crispy crunch. And this is the part that disappoints me. That soft center does not hold the toppings well and makes the pizza droop when you pick it up. Much like the New York pizza that you have to fold over to keep the toppings from falling off, this pizza just did not have that firmness that I love so much. And on this evening when I ordered the Swamp Thing (Mozzarella, Ricotta, Red Onion, Cherry Tomatoes, Pesto) the center actually seemed raw. Somehow, despite having all my favorite flavors, it looked beautiful on the pan, but flopped over and lost its appeal when it was picked up the flavors all in all were pretty good. The restaurant itself has a pretty cool vibe and the servers were superb. In addition to grieving great service, they were friendly and engaging. This is kind of a highlight of the restaurant. This review is based on a single experience and I will probably try it again. I may ask them to cook the pizza well done to see if it comes closer to what I like. I can't give it my highest recommendation, but I would never give it less than four stars based on even the service alone. So I will be back again an update this sometime soon.

From the second you pull up the driveway, you are greeted by rolling rows of vines and an atmosphere that instantly makes you drop your shoulders and relax. It completely lives up to its name--the vibe is effortlessly mellow, sophisticated, and incredibly welcoming. Here is why this place has officially become my absolute favorite spot: 1. The Wine & Food Pairings are Masterful The culinary team here clearly works hand-in-hand with the winemakers, because the pairings are flawless. We started with a crisp, beautifully balanced white blend paired with an artisanal charcuterie board featuring locally sourced cheeses and a phenomenal house-made fig jam. For the main course, the slow-braised short rib literally melted off the bone, and when paired with their estate estate Syrah, it was pure magic. Every bite was an absolute home run. 2. Breathtaking Atmosphere & Ambiance The design of the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between rustic vineyard charm and modern elegance. We sat out on the covered patio, which offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the vineyard. As the sun began to set, they lit the fire pits and turned on string lights, creating an incredibly romantic, warm glow across the entire space. It's the kind of environment where you just want to linger for hours over dessert and another bottle. 3. World-Class Hospitality What truly elevates Mellow Grapes is the service. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable without an ounce of pretentiousness. They walked us through the tasting notes of each wine, shared the history of the vineyard, and gave us brilliant recommendations based on our personal palates. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed, yet we were perfectly looked after the entire evening. The Verdict Mellow Grapes is an absolute gem. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a perfect date night, or just want to treat yourself to an exquisite meal and fantastic wine, this place delivers on every front. The passion behind the food, the wine, and the hospitality is evident in every single detail. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit. This has always been one of my go-to brunch spots, so I was genuinely surprised by the decline in both the food quality and the service today. I hope this was just an off day because I've had much better experiences here in the past.
